I’m an executive at a cybersecurity monitoring company that serves cloud-first businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with Musemind?

We hired Musemind to assist with all our brand design and a number of corresponding assets, including web and print assets and event booth design. We needed a holistic engagement.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Musemind provided us with branding and design services. We worked with them for a number of years and in various iterations. The first thing they did for us was to develop our brand guidelines, making sure our color schemes, font, and brand marks were consistent.

From there, they redesigned and built our WordPress website, including our home page, product page, company page, about us page, and integrations.

For the designs, we provided examples of things we liked, Musemind brought examples, and we collaborated with them to find a middle ground. At the start of each project, they interviewed stakeholders and provided reference examples to understand better the style that would resonate with us. After calibrating, they worked incrementally to ensure that their work aligned with our brand vision. Musemind worked iteratively and checked in with our stakeholders frequently to ensure they were moving in the right direction.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to Musemind’s work, we saw increases in web traffic and brand awareness. They were very prolific and had an extensive catalog of examples. Therefore, they could walk us through the various trade-offs of each option and how things might resonate with our buyers. Moreover, they stayed fairly modern.

Musemind’s body of work was valuable for us as a customer. They were a good partner in showing us the range of options and helping influence how we moved forward with a project.

How did Musemind perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time and within the budget. Musemind was prompt, and their deliverables were good; we had no issue getting what we needed on time. We used Asana and Trello for project management.

While there were moments where timelines felt a little compressed mid-project, this was addressed quickly once raised, and the overall delivery felt well managed thereafter. What stood out in particular was their responsiveness and willingness to help when we had last-minute needs, including assisting us promptly with urgent updates outside of core working hours. What stood out most was their design sensibility and attention to detail. Beyond the creative side, their responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile was impressive. Even outside the core project scope, they were approachable, calm under pressure, and genuinely helpful when we needed support at short notice.

At times during the earlier stages of the project, the timeline felt a little compressed, which meant we had to move quite quickly through some decisions. That said, once this was raised, communication and pacing improved and the team were receptive to feedback. That said, in the end, we received exactly the outcome we expected. We were a bit confused initially since the project required more feedback than anticipated, as we were expecting they would provide the best result without much iteration. Nevertheless, achieving this level of design from Musemind was impressive, especially since they are one of the most popular design agencies.
