I am the founder of an online education platform teaching everyday people how to safely and successfully create wealth with cryptocurrencies.

For what projects/services did your company hire LMSNinjas?

The website was designed 4 years ago and didn't match the company branding very well. It needed a better look, better user interface, and better user experience.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

For a couple of years I had searched the internet for a web designer/developer that had the specific expertise required; Wordpress, BuddyBoss, LearnDash, and custom coding. This company was one of the few that had the skills my website needed.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After a series of discovery meetings to discuss my goals, I received 3 initial designs for the home page. Once I selected the design with a new branding theme, the vendor developed the pages in Wordpress using Elementor. The vendor then provided designs for all my other web pages including an updated About Us page and courses page and developed them as well.

In total, I worked with 5 people including a

• and QA technical resource during the final phase.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their designs were beautiful and user-friendly. We continue to hear positive feedback and compliments from visitors. Additionally, the copywriting was most effective and site traffic has increased by 50-60%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provide frequent updates. We had several Zoom meetings and phone calls but most feedback was through Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was blown away by their team’s knowledge of all aspects of web design and development for an online membership-based elearning website. I appreciated their attention to detail and thoroughness. I’ve worked with other developers in the past, but this was a very collaborative and positive experience.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Things could always be done faster, but quality is more important than speed and I ended up with a beautiful, effective product.

We are an early stage education start-up offering college students and recent graduates resources on the topics they need to know in life but never learned in school.

For what projects/services did your company hire LMSNinjas, and what were your goals?

Our goal as a company is to be the go-to educational resource for college students across the country. We were looking to build out a product that has a really fun, gamified, active learning experience for young people to learn about all the things they need to know in life but never learn in school. When we first contacted LMSNinjas we had just had something custom built for us to test out the business idea and determined we needed something more robust, so we approached LMSNinjas to build the first version of our product.

SOLUTION

How did you select LMSNinjas and what were the deciding factors?

What we really needed with this initial build was a partner that could accomplish all our product requirements and deliver in a quick and flexible format. We wanted to get something done in a matter of weeks and we also wanted to work with a team that was able to adapt the designs that we had built into something that fit the product, which requires a lot of customization.

We had out of the box data and functionality that we really needed to be able to get, so that things could continue to stand up without extra work or budget required. We talked to other firms, but when speaking with them we didn’t trust that they would be able to complete the project. We found the front-end designs for other firms’ previous projects to be unimpressive.

As a startup, our finances were also limited so if we invested a lot of money in the wrong development firm we were going to be significantly affected. When we spoke to LMSNinjas we felt very strongly that the team had the expertise and we felt really at ease, like it was no problem to accomplish all the things that we wanted for our project.

We saw previous clients' projects and saw that they had really beautiful front-end design and that was very important to us since our target demo is so young. It was very easy to decide to work with them.

We were looking for features that we knew we could get access to in WordPress, but we needed a lot of help putting them together. Features we were looking for included SSO and LMS functionalities (courses, lessons, hierarchies).

We worked directly with the project manager Iryna, with whom we really enjoyed working. She is on top of everything and very attentive.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

From an impact standpoint, we went from 0 to 1 to some degree. We had nothing when we first started and now we have a full product that we are proud to put in front of users and investors, even if it is something we can’t fully measure. We got new users and saw a 25% improvement over the days following the launch. We have a product that meets all the requirements and needs.

The project moved very quickly and took about 4-5 weeks. The team went above and beyond to deliver the project very quickly, which was very impressive. As we’ve needed more and more features post-launch, the team has also been able to add them quickly.

Working with the LMSNinjas has been a very pleasant experience and the team was very responsive. Communication taking place on Slack has made the process easier and facilitated getting in touch. They have excellent client service.The team was very clear with answers and timelines. It’s been a very successful partnership.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Communication and responsiveness was great. We got clear answers for all our questions and the team was able to deliver on all our unique requirements. The team also came 20% under budget which is huge and awesome!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have a very unique project, so the team had to learn along with us and develop a type of project that they had never done before, which comes with growing pains. But, we think the team did a very good job!
