Our previous software team was a single inhouse employee, he took a different career path and we were left high & dry so we decided to find a team that could better support our needs more reliably.  The dev team was able to meet our goals in developing an entirely new invoicing system that allows us to run reports, track customer data, create & pay invoices, store payment information, manage users, and connect with our merchant processor.  This team was very responsive, worked quickly, and was available for phone calls when needed.  I set out the vision for what I wanted, they would provide feedback and sometimes provide their own ideas on how to implement that vision, sometimes I took their advice and other times I chose to do it my way.  My best advice to anyone when developing software with a team is to be flexible with implementation of your vision.  Some ideas are extremely difficult to execute (time & money cost) but if you have a good dev team they will suggest alternative implementation methods to help streamline things.  It's also best to try to have your vision as complete as possible as to avoid changes during the development process.  Overall I highly rate this team and continue to rely on them for future updates and monthly support.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Keeping to commitments.  I have worked with many ded teams and it is all too common that companies talk big but under deliver or deliver a product that is a buggy mess.  On launch we had a few minor bugs and the dev team was on top of it extremely quickly.  I felt like the cared about my project.
