I'm the marketing manager in the company. We are a appliances distributor, we have a retail chain and ecommerce platform.

We hired LEADLION for developing a new ecommerce platform, that is with new technology and complies with new market requirements.

We did a market research before we chose them, and after we decided to meet face to face with the top 3 of our selected companies, we chose LEADLION. The deciding factor was Alex, and the fact that he works with professionals.

The main scope was ecommerce. We worker with Magento 2. They had to migrate the old website, written in Java and not lose the old links. After that they had to do integrations with: ERP, delivery agents, Google products, Facebook products, develop new features and making a custom design as our requests.

We had 5 people working with us. Developers, UI designers, project manager.

We hot a good shop after the launch. The design is very catchy and our clients enjoy it. The user experience is better, we had organic growth.

We worked with Jira and everything went smooth, task by task.

We appreciate their availability and their ability to recognize our needs.

We searched online for Magento 2 developers in Romania. After discussions with 5 or 6 digital agencies, we chose Leadlion on the following factors:

- the readiness and professionalism of the team

They started to work on our project after one or two meetings when we set up all the details.

1. They presented design mock-ups and then started develop the multistore platform on Magento

2. We approved every step of the project before moving forward.

A project manager from Leadlion was in charge with the communication with us. The team also included a director, a designer and more backend and frontend developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We received a great interest for the online platform from our customers, who were delighted by the new functionalities. We also got leads from new prospective customers. This was our main purpose, as we needed to increase our brand awareness.

We worked on Jira service desk and the deadlines were met every time.

They were great professionals who did their jobs right and accomplished tasks on time.

We selected Leadlion based on the detailed development plan and adaptation to our more specific requests.

Work started immediately after financial approval with the design proposals. After that, followed the store setup and finally the campaigns setup. Tools used: Magento + many extensions, Google Analytics/Ads, Facebook Business, etc.

We kept in touch with several team members from Leadlion, including project managers and marketing specialists.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The shop was quickly fully functional and the campaigns began generating leads very soon. Every season we have had updates to our website and marketing plans, and this contributed to our steady growth.

They are always up-to-date with all the latest updates in the industry.

I'm the architect and project manager of an e-commerce website (yuga.ro). We are selling pharmacy products, baby products, clean food, but we also combine the products with travel products.

Our website was started in 2019 and in 2020 we launched it live. After that, we started to search for a team to help us with the development of new features. We aimed for a company that was able to offer Magento 2 development for both front end and back end. We choose Leadlion as our service supplier and we are still working with them on the project.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We tried to discuss with some of the biggest vendors in our country. After we've had the short list, we've had meetings with all of them. We choose based on their portofolio, their experience, their number of developers, but also based on the chemistry developed with the owners.

They have developers assigned to our projects at any time. Basically, the way we are working with them is like this: we come up with the request (functionality development, front-end development, maintenance, etc). After they receive the request, they ask all the necessary questions and give us the estimate. After the estimate is approved, they begin to work on the project.

They keep us informed all the time and we have periodical discussions about the projects. When the project is finished, they test is and deliver it to us. If needed, they implement the feedback before the final release. We have a Magento 2 website, this being the main technology that we are using.

Some of the projects we worked with them: developing custom shipping methods, developing ERP implementations, Developing custom import functionalities, front end development of the whole website

I worked directly with the owner and the assigned project manager. Many of their developers worked or ar working on our project at the moment

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We focused mainly on the backend side (admin side) and on the design of the website. For the admin side, we are now managing to import products from our ERP instantly. We have some customizations based on our needs. On the front end side, they did a great job, with small nu,ber of returned bugs. The customer flow is better now, the user experience is lighter.

We communicate a lot during the development. Regarding the tools they have in place, we are using Jira. Timelines are communicating via email or in Jira directly, depending on the project size.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their friendly approach. I know that I can discuss with them as partners and not only as software suppliers. They have a lot of experience in Magento development, so they provide great recommendations and feedback.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't find at the moment some things to improve. Maybe on thing that can be improved is to have faster communication when needed. So have a procedure in place for communication in case of emergency.
