RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Aykan’s strength is combining technical development with a clear understanding of our commercial goals. Their work contributed to a 34% improvement in our average Google search position and established a scalable foundation for our SEO, AEO and GEO strategy, helping us reach more relevant customers as the marketplace grows.

Aykan assigned us a lead developer and an AI project manager, providing clear ownership and consistent communication throughout the project. The wider team rallied around short development sprints when needed to keep delivery on schedule and respond to changing priorities. Project management was thorough, with weekly review meetings and timely, efficient follow-up on agreed actions. They were responsive to our needs and kept the work moving forward.

What stood out most was how personable and easy to work with the Aykan team were. They immersed themselves in our goals, bringing creative ideas and a shared commitment to achieving them. Their ability to connect AI opportunities with practical commercial outcomes made them feel like an extension of our own team.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Scope of Work Our project with Aykan focused on building and customising a Sharetribe Flex (ftw-daily) marketplace to launch GoGallivanting — a UK motorhome and campervan rental platform. The scope covered both frontend UI and backend UX development, ensuring the site could handle a professional booking flow while maintaining flexibility for future AI integration and owner-first features. Aykan’s team worked within the Sharetribe environment to give us, as founders, autonomy over backend settings and control over the renter/owner experience, while customising the frontend to reflect our brand identity.  Key Deliverables:
Marketplace Setup & Customisation: Configured Sharetribe Flex (ftw-daily) as the core platform, tailoring it to support the GoGallivanting brand and workflow.
Multi-layered Commission Model: Developed a flexible commission structure that rewards loyalty and gives owners a fairer deal compared to competitors.
UI/UX Development: Delivered a branded, mobile-responsive interface with intuitive booking flows, streamlined owner onboarding, and renter-friendly navigation.
Image Handling Enhancements: Implemented features for re-ordering listing images, setting hero images, and improving upload usability.
Calendar & Availability: Integrated iCal import/export for owner availability syncing and built dynamic calendar logic into the booking flow.
Payment Integration: Customised Stripe Connect onboarding for owners, including deposits, payouts, and commission handling.
Mapbox Integration: Enabled geo-search with UK-specific focus, improving search results and listing discovery.
Scalability & AI-readiness: Structured the platform to support future AI-powered tools such as GoPilot (smart listing assistant) and GoGuide (dynamic route planning).
Hosting & Deployment Support: Assisted with Microsoft Azure setup and deployment, ensuring a stable and secure live environment.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Measurable Outcomes:

• Accelerated launch timeline: From concept to functional live platform in under X months (ahead of schedule).
• Faster owner onboarding: Custom flows reduced listing creation and verification time by over 50%.
• Flexible commission model: Built a multi-layered structure with loyalty-based scaling for long-term fairness.
• Enhanced renter journey: Improved booking flow, search, and calendar usability validated by positive early tester feedback.
• AI-ready foundations: Structured to support proprietary tools like GoPilot (smart listing assistant) and GoGuide (dynamic trip planner).
• Increased autonomy: Backend controls enable us as founders to manage UX updates without constant dev support, cutting time and costs.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Aykan’s project management has been excellent. They consistently delivered items on time and kept the project moving forward with clear communication and regular updates.

There were occasions where they went above and beyond — for example, working late into Friday night, past 11–12 o’clock local time, to ensure our original test site went live on schedule. That level of dedication gave us real confidence in their commitment.

I also felt fully supported by a balanced team: a dedicated project manager coordinating progress, specialist UI and UX developers aligning the frontend with our brand vision, and AI-focused developers helping us lay the groundwork for future proprietary features like GoGuide and GoPilot.

Overall, their responsiveness and willingness to adapt to our needs have been a major factor in keeping the project on track.

What was your primary form of communication with Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®)?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most about Aykan was the enthusiasm they brought from our very first client meeting. I immediately felt that my brand vision aligned with their philosophy on where web technology is heading.

At GoGallivanting, we weren’t just looking for a developer collaboration to launch a marketplace website — we were seeking a long-term partner who could grow with us, taking the business through the gears to become a dominant player in the UK motorhome and campervan owner–renter space.

Pairing that alignment with access to an extensive specialist team and pricing that aligned with our startup budget made Aykan a very strong proposition.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®) could have done differently?

If there was one area that required extra focus, it was the Stripe payment integration. Adapting Stripe Connect to our specific business model and market requirements was naturally complex, and Aykan approached it with care, detail, and persistence. While it wasn’t without its challenges, the team remained engaged throughout and worked hard to reach a solution — their determination to see it through is what stood out.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the Founder of Resourced Exchange Limited. We are a brokerage that allows engineering companies to collaborate by advertising either the availability of or need for a set number of hours of engineers' spare capacity.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®)?

I needed help developing my online platform to allow it to be both a normal and reverse marketplace. I also needed to implement changes to the original no-code platform I had developed.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®) has helped me with the programming of the platform, setting up the reverse marketplace, and altering the host site's base code. The team has implemented the reverse marketplace feature and a specific user sign-up and bidding process, including the creation of a contract and acceptance of work.

What is the team composition?

We have around six people on the team.

How did you come to work with Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®)?

I found them through a referral.

Why did you choose Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®) over other providers?

We chose them primarily for their cost and availability.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in November 2024, but the work didn't really get started until January 2025, and the engagement is ongoing

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team has delivered a fully functioning MVP of the required platform. We've tested it against my original user requirement specification, and it has met the key features and requirements.

How did Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®) perform from a project management standpoint?

Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®)'s project management has been good. They were slightly later than the original schedule, but this was predominantly due to me not responding to queries very quickly. The team has kept me informed throughout the process, reminding me when they were outstanding on some information.

They've also clearly talked me through the steps I needed to do, including registering with particular services such as Azure. We primarily communicate via email, but they are very amenable to jumping on a conference call.

The biggest challenge was in implementing a very specific vision around a pre-existing no-code platform and doing so in the simplest way. Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®) supported this by holding multiple reviews to ensure they fully understood the essential features that needed to be implemented while advising where "nice to have" features would be complex to implement.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Navinod Technologies LLP(Aykan®) has been very professional. I feel they have gone above and beyond to help deliver my vision.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there's nothing I can come up with.

World Like Home, a comprehensive marketplace designed to facilitate connections between service providers and students embarking on their educational journey in France. Platform is dedicated to help in the often-overwhelming process of navigating through various educational responsibilities and managing tasks, especially associated with relocating to a new country.
Mission of this platform is to alleviate the challenges faced by students by providing a diverse range of services essential for a smooth transition to France. From assistance in finding suitable accommodation to guidance in visa application processes and crafting compelling cover letters, platform offers comprehensive support to students every step of the way.
Platform offers a multitude of services catering to the diverse needs of students, ensuring that they receive assistance in all aspects of their relocation and educational journey. To maintain transparency and trust between all parties involved, platform facilitates easy esigning of contracts, providing a secure environment for transactions. For quick and efficient assistance, it provides a user-friendly chatbot feature to address queries and provide guidance whenever needed. With a commitment to customer satisfaction, platform offers the flexibility for students to pay only after the service provider accepts their request, ensuring peace of mind and satisfaction. In the rare instance where a student is unable to find a suitable service provider, platform goes the extra mile by finding the right provider. It collects an advance fee for this service and reimburse it if platform cannot fulfill its promise.
This project’s aim is to build the word like home marketplace on Sharetribe platform. Though the marketplace already in use catering the real-world customers, underlying platform is not robust and not feature rich to feed the business needs. So, its decided to build the application on Sharetribe platform.

1. Story Points Delivered: Total story points completed per sprint.

Features Delivered:

2. Profile Management: Different profile pages for students and service providers, including image uploads.

4. Booking Transactions: Workflow from student request to provider acceptance and payment.
5. Payment Integration: Stripe integration for card payments and bank transfers.
6. Communication Tools: In-app communication, inbox, and chatbot integration.
7. Notifications: Email notifications and SMS integration via Twilio.
8. E-signature: Contract signing feature using e-signature.
