I’m the co-founder and co-CEO of a writing agency. We specialize in organic social media content, copywriting, and feature writing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Lovage Inc?

We hired Lovage Inc to develop a new website for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lovage Inc helped us choose a creative direction by creating a framework and a mockup for our website. We needed the site to be customizable, so we could update it frequently. It was developed on Wix.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people from Lovage Inc in total: their CEO, an account manager, and another member who was in charge of the technical work.

How did you come to work with Lovage Inc?

We used to be collaborators for a previous client.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project ran from January–February 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Lovage Inc created a website that upgraded our overall brand. It’s a site that we’re proud of and we would want to share with other people. Even the ones who already saw it agreed that it was a product that emulated our brand well.

How did Lovage Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

We used tools such as Google Meet and Hangouts to communicate with Lovage Inc, apart from exchanging emails. They developed the site within a specific timeline that they shared with us through a spreadsheet. 

Lovage Inc presented us with suggestions that were carefully based on their expertise. They predictably met deadlines and set up meetings that allowed us to plan ahead in terms of project management. We had enough time to put the project together in a concise way.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Within the predictability of how they managed the whole project was their team’s creativity. They really captured who we were as a company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At the beginning of the process, it was a little overwhelming because there was too much information being given to us too quickly. They could slow down that pace in the future so that people could catch up with their process better. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They should be ready and have all their ducks in a row. If they have any branding, language, or photography assignment that they need to get together, they should do so before signing the contract. That way, it would be easier for them to proceed without being stressed about deadlines.

We selected them from a competitive bidding process and chose them on the basis of credentials, client reference, how impressive their CEO is and the cost they quoted.

Using Wix, Loveage designed and implemented new website from scratch. They had a tight and organized project plan and clear process that made things go very smoothly. They were responsive to my feedback and goals throughout.

3 people. Web designer, project designer and input from CEO.
