Complex migration of our custom Magento 1 site with over 50,000 products to a new more robust, faster, and easier to search Magento 2 site that is also more mobile friendly. The project also involved migration and redevelopment of custom features and set up of a new LTL shipping rater for our oversized items.

Due to the complexity of the migration, our project was lengthy and hit some roadblocks due to compatibilities with custom features required and Magento extensions installed. Our current project manager and developer were persistent and able to overcome these hurdles to keep our project on track to deliver a great product on the Magento 2 platform.

They also provided many recommendations that we had not originally considered to better improve the site while saving costs. We felt confident in their ability to complete this project successfully and appreciated their experience with completing other M1 to M2 migrations.

The primary objective for Krish's work was to build the site according to our inputs in the time required and they were consistently able to meet those targets.

They have been responsive and timely at all times whether we had more requests than normal or fewer. Communication has been a primary benefit - we are able to set up a meeting with them at anytime just as we would someone in our own company.

At times it felt that when new updates were pushed into production, previous updates were omitted or in need of correction that was not initially planned for. This lead to some repeat work, although this was always performed.

We initially had a Magneto Community version of the site. I was looking to engage with an agency that understands the platform and how it operates. Before we were working with a marketing firm and I needed a highly-rated, Magento-certified agency to take a current assessment of our site and take advantages of the features we weren’t fully aware of.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had more website hits and higher user satisfaction due to Krish TechnoLabs. Users can easily check out the site on their desktop and mobile device. We’ve seen increased sales on the shopping component of the platform. Krish TechnoLabs provides ongoing managed support services, including hosting the site.

How did Krish TechnoLabs perform from a project management standpoint?

Bharat acts as our project manager. Their team is responsive and gives me the budget ahead of time. I set the projection of each particular task. They alert me of any security issues or updates that the site needs. Krish TechnoLabs is easy to work with. They’re relatively small, so I always receive responses and work quickly. I’m always in the loop on who is working on what. Krish TechnoLabs delivers a different experience than what I’ve had with other service providers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate that their team went all out to accentuate their goal to assist our company. We service a particular industry. Through the presentation they provided, it is apparent that they took the time to look at the industry as a whole. Krish TechnoLabs also delivered services we didn’t expect. They served us with tips to gain marketing numbers and recommendations on how to build brand awareness.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, I don’t think they could do anything differently. I can ask their team to do anything. Krish TechnoLabs comes up with suggestions and sends our seasonal presentations to help with marketing. Their team initiates proposals and completes my requests.

Clients should do their research and talk to a couple of firms to compare and see the value that Krish TechnoLabs will bring to their project. Even though they’re based overseas, their communication is excellent which benefits their management of sites.

I’m the Marketing Director for Pacelli Sports. We’re a wholesale company that supplies local sports teams, businesses, and colleges with high-quality sportswear.

What challenges were you trying to address with Krish TechnoLabs?

We needed to improve our Magento website with new features, but our previous provider was expensive and their turnaround times weren’t great. Therefore, we searched for new developers to better accomplish our web design goals.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We put together a list in-house of website improvements in-house and sent them to Krish. They replied with an outline of what was doable and how long each task would take. Alongside that, they made their recommendations to improve the site’s usability. We merged the two lists and came up with a practical web design roadmap.

They provided a lot of features that are useful for our company. We have many products with different colors and ranges. To display this better, they added a navigation bar to the left side of the page that filters products by color, gender, size, etc. Using this navigation system, we can quickly show customers everything available to them within their requirements.

How did you come to work with Krish TechnoLabs?

We came across them and a few other companies on Magento’s website as they were listed as partners. We sent out several emails and talked to different developers, but Krish was the first to follow up with us after the initial phone call. Even after providing a full quote they reached out again to see if we were happy with that or if they could do anything else. This proactive approach and attention to detail are why we hired them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent €7,500 ($9,297 USD) for the initial development work. The total investment cost is higher because they provide ongoing maintenance that we purchase in 60-hour blocks.

The website project took place August 2016­–September 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our previous website was slow and not user-friendly. Since working with Krish, we’ve seen an increase in site traffic and a decreased bounce rate as well. The navigation bar is a useful selling and marketing tool.

How did Krish TechnoLabs perform from a project management standpoint?

They were in constant communication with us either through phone or email. Even if we forget to reply to an email, they’re quick about following up with us. They have an OrangeScrum they keep updated so we can see where they are in processes. It’s been a very transparent relationship. We did notice bugs in the test site, but they were fixed by the time the site went live. Everything was completed on-time and within budget.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Quality can be expensive. For the service they offer, they’re a very good value. They’re responsive, they get work done, and keep in touch with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They haven’t done anything wrong for me to suggest improvement as they resolved any minor issues we had. They’ll email us about a new patch available before we’ve even heard of it. We’re very happy with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear and precise with communication. We often send Krish edited screenshots of what we want because it’s always easier to describe something with a picture.

I am the e-commerce manager of Tavola, a specialty retail store offering kitchenware, appliances, and bakery products. We are headquartered in Dubai and have 30 retail stores across the Middle East.

What challenges were you trying to address with Krish TechnoLabs?

We had a custom-built e-commerce shop that had a lot of problems; the user experience was not great and it was completely un-optimized. We decided to re-platform on Magento.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They worked on our e-commerce store, Tavolashop.com. They performed all the frontend design work and transferred all our existing catalogs, orders and customer base from the old platform to the Magento one. They also took care of the integration with our ERP system. Krish also worked on a performance optimization project for improving the loading time and general speed of the website. The project is complete, and now we have a maintenance contract with them through which we can take care of any future requirements.

What is the team composition?

They assigned a business analyst who gathered our requirements. He passed those to a project manager who interfaced with me. There were a couple of developers working under him. I am currently liaising with a Magento developer. If we need additional features on the frontend or performance optimizations, he can pull in other resources from Krish.

How did you come to work with Krish TechnoLabs?

After we gathered our requirements for the Magento platform, I spoke to several certified partners, mainly in India which is closer to us. We wanted a cost-effective solution. I spoke to six or seven certified Magento providers and chose Krish because they understood our business requirements well and proposed the right solution. They also gave us a good price compared to other providers who were demanding three times as much.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost of their services from the beginning until today has been around $35,000­ to $40,000. The initial solution cost around $15,000 and our maintenance contract costs around $25 per hour. We have also undergone an optimization project which cost us $4,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Krish in January 2015. The project took three months and we launched around April of that year.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since 2015, our traffic has grown tremendously. In terms of transactions, we have grown sevenfold since launching the new platform. Krish’s performance optimization work helped increase our conversion rates drastically.

How did Krish TechnoLabs perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything was done on time and within budget. They use OrangeScrum as a ticketing system, and we communicate over Skype. The team is very responsive, getting back to me within a few minutes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Within their company, they have a few specialists for the server side, the frontend, and the Magento core solution. Krish is a one-stop shop for all our Magento needs which means that we didn't have to look at different places for various services. Also, they have very good prices.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could do a better job in terms of quality assurance. Krish has sometimes submitted features that were not 100% tested and we found minor bugs or elements that were not working right.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Krish is one of the best, most cost-effective Magento solution providers on the market. They have a good team with strong expertise in the area. I would definitely recommend them to any client, but I would advise that person to have requirements well laid out upfront, using as much detail as possible. Even if the client doesn’t have that, Krish has enough expertise to guide clients to come up with the right solution.
