Dewie is an impact-oriented app for parents and carers of kids aged 18 months to 5 years, built by parents and early years experts from the UK and the US.

The Mind for Apps team brought our vision for Dewie to life - this has involved multiple iterations of our product. Dewie has been built 3 times in different forms since we started working with the team. 

• All development of the app
• UX and design for all app pages
• UX and design for the website
• Setting up and testing the app in the App Store and Play Store
• Setting up payments systems
• Setting up notifications
• QA and testing of the app

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Met all project milestones very smoothly with great efficiency - we are now ready for the newest version of the app to fly!

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project has been run extremely efficiently from the outset. Communication has been very strong and the team have remained patient with us as we have made pivots. The team is highly responsive, replying within minutes most of the time - this has been very reassuring, especially as we've noticed things we'd like to update/ fix.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

All development and design work was completed exceptionally efficiently and within a short time period. The level of their output is extremely high.

The team's commitment to the project was clear from the outset and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something MindForApps could have done differently?

We have worked together for a little while and so the QA team on the project has changed a couple of times over the 4 years we have worked together. This is natural, but because our workflows are quite specific, a broader context of the app has been useful and it sometimes took a little longer for the new QA person to get up to speed.
