I'm a brand manager in a SaaS startup providing a customer service automation platform for ecommerce companies.

For what projects/services did your company hire Motionful, and what were your goals?

I had to deliver an explainer for the latest feature of our startup. It is first of its kind feature on the market so it was important for us to have video content that can show potential customers how beneficial it can be for them. We had only 3 weeks, and Motionful raised the challenge. The goal of it was to create explainer easy to understand as well as in line with our brand guidelines.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Motionful was recommended to me by our internal product manager.

Firstly we could choose among styles references the one that is interesting for us. In the meantime, we delivered the script, guidelines, and vector files with the elements of our product. Later, Motionful sent us a schedule with the deadlines for each stage and we were going exactly with these dates during the process. They implemented feedback at every stage we asked to. At the very end, they delivered us also the animation in different formats for social media as well as a version with subtitles.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked both with Lukasz and Ola. Ola was responsible for the storyboards, and Lukasz for the animation. I was gathering feedback internally in the company and sending it over to Motionful email. We jumped on the call several times when it was needed.

We are before the launch yet, so I'm not able to share the results or stats of this content.

I've never worked with a better organized creative agency. They worked smart. They knew how to get and give feedback. They were very talented and always focused.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are on time, they listen, and they know customer's environment, which makes our work easier.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing comes to my mind at this stage.

We are a video marketing agency. I have been running the company for the past 12 years and am now it's CEO.

For what projects/services did your company hire Motionful, and what were your goals?

We were looking for a reliable service provider that could work with our vision and concept and at the same time be mindful of the tight schedule this project set upon. We needed to adapt our ideas into visual form and provide weekly deliverables for our client.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The Motionful crew was engaged, had a good understanding of the aesthetics this project required, they were quick to generate ideas, on-schedule (in previous projects), and affordable.

We started with a briefing session where we described our idea and goals. We also talked about the client's expectations and how we intend to meet them. We worked out a tested work schedule, milestones and agreed to report on each step to keep everyone in the loop.

This helped us make sure our client was well aware of the entire process as well as of each step being performed. First off we agreed on keyframe design, then on scene division, we stopped for some revisions and decided to add a few scenes keeping the schedule in mind. After that we went through the process of making the video (animation).

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with a project manager who had really good communication skills and was very informative on the how's and why's of the project. Each decision was well argumented and explained. We especially appreciate overall schedule awareness.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This project was not yet published, so I'm unable to present and wider feedback. The people responsible for accepting the project are very happy with the outcome and are convinced it meets their expectations and will help them reach their goals.

Communication was frequent and transparent, with no doubts hanging in the air. With just using email and phone we didn't even need to jump in on conference calls, as we had a good, mutual understanding.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

That they live up to their sales pitch of being able to deliver tight schedules at good quality levels while maintaining clear and frequent communication.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

With this particular projects we had no regrets after going with Motionful. They are a good and reliable partner.

We were looking for an agency capable of designing a simple yet efficient explainer video to present our newly created offer.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The main point was the portfolio. They already had a similar project to the one we wanted to deliver.

After one discovery meeting to discuss our goals, we received the style frames based on our brief. Once we agreed, they finalized the design in just a few days. After two revisions, they returned to us with the final edit.

I believe two people were involved.

We are very satisfied with the end result and the whole process. They were very fast and on point.

The whole process was very clear and just one person PM on their end.

They answered fast and delivered within the deadline without compromising on our vision.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would love some follow-up to keep working with them.
