The first project was to design and implement all our emails templates, from flight booking confirmation, hotels booking confirmation, esim booking confirmation, experiences booking confirmation to name a few. In essence, all communication that customers receive when they make a booking into our platform. The second project was to create a promotional video of about 50 secs that will be used to introduce our new feature to our customers. Amazingly, both projects were completed and delivered before the deadline.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Constant feedback, almost every 2-3 days. That made us be fully aware of the progression of the project. In addition, my CTO keep mentioning how knowledgeable and professional they were.

Both projects were delivered ahead of the estimated time. In fact, maybe we were quite surprised considering that the final result was way better than expected. We have worked work other agencies before, but they have exceeded our expectations!

I’m the client and management director for a third-party testing facility for compounding pharmacies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Striano?

We have an internal sample submission portal form for clients to use when sending products for testing. Striano is working on increasing the speed of that system and implementing upgrades.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we exchanged emails and participated in Teams meetings with Striano to discuss the project and our goals. Once our priorities were aligned, we started doing the work. 

Striano has since been working on improving our portal. They’re also going to offer ongoing maintenance of the portal and its features. 

What is the team composition?

My main contacts are Flavio (Founder & CEO) and Marco (Head of Product & Operations). Marco has a team of five people working on the project. 

How did you come to work with Striano?

Striano was a personal referral. One of our team members knew a company, which wasn’t able to help us but referred us to Striano. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in August 2022, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The speed of our portal has greatly improved and gone from 30–45 seconds to submit a sample down to less than two seconds. Striano has also added some tracking and reporting features that have been truly beneficial for our employees. 

Ultimately, this project has greatly increased the efficiency of our staff as they accept samples and go over submission forms. It has decreased the timeline in which we provide our product, which is a PDF file that we upload on a web platform. Moreover, it has helped us improve tracking and accountability within our team.

How did Striano perform from a project management standpoint?

Striano’s performance has been better than expected. They’re responsive no matter the type of communication. The team reaches out quickly and tries to provide assistance when necessary. Their communication is great for non-IT people; they translate what we need into the IT development language while allowing us to communicate back and forth with them.

On top of that, everything has been delivered on budget. Each sprint is clearly defined, and milestones are created. If they encounter any issues, they communicate them immediately instead of waiting until the next milestone or meeting. 

In other words, working with them has been great. They let us decide what to prioritize, and then we make the decision together as a team. Overall, they’ve executed the project perfectly. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing about Striano is their communication. They keep us in the loop at all times and are truly transparent about anything that comes up. The team has open communication, which is highly valuable for us. 

We’ve had a pretty great experience. They’ve explained everything to us, and everything has been as they said. There haven’t been any surprise charges or changes made without notifying us. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

On our end, I wish we had been a little bit more prepared. If I were to give anyone some advice, that would be to figure out exactly what you have and what you’re trying to do. Then, work with Striano to move toward that goal.

I’m the president and CEO of Kamino, a SaaS platform. We offer a financial-focused platform providing a pipeline for invoicing, among other functions.

What challenge were you trying to address with Striano?

We hired them to do development work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Striano does most of our platform’s development work. They’re responsible for gathering functional requirements, translating them into user stories, validating them with the business, and then moving them to production. The team uses .NET for core development and Microsoft Azure for hosting. Striano also offers QA services. 

The platform provides a SaaS pipeline and forecasting, enabling users to manage their profitability and cash flow. I’m involved in product design and am accountable for providing Striano with requirements. We’re also working on adding design work to the scope; they’ve done some design work already. 

What is the team composition?

The team has changed over time. Currently, we have a functional analyst, a QA resource, a frontend developer, and an infrastructure teammate from Striano. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $100,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around March 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to Striano, we can deliver on time while meeting requirements. Overall, the team has been successful in managing the development. 

How did Striano perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is about committing to their work, testing it correctly, and ensuring the team delivers against their promises, and Striano does that very well. We use Azure DevOps for project management and Microsoft Teams for communication. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What’s unique about Striano is their ability to manage the deliverables to ensure the requirements are met. Unlike other companies, they deliver what’s been scoped and do it very well. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing specific I’d like to see them improve.

You need the right team, which is key to a successful engagement. Therefore, ensure the team structure and role assignment are right.

We are an IT Company that gives infrastructure services to our customers, and integrate partners like striano to do different projects. I am the Director of the Company.

We have some customers that needed to update their webpages and services such as telemedicine or appointments. We hire Striano not only for this but also to the rebranding of the whole Organization.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A new branding, including texts, logo and webpage. A whole new segment for services, appointments and customer engage.

We first Started with Striano to set up with the client a scope on the change they wanted to make. After some sessions, we ended up customizing the entire webpage, go to market strategy and customer engagement for them.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They acted as a unified team with the customer and work closely on every step. They were accountable and very strict on each phase of the project.

We schedule weekly call, that was a set up for the weekly work and goals. This helps us work and redesign the organization if something happens. They have excellent communication skills that help the client express themselves and be understood by the team.

The way they help understand the needs. They not only hear the project but make suggestions and opinions that helps explore more the actual need.
