On the day of the shoot, their team made everything feel so effortless—they were organized, professional, and kept the energy upbeat. They were also incredibly patient, gave great feedback about how we could speak about our business and gave great direction while still making sure we felt comfortable and natural on camera. By the end of the day, we knew we had created something amazing, and we couldn’t wait to see the final video!

Invited key west to a live event we had at our facility. The video was the announce our new facility at our Gala. They had to capture the event live that had mutiple set ups. Record Interviews that was conducted by our staff, partners and donors. Capture b-roll and a tour of our space. They had to combine all this, including assests we provided to create a 7 minute video.

KeyWest exceeded our expectations, delivering exactly what we envisioned. Their reliability shone through as they arrived a day before our event to ensure everything was set up properly. The live stream on ON24 was a success, running smoothly from start to finish. Additionally, they produced an incredible final video for our event, which we were able to share and promote on our social media platforms.

Just one minor thing they can improve on; we asked for a recording of the raw videos of the customer testimonials, and they asked for an extra charge. We were hoping we didn't need to pay extra for that.

To do so we requested two longer videos (1-2 minutes) as well as 100 photos and 15 short videos.

Our deliverables were very successful in terms of the professional, polished and clean look and the content that we required. We got all of the deliverables we requested.

We think they could have improved a bit on the shoot day by giving us a little bit more guidance on what to capture in order to meet our goals. By the end of it we didn't have enough interview clips to meet all of the deliverables we requested, so it could have been beneficial for some guidance on shoot day that we needed X amount more of time or X amount more interviews to meet our goals.

We had key west take over a job that was started by a different company who had a very poor performance. Key west did a great job of cleaning up the mess that we had, and produced a wonderful video. They were very patient with all the edits and worked quickly to finish within our timeline. I hope to work with them on future projects!

I looked at past work they had done and was very impressed. After my initial phone conversation with Stuart I was quite confident that he would be easy to work with and would give the project his full attention.

What challenge were you trying to address with Key West Video Inc.?

They provided video production services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They gave us the option of sending them a script or having them create one. After we rehearsed in our office, they showed up on time the day of the shoot to explain how the process would go. Their staff members were very professional.

These were live-action videos done in our boardrooms, as were our staff pictures. Key West provided all the equipment. At the end of the shoot, I asked if they could capture footage outside our building, and not only did that add that into their work, but they didn’t charge for it on the invoice.

Key West was also responsible for the editing and the audio mixing. The video was 30-seconds-1-minute long, and we’re planning on doing more videos with them.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people.

How did you come to work with Key West Video Inc.?

They were able to show me what they could provide for me. Key West Video had one video done and individual staff pictures taken for our site. The owner reached out to me right away and provided a quote quickly. It was within our budget. If it was too high for certain services, they would work with me to trim the price to fit into my budget. For example, they could make the video a half-day production rather than an all-day production.

I’ve reached out to them for years, but my company always didn’t approve the quote. Finally, they were ready to bring them on, so I got everything ready with Key West.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $2,700 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2021–December 2021.

The videos were posted on social media, and we’ve gotten good responses. People are looking at them. They set us apart from other companies who just have static words on their website.

Their communication was great, including in the evenings. We mostly spoke over emails and phone calls.

Their communication really put us at ease. Additionally, they listened to us and understood what we wanted.

As I researched legal video production companies, I saw that Key West didn’t have any reviews from legal clients. They should post these so future clients know who they’ve worked with.

We met on location where our videographer had all the necessary equipment to shoot a 1hour walking tour through the streets of Toronto. Proofs of the video are sent back and forth for editing approval until we reach our final version.

Chris was our videographer and we really enjoy working with him. Super attentive, and always adds creative flare.

Due to the pandemic all in-person event were cancelled, we created a virtual fundraiser for our charity. Key West created the event for us and they were amazing.

Our goal for this project is to raise $20,000 for our Food Security and Basic Needs program.

We found Key West online and spoke with them about our project and they seemed eager to assist us with our event.

Once we decided on a date they worked with us every step of the way to create this amazing video. They came down and did the interviews, they worked with us for the graphics and they helped the flow and look of the event. It was such a pleasure working with them and we would work with them again.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

We were in contact with the 2 people one to make sure we had all the necessary parts ready for them to upload in a timely manner and the other was to go over the planning process of the event. We worked three drafts until the event was perfected.

It has only been 2 weeks since we launched our virtual event and we have raised $10,000. We still have a few more weeks to go. We are receiving great feedback from our donors and the general public on the event and how the loved it. Thanks to Key West our event looks great, it has moved people to action and we are grateful.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The coordinator was excellent, we worked well together and spoke on a regular basis. There were no challenges regarding the content, video uploads, interviews, and graphics. The drafts were sent in a timely manner and edits were also done in a timely manner.

One of the great things about Key West is the way the conducted themselves they always made us feel that we were important and never seemed annoyed when we wanted to change something about our event. I really enjoyed working with them.
