The project involved the end-to-end development and market launch of "Wonga Pay," a complex fintech solution designed to modernize Wonga Polska’s product offering. The goal was to build a comprehensive mobile-first ecosystem that combined a physical and virtual VISA debit card, and a revolving debit limit (BNPL/credit functionality).

Koia Consulting was a key partner from day one. They were involved in everything: from the initial brainstorming and planning to the technical build and the official market launch. Even after we went live, they stayed on board to help us optimize the app and roll out new features.

The project required navigating complex integrations with payment processors and core wonga Backend System while ensuring a seamless, user-friendly mobile experience. As the most ambitious project in Wonga Polska’s history, it aimed to transform how customers access and manage credit in real-time.

What impressed me most was the high caliber of their professionals and their specialized fintech expertise, which allowed them to handle complex integrations with ease. The leadership of the CEO, Filip, was great. His deep industry knowledge and management skills bridged the gap between our business goals and technical execution.

The team has also helped us execute features like AI guidance, payroll savings, push notifications, and learning pathways.

Given the nature of our platform, security and reliability were critical. Koia showed a solid understanding of secure development practices, and we were comfortable trusting them with core parts of our system.
