We needed a complete corporate identity for a start-up accountable care organization completed in a very short time. The challenge was to create an identity that was 'corporate enough' to attract sophisticated physicians while 'friendly enough' to fit the founder's style and vision. We also need some initial content created.

How did you select this vendor?

They were one of a handful of companies that we found online. We interviewed each of them and chose this one because we liked their portfolio, they were prompt in following up, and their price for the work was very reasonable.

Prior to finding a partner, we had done a 'Creative Brief' that provided some background information. Starting with that, we discussed ideas with them and they quickly produced a set of logo options that we thought fit the brand. One stood out to the founder, so we asked for a few variations of it and reached a decision in a very short time. From there, they quickly created the other aspects of the corporate identity, including letterhead and a .PPT template. The design quality was very good and they also worked with us to ensure that the designs were easily used by non-designers.

We worked directly with one person who I think was both the project manager and the designer. I don't know if others contributed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to quickly get into the market with an identity that 'worked' in the sense that we were able to use the identity in various materials to meet certain government milestones for the number of participating physicians.

There were a few web calls at the start, then communication shifted to emails. It was prompt and clear. The turnaround time was impressive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They delivered high-quality work as promised. They did a nice job of working from what we provided and added value. But, the most impressive thing was sticking with the 'last mile' items to resolve them in ways that made it easy for non-designers to use them day-to-day.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

During this project, they learned some things about how to translate good work done in the software designers use to make it easily usable by non-designers in Office365 software products. The next person who works with them will likely be the beneficiary of that learning.

We shortlisted a few freelancers and then decided to hire LF Agency because was very responsive and we loved their style (we checked their portfolio).

Activities performed:

• Logo design: they provided 3 options with different colours to choose from. They helped us to refine the search and then got the final result that we really love.
• Colour palette, font size, and colors.
• Favicon, and social media tools.
• Landing page design: we did not have a clear idea of how the landing page would be. They come out with a simple and catchy design that is really helpful for our concept.

We interacted with the founder of the agency. She is extremely responsive, amazing style and open to meetings to discuss the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They implemented the design on our website and we got a great service all included. We will begin the operations shortly, but the website its self is receiving a lot of clicks.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was really effective since we basically held a few quick meetings during which they proposed to us their ideas and quickly discussed together any modifications we needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their responsiveness, the availability to arrange some meetings, and their style/design. They were really creative and provided great value for money.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are so happy with their work that we will undoubtedly contact them for any future projects.
