We needed help with the UX/UI design of a new customer support portal for one of our clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Moburst has created the UI/UX designs we needed. Initially, we had a brainstorming session to address our client’s needs and review how they wanted the solution to look. Then, they provided us with some mockups they made on InVision, and we iterated on those to make some corrections and changes.

After that, the rest of the project has gone smoothly. They’ve already provided us with the final designs, which they created using Adobe. Now, our internal team is in charge of implementing them.

We’ve worked with some designers from Moburst, and they’ve been part of the meetings, but we don’t communicate with them directly.

Moburst was referred to us. We evaluated a few companies that came up with different creative ideas, but we saw that Moburst provided the most efficient and exciting suggestions for the project.

We started working together in January 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to Moburst’s designs, we can definitely see an improvement in our platform’s UI/UX.

How did Moburst perform from a project management standpoint?

Moburst is very professional, and they’ve performed excellently on everything. We usually communicate via Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Moburst’s work in defining projects is very detailed. They excel at doing market research and coming up with creative ideas. Additionally, they’re very knowledgeable regarding project execution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Given that Moburst is very knowledgeable, it would be good if they pushed their ideas more instead of relying on the client’s ideas. Sometimes, they’ve changed direction based on our ideas, but we’ve realized that their input is usually better due to their experience.

We had developed this concept and had the right team in place but we had trouble taking our vision and creating a site that bridged the gap between both digital and web 3.0, which is the look we were going for. We needed a strategy to not only design and showcase what we were doing as a company, but to excite them about the future and have the right feel for our industry

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were introduced to Moburst through a friend who knew the CEO from S. Florida. After speaking with him and hearing his vision and his in depth knowledge, we knew there was no need to shop around.

Initially we had a call with the CEO and the creative team (in Israel) and we agreed on the vision. We then went through a few variations of ideas and designs with some revisions until we were where we needed to be and then built out the content and details, which were streamlined through weekly calls.

We worked with the CEO, Gilad, and the creative team in Israel, overseen by Yuval, who handled the overall website.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In terms of success, I thing the website speaks for itself! We love it and so do all of the people that visit it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was seamless - really easy to work together through Slack.

They have broad knowledge. Their ability to quickly research and turn words into a vision was extremely unique and this was what made them great.

We started with an initial discovery and went through what we were looking for and various ideas. They came back to us with suggestions for the websites we were discussing and samples of images that they had created for others for look and feel. After a few calls going back and forth, they sent us the final strategy and helped us implement.

Our main point of contact was the head of Strategy in Israel, Yuval, who presented everything to us and walked us through their ideas.

We were extremely happy and our clients loved the new look, which kept us very relevant during this trying time.

We found them on the top pages for mobile app developers when we were considering doing an app for the store and were very impressed after our initial call. We were opening up a new store and needed help

We were searching for a one stop shop company that can help with all our marketing needs.. and this company stood out from the rest

They ended up helping us with strategy for launching our new store in cleveland and developing a social media and email strategy that would help integrate every one of our stores into and to feel like 1 national brand. (email newsletters, social media, flyer design etc..)

I worked directly with the Head of Strategy, who was my main contact and point person. I would receive creative and other items through a Slack channel, but only dealt directly with 1 person, which made the process much easier

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We measure by the amount of people that visit our website and store. We definitely saw an uptick in the click throughs and online orders, especially around holidays as a result. The hardest thing was time zones for calls as if we needed a creative, it went through Israel, but they gave us a rep in the US to make it better, which it did

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Great.. we were constantly in communications via email, and other conference calls. They've been great and are easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Litterally a one stop shop... they helped us from A to Z

Nothing that I can say base done our project, they really were a great help.

We are a mobile gaming company with a few very big titles in the mid-core and hardcore genres. I lead the App Store Optimization (ASO) work in the company, and I manage all the titles that we have.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Moburst?

We needed outsourced help with three distinct services. We asked them to help us with keyword optimization for our titles in the stores, creative design for store galleries, and influencer marketing. For the final service lines, we were researching different agencies to help us reach out to influencers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They reviewed two of our biggest titles, performed keyword research for the titles, and recommended which text to put in both the App Store and Google Play Store so that we could increase our organic reach. That project lasted several months as we had a few iterations.

In parallel to that, they designed screenshot galleries with us. They created new galleries for the store designs, which we used to test in the store.

The third project was influencer marketing, which is not a part of my team so I can’t give a specific opinion about that. Once there was engagement and the influencer marketing kicked into play, we forwarded it to the respective people.

What is the team composition?

I worked with the ASO lead, the CRO lead who managed all of the gallery creative asset optimizations, and the creative lead who, is in charge of the whole design team.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent roughly $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

It started around February 2021. We started with the ASO, then the creative design and testing, and then the influencer marketing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The purpose of the initial engagement was to increase the organic reach through keyword optimization, which we did quite successfully. Moburst pinpointed the right keywords to focus on, and then they helped us achieve a higher ranking for these keywords, resulting in more downloads for these keywords by reinventing the meta-assets, including the description, title, and algorithmically relevant store assets. They did it in a thorough, meticulous way that we couldn’t do in-house because we don’t have the people necessary.

The second task was creating the screenshot gallery based on the hypothesis that our internal research team gave them. Our team here researched what kind of core motivations players have and Moburst built two distinct galleries based on that information. We tested those against each other and against the current gallery, and they were a lot better than the current gallery. This effort was a very interesting and positive experience because they managed to take the insights that our research team had and translate them into visuals that worked better. The engagement with the creative lasted another two months approximately.

How did Moburst perform from a project management standpoint?

The experience with them was very positive, and everything was top-notch. The service, speed, and communication were all good. I can’t say that there is anything bad to report here. I know how to work with agencies, and they know how to work with gaming companies, so everything went very smoothly.

For communication tools, it depended on which part of the project we were in and which team we were working with. We used Asana for project management and Slack overall. When we did the ASO, we used Slack to pass the materials back and forth, as I needed to involve my brand team to approv the text. When we talked about the creative and visuals, we used Slack and Asana because the projects were a little more complicated and we needed more assets to be delivered back and forth. Occasionally, I talked to the project managers on WhatsApp, but that was just me and them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would say that their strengths are being meticulous and very up to date with the industry trends. They knew many things that we didn’t. It is their job to be on top of things all the time, and they did that. They impressed me quite a lot with a few things I didn’t know, even though we are in the same profession.

They are also very service-oriented, and they make sure that the work is not just about being professional, but also about being service-oriented. Whenever we needed something, we got a quick response, even if it wasn’t always urgent. They always made sure that we felt confident about their response in a timely manner

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not in the scope of our engagement. I remember that I also talked to the influencer marketing lead here, and she was very positive about continuing with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come with an open mind. They sometimes have out-of-the-box ideas that need to be explored with an open mind. For example, testing icons is something that many companies are very hard with because an icon is the brand identity. Their team does have interesting insights and we do use them. I am glad to say that it proved to be a good decision.

We hired Moburst to help us with our social media marketing efforts. Their main responsibilities include developing, launching, and managing campaigns on social media. They create content such as static images, videos, and copy for our website, campaigns, and social media posts.

Aside from that, they also help us find influencers to partner with for our campaigns. They’re tasked with setting up contracts with influencers and managing them. They’ve also helped us optimize our site’s content to help us further increase our conversion rate.

We work with 5-7 people, which include a project manager, copywriters, graphic designers, and videographers from Moburst.

Moburst is a true professional and expert in their field. They know how to utilize their knowledge to guide my company in the right direction and to help us achieve our goals. I also appreciate how attentive and responsive they are and how well they take care of me.

I’m the digital marketing manager at Redefine Meat, a food technology company based in Israel founded in 2018.

We needed Moburst’s help to improve our digital presence.

What was the scope of their involvement?

At the start of our collaboration, Moburst built a landing page for us. They also worked on our SEO and link-building strategy needs; the team also did research on other food technology and meat companies. They gave us an overview of the industry before beginning their work. 

Moburst has also worked on our social media campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Together, we’ve built our activation plan and strategy that details how many posts we will push out and who our target audience is — we’ve essentially planned the entire funnel for our social media. 

At present, they do campaign optimization tasks. While working on our social media accounts, they work on optimizing our content and introducing our brand to various audiences. We work closely with them to find the right audience for each social media platform. We also use them for planning, budgeting, and executing all of our campaigns.

We work with an account manager, who serves as my main point of contact. I also have dedicated meetings with their social media and development teams.

Moburst was already working with our company when I joined. However, our founder let me decide whether I wanted to continue with them or seek another organization. To measure success, we track the conversion of our B2B and B2C leads as we enrich our database. We’re also tracking several KPIs related to brand building and digital marketing, such as conversion rates, CTR, cost per click, and others.

Moburst’s project management is great. They use their own platforms for project management, but we only use Slack to communicate with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When it comes to digital communication, we need to consider many aspects, such as content, media, and assets. What makes Moburst so unique is that they provide an impressive suite of services that are truly in sync with each other. Their resources also work well together to give us fast results. Since we’re a startup, we’re still agile — and we need a truly agile partner like Moburst.

They’re highly tech- and conversion-oriented, but they don’t have much experience in the food industry. To be fair, they’ve gained some experience in our industry after working with us for over a year.

Moburst is excellent in execution, they provided many recommendations for enhancing attribution, there are some opportunities for more brand/creative guidance and recommendations.

I’m the mobile project manager at Evest, an investing and trading company. I manage the paid and organic growth of our mobile app within all of the global markets, and I’m in charge of our partnerships. I’m also in charge of the new UI of our new mobile app that’s going to launch in 2022.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Moburst has helped us promote our app wisely and organically, managing every promotion channel for both iOS and Android. They’re not only focusing on organic traffic, but they’re now promoting our app through paid channels.

We’re developing new strategies and adding new promotion channels to our partnership. Currently, they also create content for the ads, do keyword research, and help us with all the planning. Additionally, they will manage a new Apple search channel to bring us new traffic and more targeted clients.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since launching our app in April 2021, we’ve seen over 15,227 organic installs and 10,468 non-organic installs. Additionally, Moburst has shared screenshots with us of keywords that have raised us to the top 10 apps in our category.

How did Moburst perform from a project management standpoint?

Moburst is very organized with the tools they’re using. We use Appfire to track our results, and they use an ASO tool called Uptick to track other metrics as well.
