Lit Studio has been helping us revise our website's design to make iterations based on a brief we've given them. Their work has included doing wireframe drafts, implementing their designs using Webflow to put them live immediately, and giving us a brief on how to use the site so we can modify it by ourselves.

We started working together in March 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're delighted with Lit Studio's deliverables, which have met our expectations and are up to our taste. We've given them pretty fuzzy requirements as we're not designers, and still, they've been able to upgrade our website to a look and feel that's appropriate for a startup at our stage. Their team has been doing a great job synthesizing what we need by interpreting our needs.

How did Lit Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Lit Studio's team is responsive; they're quick at getting back to us whenever we ask them for something. Regarding tools and communication, we use Slack and Asana.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Lit Studio's craftsmanship of the entire website, design, and structure is extremely professional. I've worked with designers in the past and seen mediocre work, so I'm really impressed by the quality of Lit Studio's work. They know how to use their tools, and they know their craft.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they tried upselling me a little too hard when I was already sold, but I'd do the same.

Having a strong communication channel and providing early and clear feedback is really helpful.

Our website had been created and recreated 3x. Realizing that we needed something much more robust than our previous amateur website design and branding, we decided to find a team of professionals to rally around our vision and carry it out better than we could imagine so that we could attract consumers and engage them in a way that they could easily understand.

We looked for a web designer via Upwork. We looked through hundreds of proposals and could not find anyone that we were satisfied with. That was until, by chance, we stumbled upon Lit Studio. We looked at their past work, compared it against our vision, and realized that they had the experience to bring to life everything we wanted and more.

After a few discovery meetings to discuss our vision, target market, goals, etc., step-by-step Lit Studio helped us to clarify and built on that vision by email and text based recaps, using design collaborative tools like Figma, and of course, WP staged development.

The amazing thing about Lit Studio is that you often communicate with one person to avoid any confusion or overwhelm.That one point of contact then communicates the entirety of your project to the expanded team and you literally can watch as they carry out the vision flawlessly.

Our platform that connects with the website is not complete therefore we have not been able to go live yet, however when we are live, I cannot wait to come back with metrics and other details!

We had an outdated and inflexible website built on the Wix platform. Litnevski Studio developed a modern WordPress website that reflects the agency's diverse services and updated our company logo as part of our rebranding process.

The decision we made to support and help the people of Ukraine during this difficult time led us to search online for design and development studios in Ukraine. We chose Litnevski Studio based on their past projects, design skills and cost estimate.

We had four meetings to discuss the target audience, the website style, the text content, and the logo, then two meetings to approve the website design and logo style, and then their team developed the WordPress site.

The project manager was my primary point of contact throughout the project. There were also two WordPress developers and a designer working behind the scenes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our clients love the updated design, and they now have a better understanding of our services. The website was launched a few days ago, so there aren't any measurable results yet.

The project manager maintained open communication at every stage. He kept us informed and consulted us to ensure that the website reflected our needs and wants. We used Google Meet and Slack.

They developed a clean, well-designed, and finely-tuned website for us.  Moreover, they were open for feedback and resolved all issues that were raised. The project manager has excellent interpersonal skills.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, they did a great job.

We wanted a modern and interactive website. Lit Studio offered us to create it in collaboration. From the very beginning to the end. So we had a kick-off meeting where I was shown the possibilities. After that we decided on a style and discussed the different steps for weeks. Lit Studio created, we discussed it, adjustments were made if necessary. So long, until the website was ready.

The project was just completed 2 weeks ago, so it's still early. But I can already say that the look & feel of the website is now 100% consistent with the VIICE VERSA brand.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I run the wine business part-time, which means I couldn't always give feedback as quickly as I'd like. On the part of Lit Studio, however, everything was top. Fast and professional.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The mix of expertise, as well as affability, was amazing! Serhii was a super professional and pleasant business partner. His team also works partly from Ukraine where the situation is extremely difficult at the moment. However, it has never affected the service, that impressed me very much.

Nothing comes to mind.

I’m the CEO of an online men’s health referral service. We provide men to acquire easier access to certain medications that aren’t generally covered by health insurance.

Since there’s no one handling this type of service online, we wanted to build a platform that would enable men to access medication that’s prescribed by their doctor.

I mainly work with the project manager, but I know he has other people in his team such as a developer and programmer.

I came across their company through Google. I saw some features on their website that seemed to fit what I was doing.

So far, we’ve spent about $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The ongoing partnership started in March 2021. We already finished the first stage of the development, but I’m still going to work with them on adding more features.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I specifically like how they developed the admin panel within the WordPress site, as well as the quality of the code they implement.

How did Litnevski Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m not familiar with the tools they use as developers, but I know they manage the project on Sigma.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re really impressed with their technical skills. I see a lot of nice transitions within the development, and they really implemented a lot of cool features.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are some small details that we wish to see in the next stage of the project. I want the functions in the frontend to match the functions we have on the backend.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would suggest building the content that you want to utilize on the website, so it’ll be easier for Litnevski Studio to implement.

I am the founder and CEO of Pesabase. A startup operating out of Nairobi, Kenya. We provide African’s with a cheap and social option to remit and pay for goods and services.

As my background is in I.T. Infrastructure(System Administration) as opposed to software, I needed a team that could help me with a quick design for both my website and mobile app and front-end work for my start-up. Litnevski Studio was the best candidate during my search.

I wanted a pleasing design and consistent brand colors across our different platforms and a finished front-end work for my back-end engineer to put together.

I searched among a list of them on upwork and noticed how high their ratings were at the time. I then interviewed him among other teams and his response and passion for design was evident.

The work required research and an understanding of both Blockchain and the payment landscape with African undertones. I worked with his team to come up with wireframes and the design output and front-end work was then totally his for both the mobile app and webapp.

Sergiy was the main lead(Project Manager), managing me as a client as well as discussing ideas and team design thinking.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design work was so impressive that a few of my colleagues in my network asked for his contact and he eventually went on to do work for them. As for Pesabase, it helped us get into Celocamp, a startup accelerator and stand out as a brand during Pitch events.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their team was clearly tight, they communicated well and responded to my discussions rapidly. Sergiy, their lead would often even getting me a meeting with any of the team mates if I had questions and wanted feedback. I ended up asking them to do extra work for me as a result, including a logo, media pack and powerpoint presentation design.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are simply the best design team I have ever worked with. 2 years on, I have gone on to hire developers locally in East Africa and even worked with some in Australia and I have to say, their attention to detail and their love of design itself shows in every work they did for us.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Frankly I got more value for money and even now I often can ask Sergiy as the lead a question or two regarding design. They can obviously work really fast if you want, but then it comes down to what you prefer, great work or faster work with less brilliance.
