I'm the founder of Second Wind Movement, an online education and life coaching org for seniors. The purpose is to help retirees live healthy, active, and engaged lifestyles (and avoid being one of the scary stats on the rise such as Alzheimer's).

Just starting out on my passion project I needed a larger audience. I had grown my following organically through blogging and guest blogging and wanted to explore PPC tactics.

I had two main goals for this project: one of which was top of funnel with a goal of acquiring more subscribers through a lead magnet optin, the second of which was lower down the funnel with a goal of getting folks to sign up for my webinar.

I had previously done some content writing for them and knew of several of their clients who had successful outcomes using their services (from various case studies, etc). I also knew about their unique focus on design and CRO tactics, in addition to their PPC talent.

Knowing that the firm prioritizes continuing education and learning, I knew they would implement the most current strategies in today's digital market.

The project focused on running FB ads for two main campaigns with two goals - one to increase subscribership through a lead magnet, the other to increase registrations for my webinar (a retargeting campaign). Each campaign had its own landing page and spoke to two different phases of the funnel.

It was crucial to have the right messaging, audience targeting, and landing page design all working in conjunction with one another to ultimately increase conversions.

What was the team composition?

The team consisted of two main points of contact - an account manager who worked on the PPC campaigns and a designer who designed my landing pages.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was able to obtain enough subscribers through the first goal to create a lookalike audience and retarget that audience with the second campaign goal of filling my webinar. The webinar registration goal was a bit lower into the funnel and required a bit more budget than I had at the time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was efficient. We had weekly calls with the account manager, who was able to relay any additional info to my designated designer. Having the two work so closely together made it convenient to update any changes to the campaigns.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive thing about working with the team at KlientBoost was the consistent communication. I had a weekly phone call with my point of contact, who was managing my campaigns directly. I also was able to quickly relay my design requests to our designated CRO designer.

I appreciate the integration between their PPC and design teams. This is something that's not commonly done at other PPC agencies. Great attention to detail.

Are there any areas for improvement?

For a small startup business like mine, pursuing further projects with KlientBoost would require a larger ad budget. For me, the main area for improvement is in the cost.

GrowthHackers is an online community that hosted annual conferences to bring experts in growth together on stage. As the Head of Growth I was responsible for the conference's agenda and promotion.

KlientBoost had been providing great content to our online community, helping many different brands with their digital marketing, social media marketing, and PPC. We got to know Johnathan and the KlientBoost team as leaders in the space and when we were ready to start promoting the conference, we looked to them for help.

Every week we would have a meeting to discuss the progress of ads towards our goals. We would provide raw assets and some general concept/ideas and the KlientBoost team would create, launch, and optimize ads to help us increase ticket sales and increase awareness of the conference.

I worked with Johnathan and a designer on his team that helped with the ad creative.

We succeeded our goal of selling out our conference.

It was effective. Johnathan was quick to respond to our requests and kept up with our launch plan.

How down to earth they are as people. I'm impressed with their ability to pick up on an idea and run with it.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It may have been helpful to have a weekly report delivered via email, although not totally necessary.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to see a 2.5x ROAS but also we wanted to recapture customers / find new customers through branded and non branded campaigns. Klientboost was successful at both.

Klientboost was responsible for everything on our google ads campaigns except for creating the content (which we provided). They managed and maintained every aspect of the ad delivery from ad campaigns, keywords, exclusions, strategy, audience targeting / retargeting etc. They provided full ads management and support.

What was the team composition?

Our team had 2 contacts. Kim Fitkin & Ally McDeavitt. Both were incredibly knowledgable, professional and punctual in all aspects. All which I hold to the utmost importance. We held a weekly call which was extremely beneficial to our young team as well as multiple email updates a week. Even if you were not in the ads manager, you knew exactly what was going on and being accomplished.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Klientboost literally created the entire foundation for our google ads campaigns. Without their expertise, we would not be where we are today with the structure and efficiency within the platform.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

As I mentioned above, we held a weekly review call to discuss past performance and future outlook/goals and campaigns. Even if you were not active within the interface you knew exactly what was going on and why. Extremely effective and efficiently operated.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to deliver big results and scale deliverables for a boutique-sized company stood out. The intellectual property of their employees was impressive and they definitely delivered where we expected and in other areas as well. They went above and beyond to create an excellent experience in something that can be seen as daunting and cumbersome. I only have great things to say about Klientboost.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Honestly no. They met and exceeded all expectations. I would recommend Klientboost over any other company.

I first met the Founder of KlientBoost a number of years ago. I knew his company was getting great results for their clients, so I decided to give them a try. I was blown away when visiting their office to see how well organized their operation was.

We were spending about 5k/month between facebook and google. We weren't happy with our results. We found out that the company we were contracting was going about it all wrong. We couldn't even produce the data that KlientBoost needed to tell them fully how our previous campaigns were going.

KlientBoost set up a game plan for us to better collect data, optimize our landing pages and better target our keywords.

We have seen a tremendous spike in our conversions. For us, that means leads and it had a lot to do with how KlientBoost setup micro commits on the landing pages. We were better able to see what our high performing keywords were and could adjust the dials accordingly!

Once we had our old contractor out of the picture, the process went really smooth. We interfaced primarily with the project manager for status updates.

I loved that the tasks were not outsourced and were handled in house. Their team is pretty incredible.

Yes! Expand to SEO because those agencies need to work to the caliber of KlientBoost.

Lead generation, simply put -- and on a smaller note, personal education. I'm not as deep on PPC management or strategy, so I rely on trustworthy partners to bring me up to speed and keep me ahead of the game.

Reputation. I'd seen their work, heard positive things, and had seen the Founder share their methodology and results. For me, there was no other option: their credibility made them the only real choice.

KB advised on a potential PPC strategy for our niches and target markets that was rooted in both data and an understanding of our business goals. From there, they took on the management of said campaign, reporting, and any shifts in strategy.

We had a dedicated AM and multiple people executing to the account; strategic advice was provided by and informed by the founder.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While I am not comfortable disclosing individual metrics, I can share that I have been seriously impressed by the work and the thoughtfulness that has gone into our campaign. The strong communication and consistent results are proof positive that our relationship is a success.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication, scheduling, and expectation management were all controlled well; a positive experience all around. It is difficult to find vendors who treat you like a person instead of an account, but I feel KB does this well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Founder's depth of knowledge spills over into his team. They have the depth of experience from running major campaigns that few others can boast. Even so, they're committed to continuous improvement and constant optimization.

I am the GM and part-owner of OC Fast-Twitch. It is a sports performance gym located in Fountain Valley, CA. We train high level athletes that want to improve their athletic performance. My primary role at the gym is to run the operations and grow the company.

I met Johnathan (the founder) at the gym and he told me what he does. I researched around to see what other companies did this in the area. The deciding factors that led me to select this vendor was the creativity, clarity of what they would do, and knowledge they displayed.

The first thing we did was outline the goals that I had for my business. After they helped me map out a plan, they just executed it. They set everything up and made it super easy to get done.

They work very fast and with a lot of attention to detail. They built out a landing page...set up PPC ads...designed and implemented Facebook ads....set it up for the leads to get delivered to a spread sheet.

There were a few people that I interacted with. I can't remember their exact roles but they were really responsive and excellent.

I had a lot of leads come through. So many that we actually had to pause the campaign so my team could keep up. It was awesome and it really changed my business. We went from 3 sales a month to around 10, not to mention the effects long term of those leads in our system.

Seamless.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I really felt like they went above and beyond. I also felt like they delivered on their claims. Many of the employees are friends and workout at the gym. They are so nice! I am also just astounded at the speed that they work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I honestly can't really think of anything that they could have done differently or better.

We evaluated several PPC partners based on recommendations from trusted sources. We went with this vendor based on their quality of work, thought-leadership in the space and attentiveness.

We started off with KlientBoost at a fixed budget just managing Adwords. We then expanded our paid media campaigns into Bing and also ran some strategic display campaigns as well.

I had three people consistently working on my campaign, our account manager, and two other people working on the account.

We maintained less than $100 cost per qualified leads while scaling our lead volume 10% quarter over quarter.

Their attentiveness to detail and thoughtfulness when it came to new campaigns was impressive.

I own and operate Dan Design LLC. Dan Design works with SMB and B2B companies. Dan specializes in re-designing flexible websites for growing startups and other SMB's. The goal is to deliver a new website that enhances the company's marketing efforts, making them more efficient and effective – ie. Dan builds websites that are focused on capturing more leads.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

I work with B2B and SMB clients all the time, and without fail, every single one of them, at one point, has been burned by an SEO or PPC agency. Some clients have some pretty horrific stories.

It's always the same tune though - the agency didn't deliver, they over-promised, they were confusing, they didn't "get us", they were slow to respond, then eventually they just ghosted us. "I feel robbed" is a common sentiment I hear about most other vendors.

That being the case, my clients are often very hesitant to try another agency. So, convincing them to give another PPC agency a try could easily kill my credibility with my clients - if at any point the PPC were to sour. If my clients are not asking for a recommendation, then it's best left alone...

Or at least that's how I use to operate until I met Johnathan and KlientBoost. Now, it's almost a matter of ethics for me. I'm doing a disservice by NOT recommending them to my clients.

What were your goals for this project?

If you're in business, then you need a solid PPC strategy. That's just a given. I always hated leaving my clients without a solution to such a huge key component of their success online. It's like chopping a leg off a chair when I deliver a new website but not an effective PPC management strategy. KB fills that gap in spades for me and my clients.

Johnathan and KB's free resources sold me. Speaking with Johnathan is what locked me in. I tell my clients, even those who think they already have a great solution, "Just... meet with KlientBoost before you make a final decision." That first meeting is normally more than enough to get my clients excited about PPC and KB.

After the referral, they take my clients and KB handles EVERYTHING. That's a big win in my book - it limits my involvement to a bare minimum - sending login credentials is about the breadth of work I ever have to do. It's amazing sending a client over to them, and not having any backlash or additional work for me or my client.

Through my interaction, KB appears to have a dedicated AE with highly experienced support staff under them which makes sure nothing is missed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Never had a complaint and only happy clients. ( Do you understand how rare that is when dealing with PPC or SEO agencies? )

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Quick, easy... these guys are responsive, clear, and on the ball. They make it easy for my clients to understand, pass over request... I've never had to play the telephone game with a client and KB.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge. They're doing things you hardly ever see, and it's sooooo stinking smart. Their free resources alone have saved me a dime - and made me look smarter than I am.

I'm not sure if Google loves them or hates them, but man, they maximize the return on the spend. Their brilliance and in-depth use and understanding of how to get the most out of paid - their SKAGs guide alone blew my mind years ago.

I really can't think of anywhere they need improvement. Johnathan and his team have KB dialed in!

Per NDAs with my customers, I can't share specifics, but across the board, we scaled spend by 4X, while actually reducing CPA. This never happens when scaling spend. Often, you see diminishing returns, but they pulled it off, hence why I recommend KB.

Very effective. Tbh, I want to do as little work as possible. They provide me the comfort to do so.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their speed of execution and how little I needed to be involved are great. Two things I really like.

I like to know the "why" behind everything, so including that in our weekly or monthly calls behind what worked would be very helpful, but that's really it.

Each week we would review progress of current campaigns and what changes were made since last week. There was always a follow up email summary of the call, including in detail what was discussed, what work was going to be accomplished in the next week, and when the next meeting was. Before any call, a summary of performance, and agenda was provided. There was detailed tracking of work completed, and progress towards individual goals.

What was the team composition?

I worked with an account manager on a weekly basis, and interfaced occasionally with designers, developers, and platform specialists.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While working with Klientboost, we were able to increase volume of signups by 100's of customers per week, and drove down the customer acquisition cost by more than 50%.

Working with Reese and his team was incredibly efficient, transparent, and consistent.

Their deep knowledge of ad platforms, strategies, and ability to manipulate initiatives to meet objectives.
