I'm an Auditor at a management consulting firm and we audit clients from various industries.

We hired MAM Corporate Solutions to help us prepare financial statements for our clients as they needed assistance to prepare their financial statements.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

They are qualified chartered accountants with a wide range of international experience which made us decide to proceed with them.

Describe the engagement and overall scope of work in detail, including the stages of the partnership and any software or documents used.

We initially provided them with all the source documents in order to prepare the financial statements. They helped us to implement Xero which is cloud-based accounting software and computerize our accounting process.

They charged 50% in advance upon signing their service agreement and the remaining 50% once the work has been completed.

How many resources from the firm's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were mainly working with Abdullah who is a Senior Associate at MAM Corporate Solutions. However, even Asif the CEO took his time weekly to update us on the process and advise us on certain accounting treatments.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the engagement or general feedback about the services?

They were able to implement Xero and record all the transactions for the year ended 31 December 2020 within 30 days. We have also started invoicing using Xero which makes it easier to track our receivables which was a major problem previously.

They keep on sending us regular updates and they are always available to answer any of our queries regarding accounting and tax in Indonesia. We also have a WhatsApp group for easier communication which is very convenient for us.

They were very professional, and they were able to deliver what they have committed to us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They really exceeded my expectations considering our previous experience working with other local vendors.

We had initial discussion over WhatsApp and we decides to take the services of MAM Corporate Solutions because they demonstrated sound understanding of the local rules and regulations. They provided very useful information about business activities in Indonesia and what are the restrictions for foreigners in Indonesia.

The project was simple. We incorporated a Foreign Investment Company. Initially a quotation & service agreement was sent to us by Abdullah. We did not sign the quotation initially because we had few questions to clarify. We had two calls on Google Meet to clarify all our questions. We signed the service agreement in March 2017 and the company incorporation took around 3 weeks.

My team included myself and my partner who is also a shareholder in the company.

We are happy with the service provided by MAM Corporate Solutions. We have already established business in Indonesia.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

One of the best thing about MAM Corporate Solutions is that the team could fluently speak and understand English. Before contacting MAM Corporate Solutions, we had approached few other service providers but due to difficulty in communication we did not proceed with them.

Communication with MAM Corporate Solutions was very easy and flexible. We created a WhatsApp group and all our communication was done on WhatsApp for ease and speed. All our formal communication was through emails.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are impressed by the willingness of MAM Corporate Solutions team to answer our questions at any time. We received responses very fast.
