Launch Implementation Engineers’ first Google Search program from scratch, reach engineering and operations leaders searching for consulting services, and build an account the in-house team could take over.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Built the first Google Search program from scratch, August to September 2024: keyword and competitor research, campaigns by service line (Industry 4.0, operations and manufacturing, supply chain, management consulting) plus a competitor campaign, ad copy, landing page assignments, conversion tracking with your web developer.
Ran it October to December: biweekly reports and calls, negative keywords, bid strategy changes, ad copy tests, a restructure around the core keywords. Handed it off in January 2025 with a training walkthrough and a written guide.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Cost per click fell 24% and click-through rate rose 31% after the first month of optimization. New ad copy lifted click-through rate by about a third in the core campaigns. Account handed to the in-house team with a training walkthrough.

Michael was responsive and always pretty reachable. Made it very clear what changed against baseline and when. Pretty direct and straightforward communications and explanations, which we appreciated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was nice having direct access to the person actually doing the work. From the outset, the goal was to create a system we could take and manage on our own.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Lighthouse Growth Consulting could have done differently?

Some of the early testing was comprehensive and probably better in the long run, but we were anxious to start scaling up the spend more quickly than we did. Once we had some results analyzed then we started to scale it up after a few weeks.
