I’m the office manager of a pharmacy.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kobus Technologies?

We’d been using another company in a different state to manage our equipment. We wanted to get that service locally so the team could reach us quickly, so we hired Kobus Technologies.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They started by reworking our entire network closet. Another task they handled was replacing our equipment with longer-lasting versions. They took steps to ensure our work stations are communicating properly and our network functions as it’s supposed to. There were multitudes of problems and they hammered out each one. 

What is the team composition?

Their whole team helped us at different points of the project, as different people came to our office at various times. 

How did you come to work with Kobus Technologies?

I’d interned with them when I was in college, so Ron (Operations Officer) was the first person I’d thought of to help us with this. I knew he had the knowledge since I’d worked with him so closely. It was an easy decision for me to choose them and the owner of the pharmacy trusted my judgment. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $5,000–$10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

All of the work was started and completed in February 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Kobus Technologies was able to go above and beyond what we expected. All of the issues we were previously having haven’t happened anymore. They made sure everything was working and we haven’t had to call them since. 

How did Kobus Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything went absolutely perfect. They completed the work under their estimated time. For communication, they were in contact with me the entire time they were here. I fully understood everything they were doing at each step of the project because they explained it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their timeliness that allowed me to call them at any time for help was most impressive. If they had something preventing them from coming right away, they’d let me know what time to expect them. They were super thorough, too. Their way of communicating with me was 100% professional, even though we knew each other previously. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s really nothing I can think of. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just tell them everything that’s wrong and they can take it from there. They’ll be able to break it down in layman’s terms for you, too.

I’m the managing member of an LLC that’s the purchaser of changed off bank debt and associated consumer loan charge off debt. We litigate it and collect it.

We needed an IT service after our original provider went out of business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They are responsible for network management, equipment, software, and specialty programming. Aside from hosting, they handle all of our IT and network-related needs. 

What is the team composition?

I work with three of their teammates, including Ron (Principal). They have an individual specialized in programming and another that focuses on networking and server maintenance.

How did you come to work with Kobus Technologies?

Our former IT company referred us to them as our relationship was ending. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spend about $5,000–$7,000 each year on their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started our engagement around May 2016, and they continue to provide our IT services.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve been excellent in helping us with network or desktop issues, problems with our servers, and compatibility challenges. The vast majority of our business is conducted through our network, so keeping things running smoothly is very important. They’ve been able to contribute in a big way through the quality of their work. We’re 100% satisfied with their installation work and the operational worthiness of the network. 

How did Kobus Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re excellent. In a recent large system upgrade, they came to our facility to set everything up. They didn’t leave until every major problem was resolved. Even after they did the initial setup, the carved out additional time to do some troubleshooting remotely. As bugs pop up, they’re able to address them remotely. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They understand their business and are always good-natured and honest. If they don’t know the answer to one of my questions, they’re quick to tell me that they’ll research it and get back to me with the information I need. I appreciate that professionalism. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m certain that there’s something that can be improved, but I’m satisfied with their approach and quality of their work. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My expectations have fully been met by their team.
