3 beautifully produced videos, all in different styles, that perfectly represent our brand and the high-quality nature of our handcrafted designs.

Mango Media couldn't have been easier to work with.  They always delivered on the timeframes given and no request was too much trouble.  One particular shot was weather and sunrise dependant, and the team were happy to check in each day and monitor the weather until we had perfect conditions to get the right shot.

Mango Media's team is passionate about what they do, and it really shows! They were excited about the project and no request was too much trouble.  They were so nice to deal with on the days that we were shooting and made everyone in the videos feel at ease.

Their communication was excellent and they always delivered on the timeframes given.  The final videos are so beautiful and we have received really positive feedback from our customers who have viewed them.

No! We were so happy with the whole project.

I was the office manager and executive assistant to the CEO of a medical technology company that helps people with heart failure.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mango Media Productions?

We needed someone to take headshots of the team and create a storyboard of the different team members with the photographs. We wanted to use the headshots for board presentations, email signatures, LinkedIn profiles, and other things.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mango Media Productions provided corporate photography focused on headshots. During a headshot event, the team set up different lighting tents in a large area to take photographs of people, depending on what worked best for them. The team has also taken the shots in the main halls.

Mango Media Productions has also sent links for us to select which photos we prefer. The team has also edited the selected ones and sent them in print format and square ones for different channels. We regularly have new people coming on board, so we use Mango Media regularly.

I worked with three people from Mango Media Productions, including a creative director, a photographer, and the CEO.

How did you come to work with Mango Media Productions?

I had seen Mango Media Productions working with other companies in the area. I reached out to the team to see if they could do headshots for us. They were already doing a headshot event, so we went down on the day they were set up.

We've spent less than €5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The first headshot event took place in March 2024, and the engagement is ongoing. However, I no longer work for the company.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've done a lot of other changes on the website, so we haven't seen any specific increase in visits as a result of the new photos. However, everybody has been happier with the overall appearance of the website. When we've sent bios for presentations at conferences, the comments have been that everything looked professional. We also feel it is more professional.

How did Mango Media Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

Mango Media Productions has been very professional. We've had to change a couple of times, and the team has been very accommodating. We've communicated via email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mango Media Productions is a really friendly team that delivers quality. The team is super friendly and easy to work with, especially Roberto.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for Mango Media Productions to improve. We use another company for our website development and corporate videos, but I’ve always been saying to our CEO that we should give Mango Media Productions the next time we do it.

I recommend having everything in writing and agreeing on what you need. Have everything agreed upon in writing as a starting point.

The scope of work included pre-production planning, scripting support, on-site filming with professional equipment, and post-production editing. Key deliverables were the final polished video, interview transcripts, and social media-ready clips for promotional use.

The measurable outcomes included successful completion and delivery of the final corporate videos on time and within budget, positive feedback from internal stakeholders, and high engagement metrics on digital platforms, such as increased views, shares, and watch time. Additionally, the video enhanced the company’s professional image and helped communicate expert insights effectively to the target audience.

The project management was highly efficient and responsive. Despite the last-minute nature of the project, the team quickly understood our needs and moved fast to put everything in place. Communication was clear and timely throughout, and all deliverables were met on schedule. Their ability to adapt and turn things around so quickly was particularly impressive, ensuring the success of the project under tight deadlines.

What stood out most about Mango Media was their ability to deliver high quality content within such a tight timeframe as well as the quality of their work. Their responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to maintain top tier production quality under pressure was really impressive and sets them apart from other companies.

Honestly, everything was perfect. Mango Media exceeded expectations in every aspect of the project. Their professionalism, speed, and quality of work left nothing to be improved.

No measureables as of yet. Though feedback on the end result has been remarkably high. Both internally and externally. We're very happy with the work Mango has produced.

Yes. Mango Media was extremely punctual and accommodating at every stage from Pre Production > Filming > Post Production. They communicated well and have been excellent partners.

Level of accessibility, communication and a willingness to collaberate. Along with the quality of work and professionalism on the day of the shoot itself, Mango have gone above and beyond on this project. Sean, MD, has been constantly available in relation to the organisation of the project whilst Roberto and Sam were tremendous during filming and editing. An well oiled team in every regard.

I’m the brand marketing manager at Bord na Móna, a waste management company serving domestic residential customers and commercial businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mango Media?
We were introducing a new, innovative product to the market: a commercial compactor. We were looking for a way to feature this product on our website and across several different online platforms, including LinkedIn.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired Mango Media to produce a video that describes and explains the features of our product. We started the engagement with an initial brainstorming session, where they were quick to suggest ideas to make the video stand out and ensure that it aligns with our brand in key areas. We gave them a rough skeleton version of our vision for the video. Based on that, they worked on a storyboard and script, shared them with us, and led a collaborative brainstorming session on the different pieces and shots for the video.

They provided us with a list of everything that they were going to film as well as a detailed schedule for the day of the shoot. They put together lists of the certain actors we needed at different points of the day as well as guides for the location we were shooting in. They also provided all of the equipment we needed for the shoot, including the lighting, drone footage trolleys, and segways, which they used to capture motion shots. They also handled the setup for everything.

What is the team composition?
I worked with 4–5 people from Mango Media, including Sean (Managing Director), my main point of contact and the project manager, Robbie (Creative Director), and a video editor. Robbie led the creative direction on the day of the shoot, along with other people in the background, and the video editor handled the editing and created graphics for the video.

How did you come to work with Mango Media?
We found Mango Media through an online search. We approached them and five other video production companies and shared our loose, tentative in-house idea of what we wanted to be covered in the video. We wanted a company that could lead the project in terms of what should be shot and how everything should be done and presented, and we believed Mango Media was the right partner for that.

We ultimately chose them for this project because they impressed us in our initial call with their ideas and how quickly they understood our product and industry.

How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $6,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on this project from May–July 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Mango Media brought our vision to life. They did an excellent job of taking our complex product and showcasing it in a way that is understandable to our target audience. Our industry is not very fun, but they made the video glamorous and engaging. They even threw in motion graphics for free, which made the video stand out and look more modern and high-end.

We only completed the final round of edits a week or two ago, so we don’t have any quantitative metrics yet to see how the video has performed compared to our budget or if there has been any uptake in sales. The video is on our website, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and we plan on using it on our Facebook and Instagram pages as well.

How did Mango Media perform from a project management standpoint?
Mango Media performed well in terms of project management. They were incredibly organized from start to finish and provided detailed timelines for everything. They even made a schedule of everything I needed to do on my end and when the tasks needed to be completed to ensure that the project went according to plan.

We had a couple of meetings at the onset and then one every two weeks after that, but we didn’t meet in person until the actual day of the shoot. We primarily communicated through Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?
Mango Media’s sheer energy, creativity, and enthusiasm were unlike any other media company I worked with. They were young, dynamic, engaged, and full of fresh ideas on how to bring our vision to life. They genuinely made us feel that they cared about our product and wanted it to succeed by taking the time to understand it and performing extensive research.

They were full of fresh, creative ideas, which really separated them from any kind of video production company I've worked with in the past. They presented ideas for locations and ways to shoot and present things so different than mine, which was quite traditional. They’re definitely an ideas business, and I can’t recommend them enough.

Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can't think of anything they could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Going into the project with an open mindset and avoiding locking yourself down to your initial idea for the final product will lead to a better project, as it did for us. I am someone who can be quite stubborn or stuck in my ideas at times, so I was almost fixed in my mindset about what I wanted from this project and what I wanted it to look like. 

However, as their engagement, enthusiasm, and ideas started coming through, I completely loosened up and realized they were the professionals in their industry, and I was not.

We were launching a new recruitment agency and had been in operation for a couple of months. We wanted to post video and branding content to get our name out there across different social media platforms. We hired Mango Media to work with us on the video's development and execution and the message we wanted to get across.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mango Media produced two videos for our company. We initially met with the team a couple of times to discuss project management, logistics, and the storyboard and define the end-to-end service provided. Mango Media produced a corporate video for our landing page and created different versions for our social media channels. The team also produced a separate outtake video used on our social media platforms. 

Mango Media provided the filming equipment and was responsible for editing and postproduction. Mango Media helped with general advertising, predominantly across LinkedIn.

We worked with Mango Media from September 2023–February 2024. Although this project has concluded, we're in early discussions about working with Mango Media on future content.

Mango Media's videos led to increases in our views and clicks, meeting our desired measures. The outtake video performed very well.

Mango Media performed very well regarding project management. We communicated through Gmail, WhatsApp, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We found that Mango Media was very easy to work with. The team understood what we wanted and guided us in executing our vision. Mango Media was happy to take our feedback onboard, and we relied on their expertise. We were happy with the team's approach. In particular, Sean (Managing Director) was easy to work with and ensured a seamless process.

I can't speak of any areas for improvement for Mango Media.

I recommend working with Mango Media because they're very creative. If you have a clear concept, the team will bring it to life. Equally, if you don't have a defined idea, Mango Media can propose ideas. The team came up with alternative ideas we didn't use in the end, but we had other options if needed.

I’m the senior youth participation officer for Foróige. We work with young people to ensure they have opportunities and that their voices are heard in terms of policymaking in Ireland. We give recommendations to the government for policies that affect the youth.

We were holding an event focused on the climate and wanted to have a record of the day, so we engaged Mango Media. We wanted to capture the experiences and discussions of the day and post the pieces on social media to share the experiences of the youth who came to the assembly.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially briefed Mango Media on what we hoped to achieve during the event. We then met with them to discuss our values and goals as an organization. From there, they were responsible for producing the video and capturing the event's vox pop. 

They interacted with professionals, staff, and government ministers, but the most important part of their tasks was interacting with young people during the event. The assembly was held in a government department building, and that was where they did the filming.

Mango Media went above and beyond. We received great content, which we’d use across our organization. Overall, the team met all of our expectations.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Sean was truly easy to work with, and he made the experience simple for us. He made the process clear and engaging. On top of that, all of the other teammates were great. When filming young people, it was crucial that we didn’t get in their faces too much — we had to give them space. The Mango Media team was excellent at doing that while keeping an eye on how the youth was coping during the event.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mango Media was great at highlighting various things during the event. They were clear in describing what we should be doing, so I was happy with them.

No, there weren’t any.

Put a bit of thought into your real goals before you contact Mango Media. That way, you’re making the best use of your time; you won’t waste time trying to figure out what you want after starting the process. A bit of planning from your side will be brilliant. On top of that, be clear about your budget and what exactly you want to get out of it.

They have a quick turnaround time. When we’re pressed for time, they can deliver within a couple of weeks. They also have a great line of communication all the time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re personable and friendly, and their resources do everything we ask. Even when I give them a big request, they simply do it.

Instead of giving us all the images back, they could select the images that they give us back after the postproduction process. We’ve never used some of the images that they’ve given us.

Set aside enough time to go through the images Mango Media gives back because this takes time.

We worked with Mango Media to create a series of 10 short videos for social media to celebrate and promote cycling as part of Bike Week 2023. These videos included a range of different cyclists on different types of bikes sharing their stories for why they cycle in Dublin. The key deliverable was to create videos that profiling these different users along with profiling cycling infrastructure in Dublin. We were delighted with the work that Mango Media produced.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome was 10 engaging videos for use on social media that shared positive stories about cycling with great shots of Dublin city. These videos received over 170000 views on social media and were very well received online. We've had requests for Mango Media's contact details based on these videos from people who would like to work with them.

Everything we requested was delivered on time and to a very high standard. Communication throughout the process was very smooth and they were extremely responsive to any queries or needs we had along the way, as well as being very friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with.
