Project management is very good. The great thing about them is that we speak on almost a daily basis through Skype. It’s been great communication in every step of the process.

Even though it was during the COVID-19 crisis, we still stayed in touch, and they always managed to give me feedback while they were working remotely. We used Asana.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We had a full understanding of each other. I liked how responsive they were and how respectful they were of my ideas and project.

The team also offered new ideas that respected the main idea that I had. There’s such ease of communication with them. It’s not just a development company; it’s a full package.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everything was well-written. Sometimes the communication between their sales and development team could be improved. Otherwise, it was great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be reactive and great at communication. You can get a lot out of this company if you’re reactive on Skype or whatever tool you’re using. They can do something very customized, but you need to describe it fully.

Convey all your information, and they will integrate them within the process. If you struggle to be responsive to email, etc., it may be hard for them to perform at their best. They are very patient, though.

MobileCoderz Technologies is developing our app for Android and iOS. They started from scratch. I gave them a comprehensive list of requirements, which they broke down into tasks. They also added new ideas and features to it.

What is the team composition?

I have two main points of contact: one on the technical side and one on the business side. There are around four other people involved in the development process. I try to keep interfacing at a minimum in order to have lengthy discussions with just two of them and not distract the others from their work.

I looked online for quite a while and contacted companies in India, Rwanda, Cameroon, and the US. I asked each candidate to forward me their portfolio, and MobileCoderz Technologies had the widest one out of all of them. 

They’d touched quite a few industries and produced a wide range of applications. Ultimately, the collaboration wouldn’t end with this application. I had a few other possibilities to test in the coming years, and they had the capabilities to deliver on my ideas.

MobileCoderz Technologies' developers have great expertise. They value my time just as much as I do theirs, and I know that I’m dealing with a company that takes its work seriously. They intensively ask me for feedback on the work they’ve already done.

They broke down the project into feasible milestones in the beginning, and we’ve completed three of those so far. They never disappointed, and they actually delivered each milestone early. I believe we’ll finish the first phase earlier than anticipated.

They have great customer communication skills, and they’re always available. They’re clear and concise, and they always leave decisions up to the customer. I’m sure that I’m not the easiest customer to deal with, given that I’m in the business and I provide QA. 

I’m looking at my own app in even more detail, and I send them bug reports and new requirements on a daily basis. The response I get from them is always positive. They’re always willing to make changes and ensure that what I want to realize will come to life. 

They try to look at the product from my point of view, not theirs. MobileCoderz Technologies has the right resources on board, and they’re always willing to go the extra mile to make things happen.

They’re always there when I need them, and they go the extra mile, including working on weekends. I don’t encourage that, because I know what weekends are for, but they’re willing to do it.

Their professionalism is unrivaled. I’m working with people with just as much project management know-how as myself or maybe more, and who are totally confident in their capabilities and aren’t scared to let me know what the limits are to the things I’m proposing.

Nonetheless, they strive to bring the best possible outcome from each effort they make. I have the best possible partner for my endeavor, and I’d definitely recommend them to others.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a creative mindset, and they’ve been able to highlight a few things that I overlooked during the process. They came up with even better proposals than I could’ve, and they also kept the price affordable for me, as a small consultancy owner.

In a nutshell, MobileCoderz Technologies is the best thing that could’ve happened to me in this project. They have a well-rounded portfolio, and their team is able to handle project management, development, maintenance, and marketing. They have a lot of things figured out, which they can supply with ease.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not that I can think of. We haven’t had any critical scenarios yet.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s important to speak freely with them and not hide anything. We’re working in a very technical field, so it’s important to avoid powerful emotions.

If the client thinks that the direction isn’t going quite where they want, they should simply let MobileCoderz Technologies know. They have a creative side, but, as with any creative process, they need a bit of input.

To start, I used Adobe XD to demonstrate the basics of what we wanted the app to look like. We then asked a few people about their thoughts on configuration, such as if it made sense for a certain button to take a user to a different page. There were about eight people on our team. It was a challenging project and we hit a few bumps in the beginning. But once we were assigned a new team leader, everything ran more smoothly.

Overall, we are happy with our engagement with their team. The first couple versions of the program had some technical problems, and they missed several details, but we went back and forth a bit until we were happy with the final result. We are looking forward to bringing in their team again to add more features.

We have active calls for project status and us Skype for conference calls. I contact them at least once a day, and they get back to me within half an hour.

We know that our app was very complicated to create, but they responded to our comments until the final version was just right.

They could pay more attention to the details. Small points like line alignment weren’t that significant to them, but they were important to us.

It’s really helpful to demonstrate exactly what you want. That is what we did when we drafted our ideas with Adobe XD. Obviously, they won’t be able to meet your needs if you aren’t able to explain what you want.
