I'm the Data Science Manager at Tillage, an online Agricultural produce wholesale market.

Loft was tasked with developing our online trade platform which allows farmer to post their produce online.

How did you select Loft and what were the deciding factors?

They responded to call for proposals, and their proposal and interviews impressed us.

The product is a web app which allows farmers and businesses to sign in and posts their quanities and specifications of agriculture products and interested businesses may order online.

How many people from the Loft team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with One designer, Two back end developers and Two front-end developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The website is launched on https://tillage.io/ and the traffic and Google presence surprised us, and we have onboarded 12,000 suppliers so far.

They documented their expected timelines and beat the deadlines, and involved us in design decisions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We appreciate Loft's hands-on approach as well as their ability not only to contribute to the website development but as well as the business development of the whole project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Since they delivered early, we found a hard time integrating the market intelligence platform which we out sourced from another agency.

Mobicast is a digital advertising agency in Uganda, we specialise in digital ad boards as well as retargetting services. I am the head of operations.

Our website was not as responsive as we hoped it would be, we therefore needed a more dymanic and responsive site to increase and mainaain traffic.

How did you select Loft Uganda and what were the deciding factors?

We ran a search on website development agencies in Uganda and loft Uganda apperaed among the top sites, this showed they were well optimised. Th team is alos diversific and open to new ideas and this made our work seamless

We wanteda highly visual website in either PHP or REACT. The website was supposed to have a Whatsapp contact button, geo tags fro all digital board locations as well as an admin panel.

4 people 'The team lead, The head of design, the CTO as well as the legal advisor.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have a hoghly visual website and pur traffic has moved up by about 30% from the launch date.

We had weekly review meetings with our account manager as well access to a repository on GitHub, we also used emails for constant updates as well as Whatsapp.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their services are very affordable, and they are very dynamic to change, which made the work easier.
