I was a Director of Strategic Initiatives reporting to the COO of a private equity-owned, 500+ employee, multinational software and payments company.

I initially hired Kinetik to design and build a new website for one of our lines of business and ultimately expanded the scope to include several hundred client websites and other web design and development projects with other products in our portfolio. Our goal was to modernize our website and grow our web presence.

I had used Kinetik for other web design, development and graphic design projects for a vodka company I co-founded.

Following a detailed requirements discussion, Kinetik used Webflow and Wordpress to build our websites before rounds of revisions and finally launch.

Our point of contact was their principal designer/developer. Other development resources were utilized but we preferred to streamline communications by only interacting directly with our point of contact.

Everyone at our company who was involved and all of our clients who got new websites as part of the project were beyond thrilled with the results.

We were able to communicated real-time via Slack and held countless meetings over Zoom.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Kinetik was willing to do whatever it took to ensure we were happy with the finished product. We were a difficult client due to a revolving door of mulitple decision makers and approvers, and they navigated that extremely well and ultimately delivered results that exceeded our expectations (mainly because they introduced new styles, designs and templates that we hadn't seen before).

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish they double the staff so we could have hired them for more projects simultaneously!

We needed a website for our agency and an overall brand refresh. After 2 prior attempts with other web development companies, we reached out to Kinetik to solve our problem.

We found that other web design companies tried to push their own idea on what we needed/wanted. Kinetik was the only company that listened to their client and spent considerable time uncovering our needs and wants. As a result, our expectations for a website were surpassed thanks to Kinetik's level of communication and attention to detail.

We met with Kinetik to conceptualize our website design and provide some general direction to Walt and his team of developers. Walt presented an initial draft that was spot on. From there we worked together to finalize our content and launch the new site.

Walt, the owner, was our main point of contact. He did an excellent job coordinating with our leadership team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We routed our certificate requests through the new site which increased the quality and accuracy of our work.

We used Slack to coordinate on a regular basis. It was our first time using Slack and I thought that it was an excellent means of communication especially during the design phase of our website when ideas are constantly changing.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed with their creativity and eye for aesthetics. We received a website that aligned exceptionally well with our branding and is truly one-of-a-kind.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When we first launched, there were a few bugs in our "contact us" form. We let them know and they were quickly addressed.

We acquired a company and then decided to merge the clients into our existing company. Kinetik Agency helped us with all the client custom website projects that developed from that company decision.

Kinetik had been working for one of the other operating companies at Togetherwork, the company that owns Shulware. Kinetik came highly recommended.

We used Basecamp to communicate which worked well. Walt was very flexible and patient with our often demanding clients.

Their flexibility, responsiveness, and reasonable cost were impressive.

Kinetik did a great job. Would definitely use them again should the need arise.
