What challenge were you trying to address with Lamp MediaTech?

They did our website, and have taken care of our SEO, SEM, and social media for the last nine years.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lamp MediaTech built and designed our website from scratch, and is updating it from time to time. They also take care of our Google marketing and search engine optimization. They work closely with our team and we give them blogs and technical information on a weekly basis. They also support and manage my Instagram and Facebook by designing and publishing our weekly posts.

What is the team composition?

There are 3–4 people from their side including the manager, a customer care representative, and a designer.

How did you come to work with Lamp MediaTech?

They came as a reference from a friend. They kept doing a good job, so we kept on giving them new projects.

How much have you invested in them?

Our investment varies from the different packages they provide, but we’re currently spending around $2,000 USD on average per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in the first quarter of 2014, and our partnership is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Lamp MediaTech gives us monthly updates about the keyword positioning. It requires a lot of technical information, but we’re happy with their work so far.

How did Lamp MediaTech perform from a project management standpoint?

Our team keeps in touch with them on a bi-weekly basis. We typically communicate over the phone, and I have assigned one of my doctor team members to get weekly updates on technical information. They’re good in terms of meeting deadlines as they meet them almost 90% of the time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They keep a personal interest in our work and make sure that we are at the top of Google results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t know if it is practical to have freelance technical people on board. It would be superb if they could have a doctor as a content writer.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They are experts in their field, but at the same time, the information they get has to be backed with sufficient technical knowledge. Make sure you give them the proper guidelines.

We needed help with our website development and SEO as well.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a fixed timeline, so we needed the website up and ready within a certain period. They built the site from scratch on PHP, and they also did an SEO framework for our marketing strategy — that was all done through that time. For the current SEO services, we provided them with the nature of our business with the keywords that we wanted to hit, and they took it from there. In addition to that, they also provided us with social media marketing for one of our divisions, but that was kept on hold after a while.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Luke (CEO) and an SEO specialist.

How did you come to work with Lamp MediaTech?

They were referred to us by a friend. We chose them because we got trustworthy reviews about their work, and there was a good back and forth communication once I reached out to them — it felt like it was easy and convenient to talk to them.

How much have you invested with them?

We gave an initial payment of $1,000, and we currently pay $500-$1000 a month for the SEO services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen a bump in sales, conversions on our website and in the analytics on Google. Also, when there’s an issue with keywords, we coordinate with the person from mass media, and they replace some of them — that’s also important for us.

How did Lamp MediaTech perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always on top of meeting deadlines; the first thing that they ask me is when do I need things done, so there’s never an issue with that. We typically communicate through email and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their timely responses are what stand out the most; they’re always online and ready to answer our questions. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be in direct contact with the CEO because he’s the one who pushes things forward. If you do it, then everything should be easygoing for you.
