Our goals were to develop a series of professional videos to share vital information regarding RMF automation on remediation, accreditation and compliance for new viewers to help them save on human resources and to win contracts.

I researched numerous video production companies from what we considered the best of each type of video production (Core vs Custom) animation from a budget perspective and brought the top 3 companies to the team to vet.

We wanted a custom video and we needed a lot of help with developing the storyboard and our demonstration. Levitate had the members on the team with the capacity to understand the complexities of explaining what we do.

I must say our process was I'm certain a bit unusual for a team like Levitate. In the beginning, we tried to establish a working plan to meet to develop the storyboard in order to get to the actual video production including visuals and moving animation.

We had a difficult time staying on our set timeline due to our daily demands and travel. Levitate helped us push through our inability to meet deadlines and see the project through. The team at Levitate accommodated our changes in timelines and valued our commitment to getting the project done right.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

We worked with one team member throughout the entire project on all three videos. We would set a timeline and deadline for the next steps and what we needed to accomplish on our end. The team member would check in regularly and do additional research, provide other ideas, etc.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have 3 professional videos as collateral and we use them at events, have them posted on all of our channels and live on our website. Each video drives traffic to our website through our digital marketing strategies.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent! We could not have had a better team member to assist us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were highly impressed with the knowledge and the ability our team member/Levitate team had to keep up focused and on schedule. It was a very collaborative approach and a rewarding experience.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We know we can always improve communication when it comes to collaborating on projects. If there is any way to expand upon and to better understand the process and what happens when one doesn't meet timelines.

We worked with Levitate to produce our Explainer Video and Video Tutorials, which included collaboration with their team to develop script and storyboards before final production of the video animation and voice over process. My role was Project Management, providing materials and feedback.

We worked with the Levitate Video team, which included their Project Manager who organized all of the work with their Scripting, Animation and Voice Over team. The storyboard would be presented to us for review and feedback until final approval.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are in a pre-launch stage of our software product and have been using the Explainer Video to share with interested parties and potential early stage customers, and have received very positive feedback upon viewing the video.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their Project Management team was great to work with, utilizing various software programs, Basecamp and Filestage, we were able to communicate, schedule and manage the process very efficiently.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were very impressed by the level of experienced professionals that were assigned to our project, including Project Managers, Animators, Voice Over and production professionals. They were able to quickly create work product based on our specifications and respond to our feedback.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We were very satisfied with the work process and the final work product.

Our goals for these two videos are to provide a background of our company for marketing purposes and to provide a demo of a new product we will soon be debuting.

How did you select this vendor?

We worked with Levitate on past video projects and were very pleased with the results. When we wanted to make a new series of videos, we knew immediately who we wanted to work with.

Once we contacted Levitate about creating videos, they reached out to us to understand the scope of the projects we had in mind. After two calls, they came back to us with a proposal and we began creating the first out of two videos. We then completed questionnaires for each video outlining our goals and ideas for the videos. We had a call to discuss, then scheduled a date for Levitate to come film. A few weeks later, a camera crew came to our office for a day of filming. It was very professional and we were extremely impressed. We're beginning the process of working on the second video now, and everything seems to be going well.

I don't have too much knowledge of Levitate's project management or feedback, but they are very helpful and responsive when we have questions or when we message them.

Project is still in progress, therefore we have not yet seen results.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow is very smooth. Levitate uses a platform that keeps all of the information relating to the project in one place. We can upload files, send each other notes, and communicate very specifically and very well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Levitate is very responsive and flexible. They are definitely helping us achieve the exact look and feel that we want for each video.

At this point, we can't see any areas of improvement, but we are still early on in the process.

The core of our program are 5 minute daily lessons delivered on our member site by video and audio. The videos are educational, geared to folks that are looking to get off the weight loss rollercoaster. We shot the videos in a small makeshift studio in our facility. We needed help in improving the overall quality on a tight budget.

We reached out to Levitate and they responded immediately. We sent them links to our videos. They reviewed them and provided excellent feedback and suggestions on how to significantly improve them with minimal cost.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They greatly improved our video quality. Our company has little experience in the video production. Levitate spoke in terms which were easily understandable and provided excellent and reasonable feedback on how to improve our production quality. We were extremely pleased with the outcome and their approach.

Excellent. They responded very quickly to our request and immediately reviewed our videos and provided excellent feedback within a matter of a couple of days.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The eagerness to really help us make a better product. They truly cared and offered tremendous insights. Very professional, approachable and made a complex process in our minds very simple.

I’m the director of customer relations for an importer of textiles. We sell in three markets: hospitality, land and sea, and healthcare.

We needed to educate the customers in our market, who typically make purchases based on price. We hired Levitate Video to create a series to dive into our product, explain why it’s worth spending more money, and displaying the overall value.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Levitate Video helped us create five videos for our series. We handled the scripting and content since the actual topics are complicated and specific to our industry. We gave them our ideas and images to reference for the first draft. Each of the videos is 90-seconds in length and animated. Currently, the videos are housed on one of our largest association’s websites, but we’re planning to start marketing the videos ourselves.

We interviewed several companies. Although I’m not sure of our exact decision-making process, it was a combination of the budget, their portfolio, and our comfort level.

We spent somewhere around $25,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement ran from November 2018–November 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The internal team was very happy with the final product. They captured what we wanted and all of the edits satisfied our teammates. 

How did Levitate Video perform from a project management standpoint?

They were pretty good at meeting deadlines. Typically, it was our end that stalled the project. When we were falling behind schedule, they were good at communicating with us. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

At the start, we were pretty overwhelmed because we hadn’t done a project like this before. Their ability to get us over any hurdles we had at the beginning was very impressive. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I can think of for them to improve; they were pretty good to work with. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Although other teams probably could have done just as well, the reason the project went so smoothly was because of Levitate Video’s guidance. It could have been a disaster since we didn’t fully know what we were doing, but it went well because of them.

All three videos have 90 second and 60 second versions explaining the concepts and functions of the software product modules. Levitate has a good process of script development, design and voice over decision making, story-boarding, production and delivery.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted something that clearly communicated our findings and told the story of the Community Caregiving Initiative and it's almost 30 community-based partners. We had never used a video to convey our findings and thought it would appeal to more audiences and better disseminate the work on the partners.

My team searched the web for companies that had created videos to share research and evaluation findings. We didn't find any, but we did find several that created marketing videos. We spoke with a few of them and ended up selecting Levitate because they were willing to walk us through the process, since we'd never done anything like this before. And we liked many of the examples they were able to provide to give us ideas about how we might want our video to look.

We searched online for companies that could provide the services for this project and they were at the top of the list. They responded right away. I selected this vendor because of their responsiveness and the quality of their products.

After we selected them, we had an initial call to discuss our business and what the video would be used for. They helped us some up with a strategy. They put together a storyboard for us and once we saw that we could really envision how the video would look. Their role was so important to this project because we did not know where to begin.

They provided a samples of the animated video. They worked with us to get the look we were trying to achieve and gave us suggestions for what would look good. They were so helpful through the process as this was our first time making a video. They made everything easy.

Unfortunately, this was not a successful campaign for us. We did not get any leads or generator any business from the project.

The communication with their entire team was great. They were prompt with their responses and always met all deadlines. They met all of our exceptions, exceeded them!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed by the catalog of videos that they had to offer. They variety available to fit every industry. I was nervous because we are in technology and we would not find a good video fit. They are so strong in putting together all of the ideas into a storyboard that makes sense. For me, their greatest strengthen is putting those storyboards into a video that looks and sounds AMAZING!!

It's an animated video that walks through the issues in working traditional leads products, how the new Instant Appointments product works and solves those issues, and where to go to learn more.

We had a shared project in Basecamp which was really helpful for keeping everyone on the same page. We had several revisions and they handled them within scope and like champs.

I am currently the Southeast Territory Manager for an environmentally-friendly chemical products producer; however, at the time of working with Levitate I was our Marketing Manager.

We're a small but quickly growing manufacturer and technical consulting company in the water and wastewater industry. Our main focus is assisting wastewater treatment plants with their nutrient removal process.

We had recently rolled out an updated version of our Control System, which automates and optimizes part of the nutrient removal process in wastewater treatment.

We needed a way to concisely and accurately showcase our new product to potential customers. We wanted something to visually explain and simplify a somewhat complicated process.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to have a short, high-level video explaining our new product that we could share with potential customers and add to our website. If customers could visualize how much this product would improve their process and reduce their workload then we would be able to roll more Control Units into the field.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I compiled a list of 5-10 video production companies that caught my eye while searching online. I had introductory phone calls with all the companies, narrowed down my list, and received proposals from 3-4.

The final decision to go with Levitate was based off the quality of their work, their ability to understand the technical aspects of our product and industry, and the value of their proposal.

Once we decided to go with Levitate we had a kick off meeting where we met their team and came up with a rough idea of what we wanted from them.

Shortly after we were added to a project management website which provided a great way to go back and forth with ideas, animations, scripts, voice samples, etc. A month or so later we had a final 90 second video that was exactly what we were looking for.

Throughout the process we went one step at a time. We agreed on a rough draft script, length, and the visual theme of the animations. They got back to us with a rough draft and we made edits. We went through several drafts and eventually came to final product we were very happy with.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After we received the final video we added it to our website and started using it in digital marketing and meetings with customers. Since then we have deployed our new product into several new plants.

It's tough to give exact numbers and ROI but I personally believe the video did a lot to help showcase the prodcut's capability to our customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Using the project management website to communicate was very effective. We could easily see what was complete and what needed to be done, and who needed to do it. Overall, it was a very smooth process.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was very impressed with how quick their response time was. We would ask for some changes to the draft video and they would get the new version back to us in record time.

Additionally, I was very impressed with how they understood our technical jargon and gave us back a script that was more concise and easily understood.
