What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Matrix Integration’s services are excellent. We haven’t encountered any problems, and it’s been a smooth experience all the way around.

Through the new phone system they set up, we can now access our office phones from our cell phones whenever we need to.

They’ve delivered on time and within budget. We communicate with them through email, phone calls, and our internal software system.

I’m the administrative director for a boat parts manufacturer. We sell parts to boat manufacturers and have a manufacturing plant based in Indiana.

What challenge were you trying to address with Matrix Integration?

The office section of our plant had internet, but the rest of our factory didn’t. Since we were trying to modernize our processes, we needed to install internet throughout the plant.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Matrix Integration wired everything to install the Wi-Fi in our entire plant. Initially, I reached out, and a project manager responded to me. We had a call with her and my IT person on-site. The project manager walked us through the process of working with them and then sent recap emails. She made a lot of notes about their understanding of our needs; she understood exactly what we needed to do.

After we spoke to the project manager, we had another call with the technical person who would do the on-site installation and my IT person. The four of us sat on a call, but the technical people mostly spoke about everything that needed to be done.

They made a plan together on how to proceed. Then, the technical person came on-site for a site survey; they looked at the place to give us an accurate quote. After they came and gave us the quote, we agreed to it and set a date for the installation.

On that day, Matrix Integration’s team came. They weren’t sure if it’d take 1–2 days, but they did everything in one day.

We were mainly in touch with the project manager and technical person. The project manager’s official title was client solution coordinator.

Additionally, we spoke with one person on their administrative team for the payment.

We worked with them from April–May 2024. We finished the project last week, in early May.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We wanted somebody professional who could do the installation promptly and wouldn’t leave our place messy. Matrix Integration was very professional and timely. They organized all the wiring into a panel so that our IT team could access everything happening and troubleshoot from a distance. The headquarters has access to all the metrics there, and Matrix Integration did that perfectly well.

How did Matrix Integration perform from a project management standpoint?

They stayed on budget and met deadlines. The team organized everything and made it nice and neat. We communicated through emails and phone calls.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I’d like to highlight the client solution coordinator and the installation person; he was wonderful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were quick and professional, and their communication was above average. Matrix Integration was willing to explore different solutions; they weren’t picky about what we wanted. If we needed some extra material to be installed, they didn’t care if we bought it or they bought it. They were open to any solution that benefited us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we were completely happy. We don’t have anything negative to say.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We’d hire Matrix Integration again for any IT-related project we need. If somebody is considering them, I’d say they should contact them; they do an excellent job.

Matrix Integration has helped our company be scalable. We can easily add new users and manage our phone system via a network and customer portals. For instance, when an employee gets sick or if we need to move a phone, I can manage that in the portal.

Initially, we contacted Matrix Integration and met in person to go over our needs and what we were looking for. They submitted a quote, and we decided to move forward.

From there, we had a couple of meetings before the installation. Matrix Integration ensured we had everything in place before they arrived on site. Then, they spent a couple of days going through the installation process.

Additionally, we had a couple of follow-up issues, and they handled them. Some of the maintenance was remote, and some was on-site.

Customers now have a better experience when they call because we have information preloaded into the system. If someone needs basic information, they don’t have to wait for a representative.

Moreover, the system reduced the number of calls for basic questions. The productivity in the call center area increased by 35% because we didn’t put people on hold.

They delivered the work on time and within budget. We communicated through phone calls, emails, and some meetings.

We needed someone to provide managed IT services. We lacked technical expertise in-house and an innovative foresight into the future.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve engaged Matrix Integration as a managed service provider (MSP) to help broaden our IT breadth. Since they had already provided some work for us in the past, they were already familiar with our infrastructure. However, we provided them with documents about our systems and applications during the onboarding process. We also provided examples of our disaster recovery plan, a list of our active directory users, and a list of our servers, virtual hosts, desktop computers, wireless networks, and so on.

Matrix Integration reviewed those documents, and we discussed the onboarding process and what the collaboration would look like moving forward.

We have a primary account advocate as our face-to-face contact. We also have an administrator as our technical advocate and a support center leader; he was responsible for completing all onboarding tasks behind the scenes.

From previous experience, we knew Matrix Integration delivered on time and within budget. Matrix Integration has taken much of the workload off of our internal IT resources. We’ve also improved our security posture and upgraded our current infrastructure with their help. We continue to see benefits, and they meet our expectations.

They deliver on time and within budget. Moreover, communication is good; our face-to-face interaction with our account advocate is the best thing about working with them.

They have high-skilled engineers, and the team has no problems fixing complex issues. In fact, Matrix Integration can tackle problems that might not fall under their umbrella.

No, I can’t think of anything. If you get the luxury of working with them, you will discover how good they are.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• I am in the middle of multiple projects and Matrix has done a great job at sending reminders to ensure the project continues to run smoothly. Since we are a school, they have also sent materials for the project to the school so it will be readily available during the summer. They have also done a great job at working around our school's schedule to prevent disruption to everyday activities.

Project management has been fantastic so far. They continually update on status changes and always include everyone in e-mails, preventing me from having to have duplicate conversations. They have also sent materials to be stored at the school to help ensure ready accessibility once the school is done for the summer. They have been very flexible with working around the school's schedule.

They have done an amazing job at working with us. Due to budgets, and needing approval from higher ups, we have missed some deadlines for quoted pricing. Matrix went above and beyond to revise the quotes and ensure they were comparable to the original.

So far, Matrix has done a perfect job on their end and all of the hiccups have been caused by issues on our end.

What challenge were you trying to address with Matrix Integration?

We had poor communication with our previous IT management company; they were more responsive than proactive.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Matrix Integration has taken over our IT services. They handle an all-inclusive IT management system and provide consulting, implementation, reviews, security, management, and storage services. Matrix Integration monitors our equipment, checks our security and backup, and maintains our licensing and software.

We can submit tickets and have immediate responses and support when we have an issue with a computer or file. When we need them urgently, they come to our office. Otherwise, we schedule quarterly meetings with them.

Recently, they’ve reviewed our switches and security backups. We initially did a discovery phase, and tomorrow we’ll have the final live meeting to complete that process. Matrix Integration has also purchased Sentinel. They finished the installation last week.

I don’t know the number of people in our designated team. We have an engineer that acts as a client advocate.

They were a referral. My husband works for a local school administration, and their IT department works with Matrix Integration. He was pleased with their services, so he recommended them. We did some exploration and found out they were a great fit.

We started talking to them in January 2023, and our contract went into effect in March 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve definitely seen a decrease in downtime, and our network speed hasn’t been affected. Moreover, Matrix Integration’s response time to tickets is outstanding. We haven’t submitted many, but the ones that we submitted were addressed within the hour and solved the same day. Our previous service provider took months; we’re 100% more satisfied with Matrix Integration.

How did Matrix Integration perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve had several meetings with them and a couple of on-site visits. Matrix Integration has purchased some equipment, and they’ve been very transparent. Our management team shares how much they want to spend, and Matrix Integration provides several options. They immediately send invoices and schedule the on-site visits to install the equipment. Overall, the team has excellent follow-through; they stick to the budget, show up on time, and take care of what needs to be done.

We use ticket management tools, but other than that, it’s easier for us to communicate via email. Additionally, we’ve made some phone calls.

They’ve far exceeded our expectations. We’re extremely happy with them.

After a breach in our cloud-based system, Chad and Desiree first helped bolster our website security and email filtering. Once we were confident that we were safer through two-factor authentication and changed website settings, most of our problems were handled through the helpdesk.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our credit card information has not been used by anyone outside the organization since starting with Matrix. Our emails filter (some) spam now and our inboxes are cleaner. Our website was updated on the back end to have more current security protocols.

Items were delivered on time and regular progress checks were made to ensure that the work was being done as we had hoped. Any request for assistance was quickly met with support from at least one individual, if not more.
