Pets & People offers pet-assisted therapy visits to people who could use some healing joy in their days. Our carefully tested and certified therapy teams can be found at nursing homes, assisted living homes, special needs facilities, schools, libraries and hospitals and many other places. I am Director of Volunteers.

Our website was created by a volunteer many years back and it was not at all functional for us. We wanted to show off our wonderful teams, create enthusiasm for what we do, increase donations, help with day to day functions of signing up for events, payments etc. Be proud to have someone see our site.

After speaking to Dave, our then president and myself felt like he understood what we needed and could deliver. We also needed to be trained to maintain the site as we do no have funds for maintenance. He and Catie have been wonderful in this regard!

The timeline might look long but much of that was on our end of figuring out content. WE wanted to drive the content but that took alot of time on our end. Dave was very patient and helpful in guiding us through this process.

3. Dave and a designer to start. that person has since left and we have worked mostly with Catie. She is wonderful!, prompt, thorough and extremely helpful!

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have gotten so much positive feedback from our members and public and the ease of setting up our events, tests, seminars and collecting payment on the site has been invaluable. Our site now makes us look so much more professional and we are happy to direct folks to our site to learn more about us.

Both Dave and Catie are very easy to work with, they respond quickly to my requests for help and are so helpful with providing recordings so I can refer to later as I progress through the learning curve of website maintenance.

They were pleasant and efficient, and I am amazed by their quick answers to my questions throughout. These are not always simple queries either. Some of my thoughts now after two years, are how to make the site even more effective for us. Dave and Catie are very helpful in applying new ideas or suggestions as we grow into our new site and learn how to use it more effectively. i could not be happier.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had bugs at the start but truthfully, I expected some of that and issues were fixed very quickly. I have no complaints. Only praise for working with Dave and Catie.

I'm the director of programming and marketing at the Arts Council of York County. We are a nonprofit arts organization headquartered in Rock Hill, South Carolina, serving all of York county.

We needed a company that could redesign our existing website to accommodate a younger audience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Let's Design Your Site to refresh and redesign our homepage and about 12 of our site’s pages. We provided them with sample designs as well as 3–5 different websites before our initial meeting. They were able to take those sample designs and meld their best elements to form the perfect design for our own site.

Aside from that, they provided templates for the subpages on our website so we could add new pages to the site ourselves as needed.

We found Let's Design Your Site through Wix. Wix has a service within their platform that allows people to find Wix developers. We ultimately chose Let's Design Your Site because Steve (Head of Sales) was already familiar with our organization and had a good understanding of what we needed from this engagement.

We spent $2,475 on the entire project.

We worked on this project from July 2021–September 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We didn’t see a significant change in our site traffic, but we are impressed with how easier the site is to navigate and organize since its redesign.

How did Let's Design Your Site perform from a project management standpoint?

Let's Design Your Site performed well in terms of project management. They worked hard to understand exactly what we needed and what our challenges were. Not only did they listen and take what we gave them in our weekly meetings and turn them into actionable items, but they also accomplished these tasks very quickly.

We primarily communicated through email and Zoom. It was really easy to get in touch with them when we needed to.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We appreciated how Let's Design Your Site dedicated an entire team to our project and how they were able to accommodate all of our requirements and requests. They definitely met all of our needs, and we never felt sidelined, even when they were working on other projects.

We were also impressed with how flexible and accommodating they were. When we realized that there was a missing component to the site, they were quick to jump in, even if it wasn't part of the original scope.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would have been nice if they were a bit more thorough with their formatting and linking. When they signed over the pages to us, we asked them to go through them and make sure all the links were connected to the proper pages and that the formatting was consistent across the site.

We noticed that some links were missing and that there were a few formatting issues, so we had to fix that ourselves. We didn't ask them to do it because we were already live, and we didn’t want our patrons to experience lags or downtimes.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to give them examples of the pages that you want to emulate. Aside from that, when you have any kind of issues with their work, communicate with them as soon as you see them so that they can start working on them immediately.

We looked for web designers that were familiar with the Wix platform. We also were seeking a web design company that was able to translate unique ideas into a storyboard that would ultimately result in the design of our webpage. We obviously considered price as a qualification factor, but not as the deciding factor in choosing the winning vendor

We needed a website that clearly defined our value proposition and unique approach to the marketplace. Our vision was to stand out against typical consulting firms that are prevalent in our space. Let’s design your site immediately understood our vision and assigned the appropriate resources to our project. We found it extremely easy to communicate and translate ideas with the team. It was obvious from the very beginning that this company possessed a high-level of creative talent.

We had an initial project discovery meeting, followed by a check-in meeting, followed by a progress review meeting, and then wrapping up with a final acceptance meeting. In between these meetings, we communicated via email. Let’s Design Your Site has mastered the art of effective communication and they wasted no time in getting our design completed and translated to the webpage.

We needed a website that clearly defined our value proposition and unique approach to the marketplace. Our vision was to stand out against typical consulting firms that are prevalent in our space. This was no easy task from a creative design perspective. Now, it is much easier for our existing clients to interact with us and for new clients to understand our services clearly. We fully expect to see an increase in SEO traffic and online bookings.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The entire team provided us frequent updates and almost instantaneous access to them via email. When a meeting was needed, they quickly scheduled it, provided invites, and showed up on time prepared to discuss the agenda.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Let’s Design Your Site has a level of maturity and experience that is unmatched in their market. You would typically have to work with a larger firm with deeper resources to garner the level of professionalism that we received. That, in and of itself, was a welcomed surprise

The only observation that I have for improvement, would be to expand their vendor selection when it comes to art and graphics.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I contacted one of the top industry leaders in marketing web/landing page design. Although this other company claimed to be “disruptive,” their advertising, web design and landing pages were lackluster, and I found myself back at square one. I decided to reach out to Let’s Design Your Site and spoke with the owner Dave who took the time to understand my business model and customer demographics.

He asked pertinent questions to ensure his Team understood as well. Our conversation was very fluid. I was confident Dave could help realize my vision and this was the company I wanted to partner with.

After meeting with the Team to discuss my goals, I received first drafts for multiple landing pages. I provided feedback and received another draft the following business day. They nailed it! At that point, I received URL’s for each LP. I was pleased to see they used multiple formats to ensure desktop and mobile quality. Next, they revamped my antiquated website with exciting graphics and designs through WIX. They focused on verbiage that would resonate with my customer base on Google and Bing.

My revenue has almost quadrupled in the last year and a half along with PPC conversions up over 300%. The landing pages content have been instrumental in my company's success.

Communication via email, Zoom and direct phone calls. Management is professional with a laid back and friendly approach. For the most part, the Team meets deliverables. If not, it's because we've added to the scope of work.

I am impressed by the Team’s accessibility and ability to realize my vison. I appreciate their honesty and candor with respect to the best design and format to reach my target audience. I must say, LDYS is first rate.

We started with a blank slate. We explained what we wanted the website to look like (including the look and feel) and provided the content. We were working under very tight timeframe - approx. 2 weeks. After only a couple of design meetings, we were presented with a website that we loved - from the format, ease of use down to the colors selected.

We worked with a project manager / point person. Communication was also thorough and well-coordinated.

After launching our site, our clients commented on how easy it was to find what they were looking for. They loved the video of the golden retriever on the home page!

It was very easy to communicate with this company. After they presented us with the initial design, we documented the changes we needed and they were made quickly and re-presented to us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was very impressed with their web design services. We provided no guidance on what the site should look like but the designer totally nailed it. They were able to carry out our vision with very little direction. This company was also very easy to work with. They are a "can do" company and always accommodated our requests. The staff is very skilled on the underlying platform (WIX) and can basically make it do anything you want. Last, their fees are very reasonable. We will be using this company going forward to make any future changes.

I’m a realtor at Berkshire Hathaway Home Properties. I’m basically both a buyer and a seller’s agent.

I had a website that I created myself, but since I’m not a web designer, it was kind of amateurish. I approached Let’s Design Your Site to provide the site with a bit more finesse.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I provided Dave (Business Owner) and Jessy (Senior Designer & Aesthetics Specialist) with my wishlist. I told them what I wanted the site to look like, and I clearly established that I didn’t want to use any stock images on the site to keep it from looking like everybody else’s. 

After a week, they came back to me with a preview of the website, which really blew me away. They designed the final theme and created a section where I can put all of the reviews for my business or service. Let’s Design Your Site was kind enough to also put together a little tutorial video in case I forgot how to get into my website and add reviews. 

I didn’t ask for any changes to my logo, except to correct a typo.

My original website was on Wix, and Wix offered different vendors should one need a custom solution or web design. I just selected them at random and got a call from Dave. I was that his prices were reasonable so I went with him.

I can’t remember the exact amount, but it was less than $5,000.

I started working with them in February 2022, and they finished the project in a couple of weeks. I wouldn’t really consider our engagement ended since I still go to them every now and then for assistance and pay them the hourly rate.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Though the website is meant for the public, the different realtors that I work with love it. I’ve received absolutely no negative response, and I myself enjoy looking at it. With the website, it’s now easy to have people learn about me and about what I do. Through the photos that are uploaded there, they can see that I’m a successful and active realtor.

Let’s Design Your Site was a real pleasure to work with. They never gave a hard sell, but instead focused on the creative side of their services. They understood exactly what I was looking for and did exactly what I asked them to do. It was very pleasant. 

Communications were also great. We used Zoom and emails. They met every deadline and made the changes that I asked for, sometimes while I was talking to them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication and honesty really stood out to me. I just trusted them from the very beginning because it was never about sales for them.

There were only a few instances where they were late for our meeting. Other than that, though, there were no issues.

Write down what you do and don’t like about your website so that you can give them a clear list of your do’s and don’t’s. Having an outline like that will be very helpful.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Let’s Design Your Site has developed our Wix website from scratch. Initially, I gave them the parameters of what I was looking for and some referrals to other sites that were attractive to me and had similar information. They took my requests, consolidated them, put them together, and came back with a fairly streamlined site. We then had additional editing and revisions until I was satisfied with it.

Our is not a very elaborate website, but Let’s Design Your Site put a lot of information about us in it. It also has contact information and backend functionality so that users can sign in, and we can capture metrics about visitors.

Now, Let's Design Your Site helps me with the site’s maintenance. Additionally, they’ve done some SEO work to make my site position higher on search engines.

After the development process, I ended up with a site that I’m very pleased with. Our site is beautiful, professional, well-designed, and well-executed, and it helps me communicate my business effectively, showcasing the services that we offer.

They continued to build out each page, walking me through each one before moving on to the next. Their execution was very much aligned with my vision and only minor edits were needed. We did one final walk through upon completion were they allowed for final edits.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After meeting with 4 or 5 potential web designers I selected Let's Design Your Site. This choice was based on the quality of their prior work, the affordability of their pricing, and the overall professionalism of their staff.

After meeting with me to discuss overall goals and objectives, the designers created a draft homepage and solicited my feedback. They then continued to tweak the design until it met with my approval. Throughout this process they continually offered excellent suggestions and were very responsive to all of my questions and concerns.

Once the homepage was completed they designed and created a number of sub-pages. Just prior to the site launching in they tested to ensure that the site worked as designed.

I worked primarily with web designers Cory and Catie, both of whom were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. Owner Dave was also very generous in providing me with marketing ideas.

The website looks and functions much better than the version that I had tried to design myself. I have heard nothing but positive feedback from those who have visited. Traffic to the website is exceeding my expectations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Most of the communication was via email, but we also periodically met over zoom to discuss progress and future plans. I was amazed at how quickly all members of the team responded to my numerous questions. They made me feel like I was their only client even though that was not the case.

Zoom meetings were both pleasant and time efficient. Meetings lasted just long enough for me to say what I needed to say and hear what I needed to hear. I was also very pleased with how supportive they were throughout the entire process. They really made me feel like a valued member of the team, and not just another client.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was amazed by the degree to which the entire team became invested in my project. Early on it became clear to me that they were not going to stop improving the website until I was fully satisfied with it. They are also a great team of listeners who clearly know how to collaborate. For this reason I am very happy that I choose to go with a them instead of an individual designer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly nothing comes to mind. I would highly recommend their services for anyone looking for help with website design or marketing.

The site was in early stages of concept and development when I started with Lets Design Your Site. There were very specific functions that were needed to accomplish my goals that were beyond my abilities. After working with the team at LDYS my site looks and works exactly as I had envisioned.

Dave was always available and quickly responded anytime I had a question or needed an update on progress. The first month I had weekly Zoom meetings with him and the team and in the final stages worked directory with Brendan to make sure the site was functioning correctly. I am extremely pleased with the results.

I got the feeling that they cared about my goals and vision. Although my initial desire was for help with advanced functionality, Dave suggested a tweak to my design which made a dramatic improvement to the home page. Brendan took the time (and patience) to understand what I wanted and made it happen. He made several suggestions along the way that improved the overall function and user experience.

I feel LDYS exceeded my expections.
