Following that the company carried out a/b testing on every change mechanism in the campaign and perfected the ad after a 3 week period, and seeing a 400% increase in ROI, we knew we were on the right track.

Before finding Megaphone, I tried several approaches, including hiring freelancers, an expensive agency, and managing the advertising myself. The problem is that freelancers weren't committed to the long term needs of the brand. The agency burned through cash with little to no results.
Frustrated, I tried to manage the advertising myself, but that was exhausting and not sustainable. If my company was going to make it, we needed an excellent marketing company.

Megaphone sets up the ads, test the audiences and adjusts them accordingly. They do it all, even provide the content for things like sale banners and competition announcements. Thats been nice too because they really take into account my branding and brand voice and make sure its all in line.

I work closely with Pariss who is my account manager. She does it all for me! Occasionally we discuss with others but Pariss is consistently my contact and account manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Recently we were hit with coronavirus, which of course I panicked as we didn't know what would happen. My factory is in China and was closed for a few months Jan - March so we couldnt get stock. This meant online store was really low, and rather than focus on getting sales Pariss decided to do a competition, spend our budget on that to capture emails for when we did have stock again.
I have never seen anything like it - we are at 4 x our usual daily online sales goals, 93% of daily traffic is coming from the competition and those signing up are not only joining our lists and following all our social channels - but they are actively purchasing too. Our ad ROAS for last month was over 12x which was phenomenal.
So for the month of May we decided to increase ad spend by nearly double and we are still consistly seeing 10x ROAS and its only May 15. This is far beyond my expectation, especially during coronavirus when I thought we'd be declining in sales, we have literally doubled in business! Thanks to Megaphone!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective, good and consistent communication between Pariss and my small team. We just communicate by email and phone, but Pariss is always super responsive and gets back to us quickly!
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I found the results to be incredible, the amount they've grown my business is amazing. I find it a really personal service, Pariss feels more like an extension of my in-house team and a friend. I know she genuinely loves the product and cares about the success of the brand so trust what she recommends for us.

The goal was to increase SRC Health product sales online, both domestically and internationally.

How did you select this vendor?
I searched for digital / social agencies online and compiled a list. This was based on both the types of clients they worked with, the quality of their testimonials / results, perceived culture and initial responsiveness to the brief. After all how you are treated during this period is indicative of the future.
Speking to their current clients who were happy to provide a refrence, their willingness to learn about our industry and become an extension of our team were a standout factor that made the choice easier as was their commitment to show us a positive result within the initial 6 week period.

The initial scope and the accountability / KPI component was focused on producing positive results from Facebook advertising domestically within a 6 week period after which we would commit to a long term relationship.
What was the team composition?
We've always had one or 2 account managers depending on the demand on resources at the time. When the regular account manager went on holidays we had a great replacement that was briefed and new our business well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We had significant results from the first month of working with Megaphone and have had great results ever since. The international success took a while via Facebook advertising due to our brand not having the feet on the ground and stockists and lack of brand awareness in the market.

We have great communication process: everything is documented in our Project Management toll - Trello and we speak at least a few times a week, if not daily depending on the campaigns and projects we are working on. The Megaphone team is always available.

Their knowledge of all the areas of specialty in digital marketing. I'm impressed by their willingness to continually test and aim for improvements and willingness to understand our business and customer needs.

As an agency they probably don't promote themselves and how great they are enough - but that's likely because they are too busy doing what they do - grow their clients businesses.

We were extremely keen to build our online sales via digital marketing. After a couple of years trying to teach myself about traffic, audiences and FB advertising (wasting valuable time and money) I realised we had to outsource our entire digital strategy if we were going to hit the heights we wanted.

We employed Megaphone at the end of our bricks and mortar retail lease. We were moving entirely online and needed sales from our site to increase drastically from mediocre to substantial very quickly. But we wanted to build the strategy in a solid ongoing form so that it would become dependable revenue over the months and years ahead.

How did you select this vendor?
As any small business operator will tell you, there is a plethora of parasitic businesses circling and preying at any given time. Most cold call emails are deleted in a flash and after 27 years running our own show we are incredibly sceptical of anyone selling their services to us.
Megaphone's initial approach was a little different and Ally wrote a warm email inviting us to make contact. First of all I rang their clients who had recorded testimonials - all sincere and glowing. We then visited their South Yarra office and knew that the team, work ethic, thirst for knowledge and genuine interest in building their clients' online profiles would be a perfect fit for our business.

Megaphone presented us with a digital strategy at our first meeting. They had done their research and had ideas for target audiences and how they would market to them at each stage of the digital funnel.
