I’m the co-founder of a CBD-infused skincare and wellness company in Spain. We’re a startup with a range of 10 products; four for wellness and six for skincare.

What challenge were you trying to address with KodeFlow Technologies?

CBD isn’t as well-known in Spain as in the US. It has a lot of negative connotations since it’s related to cannabis. It’s also difficult for older generations to accept it as easily as the younger generations. As a result, we need to be as approachable, friendly-looking, and educational as possible through our website. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

KodeFlow developed our entire e-commerce platform, creating a fully functioning website with a Spanish payment gateway. This was extremely challenging because Spain didn’t normally allow payment gateways for CBD products. However, we spoke to a bank, and they were willing to hold the money for us so that the payments were perfectly legal. 

KodeFlow designed the website based on a couple of websites that we liked. The product pages should have animations based on the products, descriptions, or filters we had. Overall, the site wasn’t as simple as a normal website, but they designed it to the best of their ability.

They’ve already delivered the website, and we’re now on a one-month trial to see if everything works. We still have KodeFlow on contract, and they’ll sort out our SEO efforts very soon.  

What is the team composition?

We work directly with Hasham (Digital Marketing Manager) and Faizan (CEO & Founder). In total, 3–4 people are working for us within their team. 

How did you come to work with KodeFlow Technologies?

We met the KodeFlow team on Fiverr. We were looking for freelancers on different platforms when we came across them. After speaking with one of their representatives, we looked at their portfolio and what they’d done for other brands. They’d never worked for a cosmetics brand before, which was a risk we took — we basically gave them one of the most complex jobs they’d ever done. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $1,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with KodeFlow in March 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

KodeFlow works day and night, and they’ve done an incredible job for the price we’ve paid. They’ve also provided the animations and filters that we want. On top of that, they’ve been informative since the beginning. For instance, they’ve explained how the website works in terms of hosting and server speed, helping us understand everything before we proceed to the more realistic view of things. Overall, we’ve been extremely happy with their services. 

How did KodeFlow Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Our communication is great. In terms of meeting deadlines, the project has taken longer than expected, but I have no complaints. KodeFlow has also been very honest about it. 

For context, we initially wanted to finish the project in 2–3 weeks. However, there were 10 product pages and animations, so we realized that we were a bit unrealistic on the timeframe in which we wanted KodeFlow to work. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

KodeFlow’s work ethics stand out the most. They’re always ready to help; if we need something, at least one person from their team always answers within a couple of hours.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should do a bit more research on their customers' industry. We’ve given them all the information we have, and we’ve wanted ideas to blossom from them. They could have told us what we should and shouldn’t do on the website. I have nothing negative to say about their work, but it would have been useful for us if they’ve provided us with expert opinions. 

Nonetheless, I don’t blame them for that. As their client, we don’t know how much work has to be done for an e-commerce website. They also don’t know too much about cosmetics and skincare, but that’s because this isn’t their forte.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be as clear as you can be. Don’t beat around the bush. At the end of the day, they’re developers, and their creativity can reach a point where it will be much easier for us to be specific with them.

For all projects the team at KodeFlow was very professional and always attending to our needs and the changes that we were requesting. Faizan and Ahsan have been amazing! They have gone above and beyond our requests and they always exceed our expectations.

We have created a great partnership working with them and they have always answered every question we have had. We are extremely happy with their professionalism and we will continue to use them for upcoming projects!

What challenge were you trying to address with KodeFlow Technologies?

We needed someone to help create a website for our company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The website was built from scratch to provide our customers with access to our magazine, a social network of our readers, and a store as well. We provided them with an explanation of what we were looking for and they handled all of the design and frontend and backend development form there.

What is the team composition?

I have personally interacted with three members of their team, and I believe the rest of them help with the project in some regard.

How did you come to work with KodeFlow Technologies?

We found their team on Upwork and really hit it off well from the start. They went above and beyond to earn the contract and have continued to exceed our expectations ever since.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost for the project was around $28,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2017 and the cooperation is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since launching the site, we have gained over 9,000 members in both Germany and America. All of the work that they have delivered to us has been excellent. I gave them some examples of how I wanted the front page to look, and they came back to me with designs that followed those guidelines but looked even better than I could have imagined.

They provided all of the functionalities that I wanted, including some that I didn’t even know whether or not we would be able to implement. Thanks to them, my members can both sell products and write articles on the site themselves, which was one of our major goals for the project.

How did KodeFlow Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

I built trust with them easily because they demonstrated a reliability and commitment to the project from the very beginning. They are always available, call back immediately whenever I have a question, and always get to work on a solution immediately rather than putting you off until they’re less busy or something.

Their management of the project in general has made things very easy for me. They take a very reasonable amount of time to complete the various tasks we give them, and when they do set specific timelines in which to complete things they are always on time when delivering them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The personality of their company is really unique. They are so friendly and caring that they become like family to you over the course of the project. It is clear from day 1 that they are working form their hearts because they really want you to succeed, not just because it’s their business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing that I can think of that they need to do better. I will stick with them forever.

Trust them. Tell them what you would like but then relax and know that they will deliver the best product for you in the end.

I am a medical doctor, and was looking for somebody to create a good quality website with a professional clean design to incorporate all changes in timely manner for blogs and SEO content to help drive patient traffic.

What were your goals for this project?

To get rated on google on the first page for organic searches for common medical conditions which I treated, and to drive telephone calls/bookings for patients.

I called and spoke to about 4 different vendors and found Kode Flow the most responsive. they knew what they were doing from the outset and FAizan in particular, as the CEO was incredibly responsive and detailed in his knowledge and application, giving me the utmost confidence he could take this project forwards.

What was the team composition?

I was able to speak and email/text/whatsapp/IM Faizan and his assigned project manager at all times - typically response times were less than an hour! but certainly within a day, and sometimes within minutes! The project manager was competent and responsive and applied the changes in a good timeframe and let me know when it occured.

I am ranked on first page of google, and within 6 months, I was able to drive traffic through with call to action - increasing my conversion rate from 1-2 per month to 5-6 per week now an incredible month on month growth approach rates of 10 to 15%!

I was blown away by the confidence, competence and knowledge that Faizan and his team have at Kodeflow! Responsiveness is second to none!

Not really . I dont have any complaints at all.(apart from giving them a 6 months headstart, which is usual when setting up a website from scratch)
