I’m a director at a web3 technology company. We provide custom technology solutions for different companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lunka?

We needed help with offshore staffing. We were looking for resources with specific skill sets who could help us develop solutions for our customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lunka provides us with development services on two different models. On the one hand, they provide us with full-time offshore staff members on a contract basis. These resources regularly support frontend and mobile app development using web-based technologies. We also have some backend developers and demo specialists to help with those sides of projects when required.

On the other hand, we work with Lunka on a project basis. Whenever a customer comes with a specific project that requires a specific skill set that we don’t normally have in-house, we approach Lunka to see if they can provide talent to tackle that specific project.

We’ve worked with them on a variety of projects related to mobile app development, backend development, platform solutions, DevOps, and CI/CD lifecycle processes. We’ve also worked on traditional web apps, crypto apps, and other projects using NFTs.

We work directly with Jared (Founder & CEO).

How did you come to work with Lunka?

Jared contacted one of our directors via LinkedIn. At the time, Lunka was just a startup, so when we had our first conversation, we noticed that they were young, passionate, and really interested in working with us. When we discussed our collaboration further, they excelled at breaking down projects, asking questions, and getting to know more about their involvement.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent over £100,000 (approximately $118,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We met them in April 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Lunka is very good at what they do. Whenever they deliver code, we review it, and it is always great. We’ve never gotten any complaints from clients about the products we deliver. Additionally, whenever we find any issues, they fix them in a timely manner.

Our engagement with Lunka has expanded over time, and we’ve developed a very good working relationship. Their way of working blends really well into how we operate, which is why we continue working with them.

How did Lunka perform from a project management standpoint?

Lunka’s overall communication is great; it is very easy to get a hold of them, and their response time is excellent. Additionally, they’re always on time and deliver great products.

We manage the full-time resources ourselves but also have a direct line contact from Lunka to whom these resources can talk. This person does a great job managing, assisting, and helping the team. For example, if we assign these resources a task and they don’t fully understand it, they can consult with the rest of Lunka’s team to get a jump start.

As for the one-off projects, we meet with Lunka to discuss project timelines, deliverables, and targets to ensure everyone is on the same page before signing the contract. We use Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Bitbucket to manage projects, and we communicate via Telegram and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Lunka’s team is as young as us, so our businesses are going on the same pathway, and we’re both growing at the same time. Therefore, their most impressive asset is that they have the same drive as us, and they always want to do their best. They always build projects to scale and spend time ensuring they deliver robust products.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. Considering the circumstances they’re going through due to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, the fact that they can manage work as well as they do is impressive.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open about your projects and ask them as many questions as possible.

 We needed help with mobile app development, web portal development, and infrastructure setup.

What was the scope of their involvement?

 Lunka has developed our full application from scratch. The team has been responsible for iOS and Android mobile app development, web app development, infrastructure setup, and design.

 We’ve worked with four teammates from Lunka. Their CEO was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Lunka?

 We found them through an online search. We chose them because their CEO was directly in touch with us and gave us confidence that he could not only deliver but also support the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

 We started working together in May 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

 Lunka has delivered a production-ready live software with solid documentation. We’re already onboarding clients on our platform, and we’ve onboarded more than 50 clients in just three weeks.

How did Lunka perform from a project management standpoint?

 Lunka has delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

 Lunka’s solid work ethic, minimal need for supervision, and good documentation are impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

 Their testing could be better, but everything has been good overall.

I knew Jared for quite some time and I saw he is a serious person.
