We wanted to communicate out vast amount of engineering experience in 60 seconds in an entertaining medium.

We discussed our ideas with several other vendors. Modo came up with the best solution and value.

We started this project by discussing our vision for the project. Modo did a great job extracting this information and presenting a story board. We had several update meetings where we flushed out ideas and their creative team molded the concept. This was the case right up to the final product.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Hunter Ballam was our project coordinator for this project. Hunter was key in every aspect of the design and communication. It is so great to have one contact that took care of all of the details from start to completion and ship.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was well received by all stake holders in our company. We have posted this animation on our website and use it as a mailer. We have received compliments and project requests that point back to his marketing piece.

The project manager provided timely feedback. Modi has the ability to communicate expectations and schedule dates. They met or exceeded every committed ship date.

Modo is very creative and was able to capture our ideas in a meaningful way. They are a really fun team and we enjoyed working with the team.

Modo exceeded our expectations and we look forward to working with them on our next project

We wanted an exciting video we could use for TextMyGov that cities could use to get citizens excited about their new ability to send a text message to find information and report issues.

We reached out to Modo after we were contacted by them a year ago. Their work was cutting edge and exactly what we needed for our project.

Modo met with is to understand the purpose of the video and what elements we needed to effectively communicate our message. They took us through the whole process from the story board to the final result. The communication was great with the Modo team, fast reply and made adjustments as needed to ensure a great experience.

I mostly worked with Hunter and Tyler, They were both excellent at responding to feedback. Communication was mostly done through email for minor tweaks and we had webinar meeting with them to tackle larger steps in the process.

Customers, we have shared the video with were excited to see it and have a way to better inform citizens of their new service.

Modo's project management was was great, they kept us in the loop for every step, providing us scripts, storyboards, voice actor selections and a final video.

For what projects/services did your company hire Modo Studios, and what were your goals?

We hired Modo for a 3-in-1 video/photo project. We wanted to refresh some of our stock photography assets, have a graphic video promoting a new product created, and create a new "hero" video for our brand.

How did you selectModo Studios and what were the deciding factors?

We have worked with Modo several times in the past and have always been extremely impressed. It was a no-brainer to choose them again.

The Modo team met with me and we discussed the general vision for the project. I gave some initial ideas and feedback. They distilled those ideas and came back with several pitch concepts for the hero video and the short graphic video (the stock photos were pretty straightforward). We brainstormed further and narrowed down the approach to both videos. Modo then created storyboards and scripts for both videos and began assembling lists of locations, actors, props, assets, etc.

Over the course of several weeks, all of these details provided by Modo were narrowed down and decided on. Dates were scheduled and over a period of two days, stock photography was taken and filming took place. Modo had already delivered the graphic video, which was collaborated on and refined without any filming since it was all digital. After filming it was only a short time later when I could review an initial draft of the video. We had several rounds of back and forth edits until the video was exactly where we needed it and completed.

We worked with a variety of people at the Modo team. This included Taylor - the founder, director and lead producer, Ciara, one of the production managers, and Brennen who worked on the graphic elements and editing. Feedback was easy to give and they were very flexible with changes and modifications.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The videos have been a great addition to our branding efforts, as have the stock photography. It has helped us refine our messaging and value to prospects and clients.

The project as a whole progressed very quickly. They used Google Docs for collaborating on ideas/scripts/storyboards and Google slides for sharing talent, location, and other visual components. For video editing and feedback they used frame.io, which was very easy to use.

The Modo team is excellent at what they do. They run a smooth operation from start to finish. Their work speaks for itself and is incredibly good. They were extremely professional and have a great number of resources available to make projects come to life.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For this project, I don't think there is anything we would have done differently with Modo.
