Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm co-owner of a company specializing in nature burials, a new and fast growing segment in the funeral sector.

For what projects/services did your company hire Modern Minds, and what were your goals?

Our company operates in a relatively new segment of a very traditional industry. Therefore, when developing our first website, there were limited market and consumer data available. Now, one year later, we are setting the next step in our web development, based on more UX and consumer data and on the learnings of our marketing campaigns.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

For us it was important to work with a vendor with a holistic approach to our challenge, integrating web development with marketing, analytics and research.

After a kick-off meeting in which we discussed our business strategy, positioning, objectives, et cetera, Modern Minds executed a number of analysis, among which SEO, SEA, UX and Google Analytics. Based on that we have designed a roadmap together with a step by step approach for the further development of our online strategy.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

My main contacts were the project manager and a number of specialists in the different areas (analytics, design, technology, ..).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are now implementing the first steps as detailed in our roadmap. First outcomes look promising, but it is too early to quantify the results.

Easy going style, with a clear focus on the deliverables. Good, clear and timely feedback during the whole process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The integrated approach and the fact that they really made an effort to understand our unique business. No standard solutions, but very client oriented.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am not a online specialist and have limited knowledge of technologies behind websites. They should always bear in mind that not everybody has their level of (technical) knowledge when presenting solutions. We have discussed this issue and now they make sure (even) I understand the issue and the possible solutions (without oversimplifying).

The company was recently acquired and we would like to upgrade the website and add it to the same system as our parent company

Naturally for their quality but also because the owner is friends with the owner of this company

We had a first meeting in which we indicated how we would like to see the website, put down comparable material and also based on the website of our parent company

unfortunately the website is not yet launched but so far it looks amazing

Communication was a lot during this period and went very well, quick contacts, decisive team meetings and the adjustments were processed immediately. Both the designer and manager worked very pleasantly and correctly

I was impressed with their effective communication. The program figma worked very well, first time that I worked with this program and it was amazing , adjustments were done live really nice work

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Personally nothing to complain about the collaboration all went well, quickly a prosperous

Modern Minds is a great partner as a supplier of our website. The development of the website went through an extensive intake and our wishes were translated into the look and feel, but also into making conversions measurable. Our guests experience a lot of ease of use of the website. The site was easy to maintain with wordpress and for service, the team was usually ready to offer help fairly quickly.
