Despite clear milestones outlined in the agreement, including a functioning build, verifiable commits in a shared GitHub repository, and visible progress on the PingPal app, none were completed or shared.

My own tracking of milestones and repeated written requests for tangible updates showed zero verifiable progress over a four-week period. The only responses received were explanations for delays, rather than evidence of advancement. As a result, the project did not reach any measurable stage of success or completion.

Project management was poor and inconsistent. After full payment, communication quickly became irregular, with shifting timelines and vague updates that rarely addressed the agreed-upon milestones. Their responses were often delayed, brief, and non-specific, citing illness, unexpected travel, or heavy workloads. At no point did they provide measurable progress or evidence of active development. As a client, I made every effort to stay patient and collaborative, but my needs for clarity, transparency, and accountability were not met. No deliverables were completed on time or at all.

Marrix Power could improve by strengthening transparency and accountability across their development process. Communication should be consistent, with clear updates, verifiable progress, and client access to the active code repository as outlined in agreements.

Equally important, they should avoid accepting new projects or full payment unless they have the bandwidth to manage the workload. If delays are expected, transparency about timing and capacity would be far more professional than accepting a project and going silent.

They would also benefit from accurately representing their business registration and location, maintaining clear project management practices, and following milestone-based structures tied to tangible deliverables. Better workload management and honest communication would go a long way toward rebuilding client trust.

Unfortunately, my experience with Marrix Power has been deeply disappointing and has led to significant concerns over their business practices and commitment to client satisfaction. After engaging with them for a project that involved a substantial upfront payment of €920, the service delivery fell remarkably short of the agreed terms. 
Key issues encountered include: 

• Access Problems: Initially promised access to a Slack workspace for project communication was hindered, which severely affected the flow of information and progress tracking. 
• Premature Project Termination: Without any prior warning or discussion, Marrix Power unilaterally decided to terminate the project, citing "communication dynamics" as the reason. This abrupt decision left the project incomplete, without delivering the full scope of services I paid for. 
• Lack of Transparency and Justification for Charges: Despite the project not being completed as per the agreed terms, Marrix Power insists that all payments and obligations on their part have been settled, without providing a detailed breakdown of work done for the €920 payment or any tangible deliverables. 
• Unresponsive to Requests for Refund: Attempts to engage with Marrix Power for a fair resolution, including requests for a refund for the undelivered services, have been met with silence, further indicating a disregard for client satisfaction and post-service support. 

In conclusion, my experience highlights a concerning lack of accountability and professionalism from Marrix Power. The premature termination of the project, coupled with their unwillingness to provide a detailed account of the services rendered for the payment received or to discuss a refund, has been particularly troubling. I would caution potential clients to consider these serious issues before engaging with Marrix Power for design, software development, or digital marketing services. It's unfortunate to have to write such a review, but I believe it's important to share my experience so that others can make informed decisions.

My initial interaction with Andrew (representing Marrix Power) began through the freelance platform Fiverr, where I outlined the scope of a software development project I needed assistance with. Andrew expressed full confidence in his ability to complete the project as described.

Shortly after, Andrew suggested we proceed outside of Fiverr to avoid platform fees and asked that I pay him directly via PayPal. Trusting his professionalism, I agreed and made an upfront payment for a portion of the total cost.

Over the course of several weeks, I repeatedly followed up for progress updates, often having to chase Andrew through multiple messages. After significant delays and inconsistent communication, he eventually stated that the project was not possible to complete as originally discussed — a clear contradiction to his initial assurances.

Despite this, he later informed me that he would withhold any of the current work done unless I paid the full remaining amount — even though the work completed was neither aligned with the original scope nor functional.

To date, I have received no deliverables whatsoever, and Andrew has retained my payment without providing any tangible services or results. I have documented communication showing:

His request to move outside the Fiverr platform
Repeated delays
Admission that the project could not be completed as expected
His refusal to provide even partial work unless paid in full
This interaction has caused both financial loss and significant time wasted.

No deliverables were provided — I did not receive any working code, documentation, or functional assets.
No milestones were met — There were no clearly completed phases or versions of the project delivered for review or feedback.
Communication was inconsistent, and updates were vague, with repeated delays and shifting explanations.
Eventually, I was told the project was not technically possible, contradicting earlier assurances, and the developer refused to release any partial work unless full payment was made — despite the work not aligning with the original scope.
As such, no tangible or verifiable progress was made on the agreed-upon scope of work. I’m happy to share communication logs and messages that document this sequence in more detail, if helpful.

Ultimately, I was told that the original scope of the project was not achievable — despite it being confidently accepted at the start — and no viable alternatives or solutions were offered.

Unfortunately, the experience that followed did not reflect that initial professionalism.

Yes, there are several areas where Marrix Power could significantly improve:

Transparent Project Scoping:
Before accepting the project, the team should have conducted a realistic technical assessment to ensure they could deliver what was promised. Accepting a project and later stating it was not possible undermines trust.

Structured Project Management:
Clear timelines, defined milestones, and regular progress updates are essential. There was no formal project plan or measurable check-ins, which led to confusion and delays.

Communication & Accountability:
Timely, proactive communication is critical in any client relationship. Requiring the client to repeatedly chase for updates reflects poor responsiveness. Deleting messages and shifting explanations further eroded confidence.

Deliverables & Payment Ethics:
Withholding work that was partially done — especially when it deviated from the agreed scope — and requesting full payment before delivery is not acceptable. Work should be delivered incrementally and tied to milestone payments.

Legal & Business Transparency:
Representing the company as being based in Canada while being legally registered in Ukraine raised red flags. Greater transparency about business registration, location, and legal representation is necessary, especially when handling international payments.

Had these issues been handled differently, the outcome could have been far more constructive.
