The project involved a complete redesign and rebuild of the Sloth Conservation Foundation’s website to create a modern, professional, and user-friendly platform that supports our mission. This included developing a fully integrated donation and adoption system with multiple payment options, building secure membership areas with login portals for access to gated content, and ensuring connectivity with our CRM and fundraising tools. The team also created workflows to automate recurring donations, sloth adoptions, and supporter communications, while designing an intuitive user experience optimized for both desktop and mobile visitors.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Although the website has not yet launched publicly, we are already very happy with the results. The new site and systems are fully built, (they look great), tested, and ready to go live, and we can see clear progress and anticipated benefits, including:

A redesigned, modern, and responsive website that reflects our mission.
A secure donation and adoption system with multiple payment options.
Membership areas and login portals that will allow supporters to access exclusive content
Automated workflows that streamline supporter communications.
Full integration with our CRM.

While we don’t yet have post-launch data, the functionality and quality of the finished product already represent a major step forward for our organization, and we are confident the site will deliver significant improvements once live.

Our experience with Kue Studio was overwhelmingly positive, and we would work with them again in a heartbeat. 

One area for potential growth would be offering a few optional post-launch check-ins built into the scope—whether for analytics, performance review, or small refinements—could further strengthen the hand-off experience and support long-term client success.

That said, the professionalism, care, and follow-through Kue brought to every stage of the project more than outweighed any minor areas for improvement.

We needed to add more information for a new program we launched. However, we were having difficulty with the Wordpress backend to do this without altering the original layout. "Cards" representing our services were not laying out as we liked and buttons were jumping around the page. We needed improvement on our site navigation as well. We requested Ken to assist us with these issues.

Ken was able to take the information we provided and seamlessly incorporated it into our website. He was able to correct the coding so that our layout remained the same even with the additional information and with the template not originally built out for those additions. Ken was able to complete what we requested in a timely manner. Our website was easier to navigate, and the buttons at the top translated to the mobile version as we requested. He was very professional yet friendly, and it was a pleasure working with him on this project.

We used Basecamp to communicate and project manage. Delays on Ludeos part made the project go longer than necessary but both Ken and Elvis were extremely responsive to any asks. Both are also great at asking for items they need in order to complete tasks. Ken often rejected copy that would be too long or not effective as a keyword tool. All in all, Kue just goes above and beyond everything they promise or what's in scope.

The agility and quality that came out of this shop. A key issue we had was with Comeet integration for auto updates and filtering. Kue worked with me directly as we figured out the flow and the necessary filters we needed to make our website job site work appropriately.

They need to grow so they can support more teams. A talent like these two need bigger projects.

The team built a new website on Squarespace and worked with us to build out the new website using updated copy provided through our marketing agency. They also transitioned content from our old WordPress site to the new site. The team provided weekly updates and training after launch, making it a smooth transition from old to new.

Kue Studio helped me find and articulate my brand heart, logo, and identifying assets such as fonts, colors, and textures. The team also created brand-identifying artwork, templates for social media, and a brand website that serves as a landing page. Kue Studio handled the full design and development of my website.

Kue Studio was referred to me. Their company values aligned with mine, and I saw some of the work they did for a previous client in the same industry and liked what they produced.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Kue Studio defined a clear creative positioning system, including one brand statement, five core creative pillars, and a “why artists work with me” narrative, which I now use across my bio, pitches, and release materials. The team also delivered a complete, reusable brand kit, including two word marks, multiple lockups, a limited color palette, a two-font type system, and repeatable graphic motifs, eliminating the need for custom design on each release. Moreover, Kue Studio produced 10+ exportable visual assets and social templates optimized for digital platforms, which I directly applied to my upcoming releases. The team also prepared full release-ready artwork in multiple formats for my first artist-featured release. Additionally, Kue Studio created a single landing page system with short and long bios, consolidating artist identity, music, and contact info into one access point. My website traffic increased by 200% as soon as it launched. Much of what Kue Studio created for me resulted in hundreds of hours saved. The new brand assets and templates helped convey my sonic identity through a consistent visual brand. For example, the visual textures on our website that Kue Studio created helped potential clients understand my sound and the type of sonic textures and approach I take in my collaborations with artists.

How did Kue Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Kue Studio was extremely responsive, delivered everything on time, and was very collaborative in allowing me to test out my ideas and adjust based on our understanding of my creative identity. We communicated through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Kue Studio's thoughtfulness in their use of research, design taste, and communication was impressive. We had a great and productive working relationship. I was extremely impressed with their commitment to ensuring that I was happy with each of the deliverables and their thoroughness in trying to understand me and my vision for my brand.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would've been great to have a couple more touchpoints throughout the day so we could iterate more quickly, but that's very minor and unique to my situation since things were moving so fast, and I had to review many different artifacts by the end of the day.
