I handle business development and marketing support for SpringDeck and Esperanza Ranch. Esperanza Ranch is primarily a wedding & corporate events venue across 50 acres.

For what projects/services did your company hire Matcha Design, and what were your goals?

We started all branding development, web design/development, print materials, photography, video production, and marketing efforts with Matcha Design. We've done many projects with Chris and Matcha Design and knew they would be able to deliver our vision. We needed a website that was highly visual, user friendly, and optimized for lead conversion.

How did you select Matcha Design and what were the deciding factors?

We've worked with Chris and Matcha Design for years. We will only turn to him for these services. He's one of the best we've worked with and a critical business partner when planning and executing a digital footprint.

We started meetings and concept discussions. Developed the brand identity then wire framing and content development to then concept reveals to then functional testing and then went live. Wordpress, Javascript, PHP, CSS, Keap for CRM, Schema, Acuity. Event tracking with Google Analytics

Chris Lo, Owner is our point person.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to book over 160 events this year. We have booking through November of 2022. Much of this success is due to our web presence and search results on Google.

Tools are email, web conferencing, live in person meetings, text...etc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Matcha Design doesn't just deliver outcomes. They were a critical and strategic partner throughout the entire process. Very knowledgable!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing and no one is perfect but I can't think of an area that's weak or needs improvement.

Matcha Design’s highly personal approach created a stunning and effective design for each of the three projects I worked with them on: a re-branding logo and website for a nonprofit organization, a personal professional website and a logo design for a High School program. As a freelance marketing content/copywriter I was tasked with sourcing a designer to develop a brochure along with my copy for one of my clients.

For what projects/services did your company hire Matcha Design?

As I developed concepts and copy for the project, Matcha was incredibly responsive and creative answering with creative design choices that complimented our needs.

What were your goals for this project?

I needed a modern, disruptive, yet tactful new look for a technical brochure... that was also eye catching and easy for a general audience to read.

Having worked on projects for clients using Matcha Design before, I was confident in their capability and wholly aligned with the company's integrity and dedication.

Matcha was provided with copy and vauge design concepts, along with needs/goals of each section of the brochure. Through multiple revisions with all parties, Matcha delivered a superior product I was proud to present to my end-client.

What was the team composition?

I worked directly with Chris, passing up content and direction from my client. Chris then presented me with revisions for me to bring to my client for discussion and approval.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The finished brochure presents the technical information and content in a visually stunning way that is both leagues ahead of (my client's) local competition and enjoyed by the end-customers who read them. (My client) continues to reference the quality and effectiveness of the design.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Using any/all communication methods that I preferred, Matcha Design was incredibly responsive and quick with updates and revisions. Moreover, the questions/concerns brought up by Matcha were intelligent and useful; showing their level of dedication/investment in their clients/work.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

More than providing a superior product, Matcha's care for their clients' success yields new solutions to issues or aspects of a project that might have gone overlooked by other Design shops who were merely meeting quota.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None that I can think of. Matcha Design is actively immersed in the design field and it shows. Their approach considers both the B2B side of core design work as well as end-user aesthetics in the eyes of general audiences.
