Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder and CEO of MyEpi - soon to be the worlds first social media developed to persons diagnosed with epilepsy and their relatives

For what projects/services did your company hire LittleGiants, and what were your goals?

Since MyEpi is a mobile application and I do not have the skills to develop apps, I chose to find the most qualified people to take care of this activity. This was where i found LittleGiants and so far I could not be more satisfied with their work.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

When I chose people to be a part of MyEpi's journey I look for skilled, hardworking, passionated, ambitious and kind people. This were I discovered LittleGiants and the main reasons why I chose to work together with the team behind this company.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

When we started working together I already had a functional app developed by a previous software developer. It can be very difficult to take over an already developed app and enhance it from this point, but they have done it really good and without any complaints.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The team behind LittleGiant consists of 4 partners who their skills combined is capable of developing a company. When we started working together I got a software engineer connected to developing the software behind the app and an UI/UX designer to take care of the visual identity. Meanwhile, the 2 other partners help with taking care of the economy and business development.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within few months we were able to launch the beta-version of MyEpi. Now we are working towards changing the focus of the app, which require a new setup of the app-project. I am sure that this will go very well.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

I am working close together with both the project manager as well as the software developer in terms of keeping me up to date with how far we are with developing x feature and whether we are following the plan. This way of working and communication is something I value very much.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In terms of developing the app, the technology they use is high quality. Furthermore I am really impressed with their focus on structuring the app project in relation to maintaining focus on reaching deadlines.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In generel, I actually don't have anything negative to say. They are really honest and transparent. If they e.g. are experiencing unexpected problems/issues which results in them not maintaining deadlines, they do not give bad excuses or hide it. This I do really appreciate.
