## Portfolio & Awards

### University of Louisville Website
The University of Louisville (UofL) is on a mission to not only grow its student body, but to modernize the ways they support and connect with students by focusing on their digital experience. With a new president at the helm and strategic goals for centralization, UofL knew they needed to overhaul their vast and fragmented web infrastructure. Their digital landscape, spanning hundreds of disconnected sites, was not serving the needs of students or the university itself. This was a collaboration born right on time, and we couldn’t wait to start our work together. The challenge was clear: consolidate, streamline, and create a more user-friendly digital experience that reflects UofL’s strategic goals.
Our partnership with the University of Louisville began with a comprehensive analysis of their existing web environment, which led to a strategic roadmap for improving the user experience (UX) and information architecture (IA). It set the tone for the first phase of our work together—focused on research, foundational improvements, and delivering tangible results that will transform their online presence for years to come.

### Bipartisan Policy Center Website Redesign
The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) is a Washington, DC-based think tank that actively fosters bipartisanship by combining the best ideas from both parties to promote health, security, and opportunity for all Americans. BPC partnered with Mighty Citizen to improve its website’s user experience, branding, and information architecture.

The redesign has allowed The Bipartisan Policy Center to successfully work towards its organizational goals while supporting leaders, advocates, and elected officials who represent both sides of the political spectrum in their efforts to get things done.

### Language Connects Foundation Website Design
Language Connects Foundation partnered with Mighty Citizen to launch their new foundation. We started at ground zero, beginning with user research, visual design, website copywriting, and finally, their new website. As a philanthropic brand with a mission to champion language education to create deeper connections, this association needed a website that reflected its vibrant, and diverse goals for language educators.

### AOSSM Website Redesign
What’s black, white, and read all over? The new AOSSM website, of course, thanks to a complete overhaul by the Mighty Citizen team.  With an outdated website that didn’t reflect the prestige of the association, AOSSM sought to create a modern, user-friendly, and accessible website essential to delivering a high-quality experience and one that reflects their values, standards, and commitment to excellence. This impressive project included a new mainframe, 100+ pages of rewritten content, a complete reorganization of content including calendars, research, and educational sections as well as multiple user sign-in portals. AOSSM’s new site is now a modern, functional, and useful home for all the incredible health professionals who advance the field of sports medicine.

### Auburn University: Harbert College of Business
The Harbert College of Business has, for years, been transforming how the world thinks about business. Quietly, from their modern classrooms on their gorgeous campus, Harbert is inventing business knowledge and theory and their graduates thrive in their careers at a record-setting rate. Every would-be business student in the country deserves to know about the Harbert College of Business.
Mighty Citizen helped make sure they do.

### American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
Our clients partner with us because of pain. The particular pain they’re feeling—e.g., a website that looks terrible on cell phones, drooping metrics in Google Analytics, an outdated identity, etc.—finally becomes too acute to ignore. They go looking for a cure, and we’re here to help.
AANP’s particular pain was content abundance.
As an enormous organization that is advocating for Nurse Practitioners on countless fronts, AANP has a lot to say. They generate and curate news every day. It’s a lot to govern. Over the years, the old website had grown bloated and ineffective. It simply wasn’t designed to handle everything that AANP does.

More than anything, AANP needed expert advice on how to make sense of their content.

### Texas Health and Human Services: Navigate Life Texas
Until NavigateLifeTexas.org launched in the summer of 2015, parents of children with disabilities or special health-care needs didn't have a reliable online home. Nothing remotely like this website existed.
Now it does. Navigate Life Texas—overseen by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission—is the only website of its kind in the U.S.: a comprehensive, birth-to-adulthood guide for families with children with disabilities. It's written for these parents by these parents.

### University of Texas: Texas Global
In 2019, the International Office at The University of Texas at Austin rebranded itself and became Texas Global. This was more than a new name; it was a new brand that reflected an expanded purpose. Texas Global would become the university’s liaison to the rest of the planet.
Texas Global hired Mighty Citizen to completely reimagine their website. They asked for a design and experience that would tell their growing story, elegantly handle tons of content, and let people from around the world perform critical tasks.

### Every Body Texas
Every Body Texas supports providers of sexual and reproductive healthcare in Texas by administering Title X funding and delivering innovative training and technical assistance. They aim to ensure that every person in Texas has access to safe, unbiased, and high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare—regardless of identity or income.
Mighty Citizen does too.

### AAVSB RACEtrack Product Launch
One of the AAVSB’s latest innovations is a program named “RACEtrack™,” which performs two key functions:
Veterinarians and veterinary technicians can easily track their continuing education (CE) hours—i.e., the annual classes they have to take to maintain their license
The AAVSB Member Boards can easily audit people who are applying for a veterinary license—i.e., see if the applicant has the required CE hours
It’s a potentially disruptive technology—in the truest and best sense of the term—and it arrived loaded with advantages. Chief among these is the fact that RACEtrack is an extension of the RACE™program, which has for years been AAVSB’s most well-known offering (in fact, more people know of RACE than the AAVSB itself).
A great new technology? Linked to a well-known existing technology? Seems like a marketing cake-walk! Except here’s the thing: RACEtrack does something new, something all its own. It may be linked to a popular program but it is fundamentally different. If RACEtrack weren’t launched wisely, it could easily get dismissed as “some random feature announcement.”
Our RACEtrack campaign aimed to establish an identity that perched neatly between (a) the trust the industry already has for the RACE program, and (b) something different enough to be noticeable and usable for a long time.
We then built a product marketing campaign for RACEtrack. It comprised a multi-channel approach, including social media advertising, print advertising, email marketing, and partner-based promotion. Within the campaign, we tested the use of QR codes, bit.ly short links, and organic content.

That means distributing nutritious food to nearly every neighborhood in Silicon Valley, leveraging every available food resource, and collaborating with organizations and people who share our belief that hunger is unacceptable. Nutritious food is the foundation for a healthy, productive life.
