They were responsive to our needs, flexible in adjusting timelines and priorities, and proactive in proposing solutions to emerging challenges, ensuring stable implementation and consistent reporting throughout the project period.

What we found most impressive about Keytotech was their strong combination of technical expertise and genuine mission-driven engagement. They’ve been great in terms of the development of the iOS side of the app. They’ve done all the development work so far for the past 3-4 months.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They looked at all the requirements, did a thorough review, and came back with next steps including how to access it, what measures were in place, and so on. From there, we put a proposal together and agreed on milestones and deadlines. The work is completed (I tested and checked it) and they released it to me through TestFlight.

I’m working with three developers. I’ve been meeting with one who’s the lead.

I found them on UpWork. They had excellent reviews and a very good portfolio. They were responsive to queries as well.

Aesthetically, the app is up to my expectations. There’s still more work to do on the app overall, but KeyToTech has been very transparent throughout the whole process. We’re on the same page. Everything thus far has been to scope, and when I ask them for things they come back with a plan to accomplish it. And if they can’t do something then they’ll tell me and then create a workaround. The workaround is sometimes better than my original idea.

How did KeyToTech perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s very strong. We communicate every day. They’re professional and deadline-driven, which includes telling me along the way if things need to be extended.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their attention to detail and ability to go above and beyond the tasks set stand out. There were instances between milestones with a large amount of work and they never said no. They haven’t said no at all throughout this relatively complex project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

In certain ways, they could have dug a bit deeper into some of the issues. We got to the destination in the end but sometimes a bit more due diligence would have been good. I’m satisfied with what they’ve done overall though.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very detailed and know exactly what you want from the start. That’s the most important ingredient going into a relationship with any developer. For those who have a steep learning curve, it’s important that documentation is reviewed thoroughly.

There’s currently one iOS developer, one Android developer, and one backend developer. We’re thinking about hiring more in the future.

Everything has gone well with KeyToTech; in fact, we’re thinking about hiring more personnel from them.  

We had a lot of features that we entered into our iOS and Android app and that KeyToTech implemented successfully. They partially did some pieces of work and fully completed others. 

We’re satisfied with their performance. They’re pretty clear, and we can see their dedication. They try to get to the bottom of each task to understand exactly what we want from them and how to perform it in the best way possible.

Our team handles project management. I speak with KeyToTech’s developers on a daily basis. We talk about the tasks and how we should move forward with the tasks. I speak with the CEO depending on the need. It could go a month without me talking with him, but it could also be a period of time I speak with him weekly.

We were assigned with Project Manager, Designer, Native Android, and IOS developers and QA engineer.

Both apps work great. The number of our users is rapidly growing and we've received pretty good reviews. Right now we are in the process of creating new content for the phrasebook and figuring out what functionality we need next. I hope we would be able to continue further development work with KeyToTech team.

The project went smoothly from start to finish. They kept us updated throughout the process. We used Skype and email to communicate. They're very prompt and have never missed a deadline.
