Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the founder of GiveSmiles. A company that allows individuals to donate to their local food bank, without leaving their home, using our online service.

For what projects/services did your company hire Lee Lawton Design, and what were your goals?

We hired Lee for our website creation and design. We gave a very specific brief but also kept this quite open, with full trust in his ability. As a startup, we didn't quite have all of the information available to us just yet, which Lee really helped to fill in the blanks and offer advice with.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We hired Lee for our website creation and design after coming across his portfolio online. We knew he could create projects to the high standard and quality we were looking for. The deciding factor was how quickly we got a response to our inquiry.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The main discussion for the project was over email, the preferred form of communication as we could both respond as and when suited us. Lee would respond to my queries at all hours, often within minutes. Very early on Lee asked me for some examples of websites I like and dislike, to get a feel for the project.

Then he sent through a mock version of the webpage that he had created so far, based on what I had given him. This was around 70% what we used for the end result, which for a first draft is amazing. He really understood what I had asked for and created it.

The few tweaks were simply preferences and elements that needed filling in such as imagery and script. Then the work began on the other pages, which was really fast. Although fast, the quality didn't suffer at all.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

As far as I am aware it was just Lee working on this project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We aren't really a company that those metrics are monitored, however I will say we have been receiving orders that are steady and this is no doubt contributed by the easy to navigate, user friendly website.

We used email to communicate which worked well for our schedules.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The professional yet friendly attitude from Lee was outstanding. The ability to ask the right questions and use those answers to create exactly what was asked.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None.
