Muallim Media operates several well-known media outlets in Uzbekistan (more than 300K daily active users). The company has more than 100 employees based in Tashkent. I have been working for this company as a Project Manager since 2015

For what projects/services did your company hire Mimsoft, and what were your goals?

In 2021, muslimaat.uz- a major medai platform for women didn't have any mobile applications, which in turn created difficulty and we were witnessing a noticeable decline in the number of daily users. To overcome that problem, we hired Mimsoft to develop both Android and iOS Mobile applications for the platform.

The app allows the users not only to read the news and content both online and offline but also it sends timely notifications of praying times and other useful features, which created many more convenience for the users

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had worked with this company before and they had a very good impression on us

We had a series of meetings to discuess our goals and objectives. We were given a design in a week. After we had confirmed that, they delivered the first version of IOS and Android applications within 4 weeks. Before launching, we ran it through beta testing

A project manager was assigned to be our main point of contact throughout the project. Additionally I mostly interacted with:

• one UI&UX Designer
• three lead android, iOS and back-end developers

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within 3 months after our app was launched, we saw over 10,000 downloads and achived a 4.7-star rating in PlayStore and AppStore. We have seen a thremendous boost in traffic since launching the app, and people have commented on how easy it is tu use, We have gained new readers and visitors becouse of the platform.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We had both in-person meetings and phone calls, but most of the feedback was through Telegram. Everything was delivered on time and we received ample warning if a deadline was’nt going to be met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The best side of your company that we liked very much is that it gave us useful suggestions for our prosperity that we didn't know and helped to accomplish them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Although we did not include some features in the agreement, we are pleased that Mimsoft provided us for free, saying that the platform would not be perfect without them.

I'm the project marketing manager in a large carpet manufacturing company. Currently we are the biggest carpet manufacturing company among USSR countries. Besides manufacturing, we also have hundreds of retail stores, most of which are located in local market.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mimsoft, and what were your goals?

There were two most important reasons for starting this project:

1.  it was difficult for us to provide all our retail stores with the whole range of assortment of carpets that are manufactured in our company, since the number of SKU is large and the physical capacity of stores is limited, we could only provide the stores with less than 10% of our assortment.
2. Throughout the country, there were different prices in different stores, which had negative effect on our brand image and loyalness of our end-customers. With this project we aimed not only solve this problems, but also optimise the processes in retail stores. For example the new mobile app for our drivers prepared by MIMSOFT helped us to automate the process of carpet delivery to our end-customers, moreover it provides us with useful data for analysis which helps our decisions to be more accurate.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had meetings with more than 5 teams to find out the most suitable one for our project from various points of view, such as price, understanding the scope of the project, scheduling and trustworthiness of the team. Among the interviewed teams MIMSOFT was the most suitable option for us

Talking about the steps of the project, first we had a couple of meetings to define our needs, what was our project supposed to be, and what problems should it solve. Than the MIMSOFT team prepared their plans and mockups of the website in figma, their views on the project suited our views and expectations, that's why we approved their plan and started working with them.

Since this project was a new one to carpet industry in our country, there were some changes throughout the project where we tried to create the ideal working model for us. That is why we had to make videocall meetings several times with the team of programmers to discuss and find the solution to the problems that may probably occur during implementation.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

First, by launching a web-site, we could demonstrate all our assortment: some percentage of assortment offline (2-9% depending on the size of the store or showroom) in the store itself and the rest of assortment we could show to our customers online via our new web-site. Second, since we show our assortment online, we can set identical prices everywhere, regardless of the location of the stores. Moreover, online orders increase our sales by 23% on average so far. Since the project is still a new one, it gives us the belief that the figures may be even higher in the future

Our main communication tool was telegram. Since telegram is very popular in our country, it helped us to be in touch with the team of programmers almost 24/7 and any delays or other type of comments or questions were immediately discussed in our Telegram group.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by their work ethic throughout the project development. For example there were about 6 or 7 cases when they added such functions that we hadn't even thought about, but which would have a huge impact on the success of our project in the long run. Most of those functions are not still used by us, but we know that after some time those functions will be used often enough to play one of the key roles in our work

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Don't know exactly what to recommend for them. Maybe they should be a little bit more accurate with timeliness. There were a couple of cases when they were either ahead or behind the timeline
