I am a freelance photographer based in Montreal, Canada.

I needed to rebuild my website to upgrade the user experience, responsivity and overall design and aesthetics.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to redesign so that the users on my website have a better over experience on my website, so that they generate more leads and potential sales.

We had a reunion a few weeks before the project so that I could set up objectives for my website, and choose a general layout for the new website. Then everything was made through email and chat exchanges to ask for feedback and needed information to rebuild the website.

As a freelance, I was the sole contact for Mad-Web.Ca to provide the services for my company.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The result is that the website is more responsive and better looking than it ever was. I got positive feedback from people in my entourage, but it's still too soon to know if there's a significant difference in sales. However, it's still a success regardless.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Again, I am the sole contact for my photography business. However, the workflow with Mad-Web.Ca was efficient, and their team was really listening to my concerns, answering to my questions quickly, and it gave me the confidence to leave it to their expertise without meddling too much.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The user friendliness in general, and the expertise. Sometimes I thought I knew the best solution for my website, but Mad-Web.Ca would always try and find a better one.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not that I can think of right now. The service was fast, and the results exceeded my expectations!

I’m the general manager and owner of International Nannies and Homecare.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mad-Web.Ca?

I was hoping to find a professional web designer to design a website for me.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mehdi (Founder, Mad-Web.Ca) designed my website and has since done several websites for me for different companies. He designed all the websites from scratch. I provided some information, but a lot of the final details came through regular calls and discussions with him. He was always trying to find the best solution. They are all WordPress sites.

The first project has ended, but we continue to work together. We have a bigger project coming up.

What is the team composition?

I only worked with Mehdi.

How did you come to work with Mad-Web.Ca?

I found him online on a site where you can post and sell things.

How much have you invested with him?

We’ve spent $10,000 Canadian (about $7,600 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2018 and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very happy with him. He is always professional, available, and trying to find the best possible solution even though I sometimes didn’t even know it myself. He really immersed himself in my business. He gets what we’re doing and it’s been really good. We work well together.

He finished one of the bigger websites a few months ago. The biggest benefit is that it’s a much smoother process and requires less labor because it’s a very automated process.

How did Mad-Web.Ca perform from a project management standpoint?

His project management is really good. I’m not very organized and he really helped me with that. I had an idea for one of the websites in my mind, but I couldn’t really put it down because it has a lot of different processes in place, so he helped with that. We worked in an agile process and communicated via email and Skype. He came out in June to visit some friends and he came to my office and worked here for a few days.

What did you find most impressive about him?

They’re very professional and really tries to adapt to what we need. They’re really good to work with.

Are there any areas he could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have him improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Call him and explain your project. He’ll do his best to accommodate.
