• PPC management - Markestic owned the paid media strategy across our priority channels such as Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads, including campaign build, ongoing optimization, audience and creative testing, and weekly performance reviews. The KPI was MQL and SQL volume against plan.
• Digital marketing measurement - They handled GA4 maintenance, conversion tracking, and offline event implementation, including ad-hoc fixes when our stack changed.
• Reporting - They developed a detailed, automated reporting dashboard through which we can monitor all the channels split by geolocations, subgeos, countries, campaign types and many more.
• CMP implementation - They scoped and implemented our consent management platform end-to-end, including documentation we could hand to internal stakeholders.
• Graphic design - Display and social ad creative production for our paid campaigns, in line with our brand guidelines.
• Conversion rate optimization - Landing page audits, hypothesis-driven testing, and recommendations that are fed back into the paid funnel.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our first two months together were below expectations on MQL delivery though the centrally set targets were quite high, with results turning around in March 2025. Q2 was on plan. Q3 2025 was a bit weaker quarter - we missed some of the targets, however, we had open conversations about why and what to change. Their proactive response to that quarter was the reason we were willing to continue and strengthen the partnership: they did not get defensive, they reset and tested a few new approaches, and Q4 stabilized. Q1 2026 was our strongest period together, with a 95% lead completion rate against the plan. Beyond the headline numbers, they delivered a clean GA4 and tracking setup we could trust, a fully implemented CMP, an automated reporting dashboard, a tested landing page program, and a steady stream of campaign creative that kept the funnel running without us having to chase.

We had a clear weekly rhythm, transparent reporting, and a Slack-speed response time when something urgent came up. Deadlines were met, and when they could not be, we always knew it in advance, the reasons and the bottlenecks behind, and how to tackle them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Two things. Firstly, the amount of proactive thinking they brought to the account - we very rarely had to ask for ideas, they were already on the table. Secondly, energy. Even in the harder quarters, the team showed up willing to dig in and try something new rather than coast on what was already approved.

• Goals and objectives are manifold - typically target ROAS (return on ad spend), target CPO (cost per order). They constantly optimize the ad campaigns towards the set goals - in most cases they outperform them. If not, communication is transparent, next steps are set and campaigns are adjusted accordingly.
• We have been successfully working together with Markestic for many years - mostly related to eCommerce projects. As our partner, they manage PPC campaigns and measurement projects on our Clients’ behalf.

End-to-end paid advertising (typically: Google, Facebook, TikTok, Bing, LinkedIn) from planning to design, copy-writing, setup and optimization supported by solid and automated reporting to follow the KPIs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. We typically request a full service solution where KPIs are set together but the marketing mix to bring the best possible results is up to Markestic and they cover all the necessary, related elements.

• Outcomes and deliverables differ from project to project. One certain example that could be considered a great and quick success is a growth rate in ROAS by 340 percentage points within 1.5 months.

They are structured and well-documented. Timing was never an issue. Bottlenecks and unforeseen events always happen in business life, however, whenever they face something unexpected, they openly communicate and proactively handle the circumstances.

The Samlerhuset Group is one of Europe's largest coin companies. First established in Norway in 1994, it has expanded into 15 different markets within Europe. We offer coins, medals, banknotes and other collectibles to people interested in the world of numismatics. I am the Group Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist, overseeing group-level CRO projects, supporting growth of each market, directly reporting to Samlerhuset’s Group Director.

Initially, we hired Markestic to create, manage and optimize online ads for our Hungarian branch. After months of successful collaboration, we decided to move forward with expanding the cooperation to Northern-European markets such as Norway, Sweden, Denmark or Finland. After this step, the cooperation started to grow organically with more and more markets hiring Markestic to help with their paid online presence. From 2020, digital marketing measurement and reporting automation were launched as additional services. Starting from 2021, Markestic works with all Samlerhuset markets, in case of 12 out of the 15 as an exclusive PPC agency.

Markestic got referred to us with very good reviews. They fully lived up to their promises and outperformed our expectations firstly at Facebook Ads Management, later on at other channels, too (Google Ads, etc.). Over the years, our cooperation got more and more integrated and expanded to other markets. As of now, Markestic manages PPC campaigns in all our markets - all in all in 15 countries. Numbers don't lie. Give them a try. Really professional team with a very high standard of services, always available and willing to help, and also fun to work with.

PPC management - Markestic’s responsibility includes creating PPC campaign strategies for all markets they work with that they test, evaluate and optimize based on their findings. Sharing group-level best practices and explaining new features are also part of their work.

Digital marketing measurement - Planning and executing measurement projects, such as Google Analytics 4 and enhanced e-commerce implementations.

Here is our suggestion: I currently work closely with Markestic’s general manager and a project manager. On a group level though, there are 3 additional PPC managers who run and optimize campaigns for all our markets.

Digital harmonization for the group: GA4 implementation for all markets. Enhanced Ecommerce implementation for all markets.

Reporting automation: Automated PPC performance reports for all markets. Automated group overview report where 14 markets’ data is being fetched.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Ever since I took my position as a link between our internal collegaues and the Markestic accounts, we paid special attention to setting up a communication routine that means added value to all local ecommerce managers. Thanks to this mutual intention and the work behind, workflow is very smooth.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What really impressed me was the professionality of anyone I ever got in touch with regarding our cooperation, as well as the open-minded, positive, friendly attitude of them. Even though we work with niche products, they always show real interest and willingness to understand our business. They are a perfect combination of expertise and client-focused behaviour.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

I could not highlight anything particular. In case of any tiny sign of dissatispfaction or ambiguity, we always managed to reach out to each other immediately and find the best solution for the given issue.

Ongoing PPC management for Szallas.hu with great results in general. We review the campaign results on a weekly basis, and the campaigns’ performance always meets our targets and KPIs.
