The scope of work was to design and develop a prototype of a game as a cross-platform proof of concept for our future gaming service. Key deliverables included:

-Game concept & technical design – Definition of the core mechanics and overall UX flow, plus a brief technical architecture for using Unity as the main engine.
- Core gameplay prototype – Implementation of the logic, result calculation, and a simple balance/win display so we could evaluate the player experience.
- UI/UX implementation – A functional user interface including main game screen, controls, and simple visual feedback.
- Configurable game parameters – Ability to tweak core values via configuration rather than code changes, to speed up iteration.
- Cross-platform builds – Stable builds for Android, iOS, and WebGL, integrated into our review process (TestFlight, Unity WebGL public link, and direct Android build).

KAPPS successfully delivered a cross-platform proof-of-concept game that ran smoothly on Android, iOS, and WebGL, confirming that Unity can meet our technical requirements for the future service. The builds were distributed via TestFlight, a public Unity WebGL link, and a direct Android APK, allowing all key stakeholders to test, review, and validate the solution across our target platforms.

They delivered the proof of concept on time and to a high standard. We also had weekly calls where we shared feedback and aligned on next steps.

The developers were an important part of the pre-production. They were professional and qualified and produced some key elements in the production.

The communication with Stan's Assets developers was clear and they were active in their communication with their team members. We used Jira and slack as our main communication and project management software.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The communication with both the developers as well as with Stan's Assets management was great. The developers showed initiative and true participation in the production.

Stan’s Assets from KAPPS was already known in our studio for their high quality tools on the Unity Asset Store, which we were already using. After an interview with founder and then with the rest of the team, it was clear for us that they will be a great fit. Good communication, highly professional and proactive attitude and adequate rates.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We’ve been able to release our developments in new markets in few weeks, and include in our development roadmap new products that we could never conceive without their help. Due the successful outcomes, our plans for this collaboration are still to keep it in the long-term.

The team dedicates enough time to understand requirements and expected deliverables and they are always looking for doing the extra mile for excellence. Managing remote teams is always challenging, but their approach of frequent communications and updates, made this process painless and smooth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Overall we feel this collaboration as an extension of our team. Their effort to provide better value instead of only focusing on fulfilling requirements lists is impressive.

So far, the small and infrequent issues were always due miscommunications, which is something inherent to remote teams and not specifically their fault.

The interview process was good, the candidate briefs very legible and expressive, and the quality of candidates was very good. Among the two companies we contracted with, there are no complaints whatsoever about the staff provided by Stan's Assets, which is why we regularly explore new opportunities with them.

We develop a large multi-player online grand strategy game with blockchain connections. While the design and development is controlled by MoonGaming and MoonTech, we work with developers from Stan's Assets to make this a reality.

The project has, after about 6 months of development and some prototyping, hit an important MVP milestone with the public launch of NFT Lands being sold, and a interactive online map (using the Unity3D game client) whose visuals and functionality were strongly influenced with key contributions from Stan's Assets Staff.

We currently worked with 2 of their developers, and are in the process of contracting them for a Senior QA Analyst & Manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Visual Quality of the Game so far is very good, especially the Clouds, the Oceans, and Showroom Video show technical Artist Artem H.'s great skill. The WebGL Showroom, the client data layer as well as the loading and reloading of the data was implemented by developer Evgeny T., who played a crucial role in building these, all the way from proof of concept to final solution.

While there are some language barriers, the developers are fully integrated into our team and participate in daily business as usual, including stand-ups, retrospectives, planning, and team discussions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The incredible friendliness and professionalism even when we as a client were undecided for a while; and the casual way they have been repeatedly showing us top tier candidates that matched our job descriptions almost perfectly; even if we were unsuccessful in finding such candidates at all using our internal recruiters.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If we can find a way to offer language classes or shared communications coaching for their developers, this would facilitate better and faster onboarding of new candidates. They initially had a bit of a hard time, even though their English skills, especially paired with their strong technical skills and pragmatic work approach, were more than sufficient.

Very happy with collaboration, it only ended because we found ourselves in a position where we had to allocate internal resources on the project.

Good communication throughout, good velocity overall, competitive rates and an attention to detail from the founders. Generally felt well looked after.

Senior/Founding members will spend the time to understand requirements and deliverables / deadlines as well as internal processes and they'll quickly skill up where required to integrate themselves seamlessly.

They will look after any less senior members to ensure they are equally up to scratch with the project and its requirements minimising management overhead on the client's end.

Overall felt like a very well integrated extension of our team. For the most part, it did not feel like they were external developers, which was exactly what we were after.

On occasion the skill level of the less senior engineers might vary, but the founders have a very professional and goal driven attitude so they will proactively take measures to ensure good standards, which is very good to see.

The projects require good 3d design to create new compelling spaces , combined with high quality Unity skills to turn those 3d spaces into reality. We followed an AGILE development methodology to deliver designs and then a fully coded functioning product for Oculus Quest devices. Not only were KAPPS required to deliver Quest applications, they have also created mobile applications based in Unity and WebGL applications. KAPPS developed high quality mobile apps and WebGL experience for the same mobile apps. They did this in fast time and these apps are now being used by our client and their clients without problems. The VR experiences developed show beautiful design and are build on our clients framework, which showed the ability of the KAPPS teams to be able work closely with their clients to get the job done. Feedback from the client has been extremely positive and we are continuing to grow the work they require from us and the KAPPS team.

Project management is of an AGILE nature, essentially fitting into weekly sprints. We use SLACK for managing communication between us and KAPPS. When KAPPS say they are going to do something it's done. They are good at reaching out and communicating with us and the client when they need to and are always there to answer questions or provide advice when needed. Outstanding service!

Ability to solve complex problems and to be able to work collaboratively with us and our client to get the job done. Their knowledge of Unity and 3d design is second to none and of a very high standard, making them fast and professional to work with Finally, their ability to work collaboratively and creatively to get to a solution is second to none in the market.

Defining the gameplay experience, starting with the mechanics, down to the character evolution.
Developing the Behavior, animations, and special moves of the character.
Creating the World the player is in to make the game interactive.
Creating and improving the Interface so it remains user-friendly and uncluttered for mobile users.
Ensuring the game is playable on multiple devices without compatibility issues.
Providing Regular Builds (every two weeks) and providing updates to enhance engagement.
Managing the entire lifecycle of the game for publication on both iOS and Android devices.
In other words, they aided in the development of the entire process of completing the product Planet Eater from scratch in an organized, dependable manner.

The game launched on the App Store and Google Play, and early player feedback was very positive. Even having issues with the Google account (not by their fault), KAPPS team managed to solve it and made the launch possible to the Google Play store and App Store.

Everything proceeded seamlessly. Their communication was precise, deadlines were met, and I didn’t have to micromanage at every step - for me, this is crucial, since I didn’t want to be a bottleneck in the whole development process.
A few milestones were delayed, but only because we agreed it was more important to take the time to address some key feedback. Those adjustments improved the final product, so the delays felt justified and well-handled.
Overall, the process stayed efficient and low-stress.

KAPPS promptly incorporated my suggestions and delivered revised versions. While I initially had some uncertainties about the app screens, we collaborated closely and finalized the designs after a few days of discussion.

The app is still under development, so it hasn't gone live yet. However, the progress so far has been promising.

Whenever I raised an issue or shared an idea, they either implemented it or suggested thoughtful ways to improve my vision. Their professionalism and collaborative approach truly stood out.

The delays in the project have primarily been due to the fact that they are from Ukraine and they live in war with russia, so I don’t hold them accountable for that. They’ve been doing an excellent job, and I’m happy to have hired them.

There were different stages of development. Almost all of the animations (until 1.6.) were done by Stans Assets. Also two out of three minigames were done by them.

They developed and animated all required assets in time and with good output. Weekly calls were scheduled where we provided feedback.

Very effective - we had also access to their Jira, so we could track what they are currently working on and how far they are.
