Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the president and founder of Microgrid Systems Laboratory, an NGO. We have an initiative called the Energy Sovereignty Institute.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mindshare Labs, Inc. built our site on WordPress. Along with developing the website from scratch, the team created graphics and marketing collateral.

What is the team composition?

I only had contact with James (Owner).

How did you come to work with Mindshare Labs, Inc.?

I have some close friends who used to be in the web design and development business. Those friends recommended them. They even shared quarters with Mindshare Labs, Inc.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in April 2020, and the site launched in October 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had a positive reaction to the launch. A couple of my knowledgeable colleagues who work in energy development have been highly complimentary about the site. The platform is an information and resource space.

How did Mindshare Labs, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management style was excellent. They’re responsive and communicative. James and I preferred communicating over email. He would respond in a matter of hours.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mindshare Labs, Inc. is enjoyable to work with. James is pleasant, smart, and skilled in the areas of development and design. They didn’t advertise themselves as a design shop, but James could do everything I needed from a design perspective. They hit all of the right notes, delivering high-quality work and a responsive engagement. They really went the extra mile.

No, I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Have your expectations clear. Make sure the agreement reflects that.
