Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Rewrite our existing Physician Dashboard web application from PHP to React language. Implement a new design based on mock-ups, implement new navigation and newly designed display of information. Lots of input and best practice experience was expected from the developer.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Codebase merges and demo versions.
• Testing was done by our own team and tests with end-users are planned.
• Success of the project is measurable by % of test cases passed and an overall comparison of delivered software vs. what was planned.

Worked together with mainly one of Mosano's developers (Bruno). They delivered on time, and when not possible never failed to clearly and communicate so in a timely manner. Great communication skills, awesome fit with the existing team.

Not currently. I would highly recommend Mosano for future projects.

Overall performance optimization was the first stage of the project. The success of this stage was more than clear leading to the second phase: infrastructure and cloud optimization (currently ongoing).

We are a technology-driven company whose mission is to drive the world’s evolution to a more efficient, sustainable and ethical society. To do so, we develop hardware and software to provide essential logistics values: efficiency, visibility & sustainability.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Mosano, and what were your goals?

The frontend for our digital products needed to be migrated into using more recent MUI components as well as having a robust testing framework.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We knew the company from mutual connections and had very good feedback. After a quick web search and a meeting to discuss the proposed work, we chose Mosano based on their confidence, skill set and cost estimate.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our objectives. From there, we delivered a work document enumerating all tasks, expected results and affected components. We provided access to the codebase and instructions to run it and delivered payloads of data to test against. We set up daily meetings to updates us on the progress and deal with any blocking issues. Mosano migrated all our requested components to use the most recent MUI components and implemented a testing framework.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked closely with a full stack developer for most of the time and another senior developer for the implementation of the testing framework. We would contact them directly. We were also in contact with their project manager for any non dev related work.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After migrating the components, the number of UX features was significantly increased and our users reported increased performance and better looks and usability.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had daily stand-ups with the developers via slack. If there were any rescheduling we would inform each other ahead of time and reschedule accordingly. We mainly used Slack to coordinate and solve blocking points. They were outstanding partners to be working with our team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Very flexible approach to our requirements and work load and a significant sense of trust and duty of care towards us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The developer in charge of the migration was only a junior and his strategy to migrate the codebase could have been slightly better. Nevertheless, we knew this moving forward and the changes on our side were kept to a minimum. The developer in charge of the testing framework was a bit too slow to start with and less communicative, leaving us with the uncertainty on the actual progress.
