Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for Weiss and Company, and we are a boutique CPA firm. I’ve been with the company for 11 years and handle most of the day to day operations of the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Managed Solutions?

Their team handles all of the IT for our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We purchase our new computers with them, and they handle any software needs that we have as well as managing our off-site backups and servers.

What is the team composition?

Usually, we are assigned one tech who serves as our main point of contact, and that person has changed over the years. We also have a couple different people who handle quotes for different solutions and customer relations management and that sort of thing.

How did you come to work with Managed Solutions?

Their team was already working with us when I joined the company, but I believe we found them online and decided that they were a good fit for us from early conversations.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend about $30,000–$40,000 a year with them, so we’ve probably invested a total of about $500,000 over the years.

What is the status of this engagement?

They have worked with us for about 15 years, starting around 2005 and continuing today.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Managed Solutions has provided an excellent level of service to us over the years. We rarely have any problems with our infrastructure or physical hardware, and when we do, they are extremely quick to get those issues taken care of. We’ve even had breakdowns on tax deadline days, and they took it completely in stride and got us back up and running like it was nothing.

How did Managed Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team is absolutely amazing. We can expect a response from them almost immediately whenever anything comes up, and they’ve been able to save us a lot of money over the years so we consider our investment with them to be entirely worth the money.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve stuck with them for so long in large part because of their specialization in computers. A lot of other companies try to be jack-of-all-trades and end up letting things slip through the cracks as a result, where Managed Solutions never does.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly don’t think there’s anything they could be doing better. We’ve had a fantastic experience.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. They will never belittle you or make your questions feel small, which is something I really appreciate and that makes it really easy to work with them.
