Website - visual layout of main menue bar, assist with certain pages on spacing of text.  Assist with the lauch of new event pages on website.  Always fast to answer any questions/concerns.

Portal - Development and assistance of our booking system and payment portal which collects key information for our events in order for us to operate many of our programs.

Our projects are on going due to the many changes in scope of work and events we operate.

Website team responds immediately. 

Portal project we have weekly meetings to reveiw progess, testing environments progress.  As mentioned this project has been ongoing.

Their developers where able to greatly improve and develope new processes that the previous company was unable to deliver.  Greatly improved the client experience when booking and paying for their trip.  Created reporting processes for accounting, rooming lists, etc.

They inherited a big mess made by the previous company and have improved our many functions and features.

The Schreiber Center recently underwent an extensive renovation and expansion project to upgrade our facilities. Our existing website did not reflect our enhanced image or the breadth of work that the Center provides to families in our region. The prior website was no longer fulfilling our needs and couldn't be fixed. Therefore; it was critical that we developed a new site that provided information for our various audience types as well as clearly identified the pathways of having your child enrolled in therapy, educational and recreational services for the Schreiber Center. We also needed a home to highlight our philanthropic efforts and simplisticly direct volunteers on the steps needed to engage. 

Mile 6 was a fanatstic partner in undertaking this project. We began with a review of other-like nonprofit websites and took inventory of what did and did not apeal to us. We also created personas of unique website users that guided our functionality, site mapping and layout designs. 

As an organization that serves the disability community, it was important that our website was fully ADA accessible and they worked with us to ensure the proper functionality was in-place to facilitate this. 

The outcome was a new, streamlined website that easily identifies entry points for our various consumers. We recently received word that a possible speech-therapy candidate applied for an opening at the Schreiber Center because she was impressed with our website and the story it told about the work of the Schreiber Center.

The team at Mile 6 was fantastic to work with. They and we appreicated the timeline set forth and each side worked diligently to maintain it, which made the entire design process run very smoothy. The team was very responsive to our needs for clarity, additional information or identifying alternative solutions. All in all, it felt like we were supported by Mile 6 throughout the entire process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team at Mile6 really took the time to get to know our organization and understand our mission. They were as concerned about costs as we were and were transparent in the cost needs to accomplish what we needed and desired from a final product. While we worked with a number of different people throughout the project, our key project manager was the constant who ensured that information between all parties was managed efficiently and effectively. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mile6 could have done differently?

The entire facilitation process from start to finish was managed well. I don't have any recommendations for things that could have enhanced the workflow or project.

Together, we will explore competitors, define user flows and define the project's strategic elements. After defining the strategic direction, the Mile6 team will complete a variety of design and development deliverables. The goal of this project is to produce a consistent and positive website experience for both members and non-members.

Key deliverables include:

• Design wireframes for 13 key web pages
• Update the website style guide
• Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes
• Design wireframes and update eight key pages that make up the member-only dashboard
• Set up a staging environment
• Migrate existing databases and functionality
• Create custom Gutenberg blocks and sections for WordPress

A variety of factors were considered indicators of success:

• Decreased bloat and increased website load speeds.
• Increased overall traffic to the website.

• Increased engagement, specifically from logged-in users.

The Mile6 team took care to outline the details of the project, who from their team would be completing the tasks and the overall timeline of the project. During the project, we had weekly virtual check-ins. In between check-ins, our client success manager and project manager were always a message away if we had questions. They always responded to messages with an answer or a note that they were looking for the answer and would be back in touch.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Mile6 truly cares for its clients and their goals. They put in a lot of work upfront to determine the project's goals and strategy. As a client in a non-sales-focused industry, it can be difficult to find a company that understands our needs. If there was confusion (on either side) about an element of the project, they would take time to understand the history and work toward a solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Mile6 could have done differently?

Prior to starting the website redesign with Mile6, our website contained a lot of custom development, plugins and a unique login experience. Admittedly, some of that was causing bloat, so the new site was being built from the ground up. Solely because of its complexity, it could have been helpful to walk through the significance of each element and how it relates to the site as a whole.

Mile6 was to create a new home page for us as well as a template from which we could create sub sites for existing and new gated communities. Each of these would be linked from our home page, which had to be fluid based on us growing and gaining new communities over time. 

The sub sites themselves needed to house an embedded magazine, individual articles and four sub pages; article archives, issue archives, event board and preferred vendor page. Outside of the magazine copy we had three different advertising options. We had specific preferences and requirements that they needed to customize and all of this (advertising and content) needed to be broadcastable across all sub pages.

yes. First long term project like this that I've worked on that wasn't ever behind schedule. When we had miscommunications about a feature or item, we resolved it quickly and constructively. Great project management

I’m the Marketing Manager of Benchmark Construction. Benchmark specializes in commercial construction services for healthcare, senior living, education, multi-family, life sciences, industrial, and commercial sectors across central and eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mile6?

We needed to refresh our website to bring it to 2023 standards and focus on high-quality photos to draw the users' attention.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mile6 provided website design and development. The team handled the following deliverables: identifying user personas, market research, user flow, sitemap, wireframe, page designs, and mobile layout.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Mile6.

How did you come to work with Mile6?

Mile6 is our website hosting company. We chose them because they had high ratings, were close to our geographic location, had pricing that fit our budget, had a great culture fit, and offered good value for the cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February–August 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Mile6 provided a schedule to keep us on track and noted the deadlines we needed to hit to launch the site. They also implemented a Google tracking sheet to track our content update needs on every page.

How did Mile6 perform from a project management standpoint?

Despite how busy we were during the project, Mile6 kept us on track. We were delayed a bit due to our schedules, but they adjusted their timeline to keep the project moving forward. Our primary form of communication was email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mile6 was well-organized, managed the project effectively, and maintained open communication via email and phone.
