If you are looking for a company that knows the ins and outs of digital marketing, especially SEO, SEM, FB, IG, email marketing, and general digital principles, these guys are top-notch. Everyone on their team knows what they are doing and are consummate professionals. They're my go-to recommendation!

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

When I first met them, we were looking for a partner to handle all of our digital ad placement and SEO needs. They were an excellent complement to the creative services we provided clients.

They are heavy on test & measure. This is a firm that will tinker with the mixture endlessly until they get it right. The first phase is always research-intensive to get a strong benchmark for what's possible and create the infrastructural basis for success (e.g. cleaning up a website to prepare it for marketing campaigns). After that, they slowly scale campaigns and use the least amount of money possible to get statistically relevant data samples. They are excellent stewards of capital and don't spend needlessly.

I've mostly worked directly with the owner, who is excellent. Have also worked alongside their specialists: Google experts, SEO specialists, etc.

All of our campaigns have been successful together. ROI has always been extremely positive :)

Very efficient. You can let them do their thing or be very hands-on. Not the type of firm you need to hand hold to see success. They know what they need from you.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have no ego! It's a breath of fresh air in an industry that has a lot of egos typically. Their approach is very scientific, which for media placements is absolutely crucial. Being objective is everything.

Nope. Hire them!

Our family’s been manufacturing jewelry for over 75 years. Historically, this meant manufacturing jewelry for designers, who would sell to stores, who would sell it to customers. But that means by the time it gets to the customer, it’s massively marked up. Our family and friends have always asked us to make them jewelry because it was so much more affordable and could be made exactly how they wanted. As more people asked, we realized: why don’t we do this for everyone? Now, we do.

Now, customers can customize any piece, and save around 50% off traditional retail prices. And you can feel good while doing it because all our gems are ethically sourced, all our gold is recycled, and a portion of all profits goes toward breast cancer research. I am the founder and COO of the company.

We heard about LASANAN through a friend. We spoke to a few dozen different companies and felt they were the most knowledge. They also provided great strategic advice during our initial calls.

LASANAN developed a strategy with us. They did a preliminary setup of our analytics and gave us feedback on our website. They helped us select a graphic designer to assist with brand development. They then setup e-mail campaigns. We are currently in a pilot program, where we are testing Instagram / Facebook ads and Google Ads.

Justin sent us a customized questionnaire of goals we had for tracking progress on our webtraffic. He set up this tracking within Google Analytics and attached it to our website. Justin noted our site speed was a little lower than it should be on both desktop and mobile and gave us insights on how to increase it our selves. He helped implement the changes we were unable to make on our own and drastically improved our speed scores. He even included a video on what he did to make the changes to help with any future issues.

Our site speed scores rose from the 10 to 30-40 range for mobile and from the 40 to 70-80 range for desktop.

We are a custom mobile and web software development company. We build software to help other companies achieve goals through implementation of custom technology. As the COO, I handle all of our operations, client engagement, sales, and business development efforts. I'm also in charge of strategic partnerships like the one we have with LASANAN.

What challenge were you trying to address with LASANAN?

We were helping a client reimagine and rebuild their web presence. The site was old and on an outdated platform, and we needed to create something to support growth.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We engaged LASANAN to come up with a strategy to optimize the entire endeavor. They helped us figure out the current architecture and a transition plan that helped us transfer the old data to the new site. We wanted to maintain a high level of visibility for the client, so SEO was also a major consideration. We also explored new strategies to bring in new clients.

LASANAN helped with keyword research and everything linked to SEO. They looked at AdWords and Facebook accounts and explored past strategies. They assessed risks and the quality of keywords to push traffic to the site.

We have one main point of contact, but we've also interacted with at least five other team members who act as analysts, SEO specialists, strategists, and architects.

We were introduced through a mutual client. When we had an opportunity arose, we started collaborating with them. We've worked on several projects together since then.

The most recent project ran from October 2018-September 2019, and the partnership will continue for other projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There was hardly any dip in traffic through this transition, and we already see a positive trajectory in organic traffic. Everything is going very well, and they've filled a lot of the gaps in visibility that the brand had previously.

How did LASANAN perform from a project management standpoint?

They keep us informed, up-to-date, and copied on appropriate emails, and all their deliverables come in on time. Other than email, we also communicate through phone and text.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're experts in their field. When things go outside of our normal service offerings, engaging with them is extremely comfortable. They think about all the ecosystems at play, as well as all the manipulating factors and forces that are out of our control. I trust their services, and I never have to question what they deliver. The quality of their work is always appropriate, and we always receive what we need.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing comes to mind for improvements. They're great connectors, and they know a lot of small agencies. They never oversell their abilities, and they recommend other vendors to help keep projects on track.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The earlier you engage them, and the more you can tell them about your business, the better. Share your insights and documentation, which will give them a more strategic vision. They are masters of the digital marketing world, and they work best with a high level of transparency.

After selecting LASANAN, they executed an audit of our existing paid social strategy and goals and presented recommendations on: growth tactics, budget planning optimization, improvements to tracking and attribution modeling, and transferred knowledge to our internal social media team for day-to-day execution. We retained LASANAN as a consultative partner and auditor of go-forward activities following the strategic audit and training of our staff.

The tracking improvements implemented by LASANAN gave us greater confidence in our ability to attribute sales and make budget optimizations at their recommendation. We were able to drive significant returns on our ad spend and increased budget month-to-month to support facebook growth as outlined by LASANAN. LASANAN's openness in knowledge transfer and training allowed our internal team to capably execute on a best-in-class strategy that drove significant revenue and new customer acquisition. The engagement with LASANAN was deemed successful by the social team, myself, and C-level management at HOMAGE.

LASANAN was meticulous in reporting and provided recommendations based on performance in a simple, actionable framework. Communication and management of our account were handled professionally and all parties were satisfied.
