Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Implemented an automated Quote-to-Cash solution by extending HubSpot through workflow automation, custom middleware development, and QuickBooks API integration. 

The solution automates quote acceptance through invoice generation, payment collection in HubSpot, and accounting sync with QuickBooks. 

The implementation includes: HubSpot workflow automation, custom middleware development, HubSpot API integration, QuickBooks API integration, business logic implementation (within HubSpot workflows & custom middleware), webhook-based event processing, and end-to-end system integration. 

HubSpot will act as the operational system of record for Quotes, Contracts, Invoices and Payments. While QuickBooks will serve as the accounting system of record.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The clearest measurable outcome is time and cash flow. Before this integration, invoicing depended on me remembering to create it, then manually re-entering it in QuickBooks and double-checking the numbers matched. That's gone now. Every quote in HubSpot Commerce Hub automatically becomes a contract, an invoice, and a payment request, and it all syncs to QuickBooks without me touching it, so my accountant has accurate, real-time data without me doing double entry. 

Two concrete results: invoices go out the moment a quote is signed instead of whenever I get to it, which means payment comes in faster. And I've eliminated the risk of a forgotten or delayed invoice, which used to happen when the process depended on me remembering to do it manually.

Their project management was excellent. They delivered ahead of schedule, everything moved even faster than I expected going in. Communication was constant and easy, we worked through Slack, and any question or adjustment I raised got a quick response. I never had to chase them for updates or wonder where things stood. Overall, I'm very satisfied with how the project was run.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was their depth of knowledge combined with how fast they moved. This wasn't a simple integration, syncing HubSpot Commerce Hub with QuickBooks so quotes, contracts, invoicing, and payment all flow through automatically, and they clearly understood both platforms well enough to execute it without a lot of back and forth or trial and error. They knew what they were doing and got it done fast.

Created custom line item properties for Quantity, Term, and Partner Discount in HubSpot.

Built the base structure for the custom-coded quote template using HubL, HTML, and CSS inside HubSpot CMS.

Created a well-structured, accurate, and professional quote template within the HubSpot CRM, adhering to both functional and visual standards.

Implemented conditional display logic for discount columns in quote templates.

Implemented automation to update deal and report line items when a quote is published. Confirmed real-time updates of deal amount without needing custom properties.
