Can you describe the scope of their involvement in this project?

MAGNETIC Creative is responsible for the monthly creation and management of social media content for three core brands. They also create and manage brand awareness campaigns for the above-mentioned brands, both online and in-store. The team has also worked on brand revamps, including logo design, packaging updates, brand CIs, and broader brand strategies for five brands. Additionally, they provide ongoing packaging design for NPDs and other design requirements, including POSM, product catalogs, trade support materials, and branded merchandise.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen improvements in our social media engagement rate, reach, as well as general brand awareness. The brand revamps across all five brands have been well received and have drastically elevated the status of the products on the shelf and in consumers’ minds. We’ve also seen improvements in market share, and sales out of the till.

How did MAGNETIC Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

They have strong project management skills. Although they don’t always have the quickest turnaround times, they do deliver on time based on the timelines agreed and provide high-quality work. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps. Due to their location in relation to our Head Office, in-person meetings are limited.

We’re impressed with their ability to encapsulate the brands' essence and reimagine it for a more modern consumer.

They developed a “blanket” brand and communication strategy for Jumbo Brands, which included crafting a brand architecture for our entire portfolio. This phase also involved the creation of marketing collateral, initially focusing on our two primary brands, Enrista and Boston, along with their respective product ranges. The outcomes of this phase not only set the foundation for effective brand management across the Jumbo Brands portfolio but also significantly enhanced our speed to market, success rates, and reduced risk for future product launches, acting as a key enabler for product innovation.
Phase 2 is a retained based service ring fencing our team to support the ongoing marketing needs of Jumbo Brands. Our team will function as your own in house marketing team, supporting your NPD initiatives, brand management, marketing and sales team support. This proposal outlines
all the services we are anticipating to be an ongoing requirement.

• We have seen great success since partnering with Magnetic! We have been able to scale our paid media spend more than 100% while maintaining efficiencies. Our email campaigns are far more successful than we had seen with our old setup. They've helped us increase CTRs, open rates, and general visibility across the board.

We had weekly meetings with the account manager to ensure that we are always aligned on projects. Worked incredibly closely with the creative team. The workflow was always smooth and timeous.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are extremely thorough with project strategies, budgets, and reaching key marketing objectives. Plus their creative studio will absolutely wow you with the efficiency and execution of all video and still content. As a full turn key agency, BOS is reaping the rewards of having a fully optemised digital funnel which means our consumers all over the world are eager to engage with us. The lack of an Amazon expert in the initiation phase was a small problem but this has been rectified .

A full rebrand which included a new logo, new brand guidelines, strategy, visual identity and advertising.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Research and discovery phase determined our KPIs and goals. They worked on the overall creative, messaging and brand DNA. This included a brand workshop and a brand DNA presentation. Next, they worked on a communication strategy and corporate identity, including audience archetypes, a CI manual, and overall design. They also developed all website content, design and development for the website.

What was the team composition?

We worked with their Art Director, Account Executive, Brand Strategist, and even CEO who were all heavily involved and exhibited their passion for the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have had positive comments about our website from other web agencies as well as people from our own industry. Internally, everyone is happy with the rebranding and excited about the next era for our company.

Regular emails which were always responded to in a timely manner. We also had weekly status updates in the form of phone calls or emails, as we preferred.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Strategy was top-notch. They took the extra mile to really understand the competitive landscape and develop a unique proposition. The film they developed was also beautifully made and they were very particular about having it perfect. In fact, we had approved it when they asked us to go back to make a few more amendments to improve it.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

More flexibility with regards to our tight budget.
